Our family of four plus our Labrador had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. This house was a great base for a lot of day trips throughout our week (Bayeux / D Day beaches and graves and Trouville) and the proximity to pretty Honfleur for leisurely walks through the cobbled alleys was excellent.

Amazing location and setting for the property but let down by extremely poor WIFI and bathroom and toilet ( shower very small and slippery exit, toilet small and very diifficult to access. Felt very uncomfortable having to wait for gite to be checked over before receiving our very large deposit back.We have never had to pay this amount of cash for a depoist before.Gite would be ideal though for a family with small children.

We had a lovely stay at Melanie and Ambroise. The house was great. The service was even better. Melanie and Ambroise are lovely people how care a lot for their tenants and their houses. We recommend a stay in beautiful Normandy with them!

We had a very enjoyable week in Normandy; Melanie and Ambroise’s house is set in lovely, peaceful countryside a few miles from Honfleur. In a lovely setting, it is well equipped with all that we needed for the week and our hosts were accommodative and very nice people.

The house is up a bending and climbing single track road which took a bit of getting used to. Well worth it for the view. Very easy to drive in to Honfleur and there is a great baker in the nearby village. Melanie and Ambrose, the owners, were very helpful.. we were blessed by the weather and had a brilliant time.

Le Clos Saint Germain: Very nice place for a vacation. Located near to honfleur (5min drive) and in a very quiet neighbourhood. Owners are friendly and always available in case of problems. The house is superb. Clean, well equipped. Everything you need is available, even for families with small children. There is a room with toys, stairs can be blocked for small children, seats and beds are foreseen. The kitchen is complete and tidy. Dishwasher, oven etc etc are available. The garden is absolutely amazing. Garden furniture is available and the view from the garden to the surrounding area is magnificent.

We found the location and the house perfect with our two young girls. Very well equipped for a young family and only 2.5 hrs drive from Calais. The area is beautiful and the house has a view you want to see every day - especially when the sun shines! Have no hesitation in recommending this place to friends and family.

We had a wonderful week in le clos-saint-Germain. The house and gardens were delightful and the owner both friendly and welcoming. We are a family of six. Four adults and two children aged five and two. We all loved Honfleur, something for everyone. Great choice of restaurants and plenty of entertainment for the children. We would highly recommend this property.

Wir haben eine erholsame Woche in ruhiger und schöner Lage 5km außerhalb Honfleurs genossen. Das Haus ist praktikabel aber leider bei Einzug etwas ungepflegt gewesen. Gute Küchenausstattung und der schöne Blick in die Natur sind hervorzuheben. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Leider wird einem auf der Homepage suggeriert, das das Haus zentrumsnah in Honfleur liegt, weshalb wir nur eine mittlere Bewertung geben können, da wir ein Haus in fußläufiger Nähe zu Honfleur gesucht hatten.

De woning is licht, ruim en alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Zelfs de verlichting is sfeervol wat je niet van veel Franse huizen kan zeggen. Jammer dat de oven nauwelijks werkt en de radio afstemmen is mij niet gelukt.

Monsieur Germain est un hôte extra, il nous a fait d'excellentes recommandations pour Honfleur et ses alentours. Il prend le temps et est à l'écoute. Le logement est propre, au calme, situé à 10 min du centre d'Honfleur. Il est très bien équipé pour les enfants avec chaise hôte, lit parapluie, salle de jeux, barrière pour les escaliers, baignoire de douche, table à langer. Maison agréable et jardin avec vue. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Encore merci!

Séjour très reposant dans une maison lumineuse, très fonctionnelle, à deux pas de Honfleur . Une très belle vue , un jardin clôturé, les chiens en ont bien profité. Week-end prolongé très agréable dans la maison parfaitement équipé et bien tenue de Mélanie et Ambroise. L'endroit est au calme, en pleine verdure avec un beau jardin et vu sur des pâturages et surtout, proche de toutes commodités. Notre petite fille était aux anges! Les bons conseilles de Mélanie nous ont permis de belles découvertes ... Une réussite !!!

Un grand merci à Ambroise et Mélanie pour ce beau sejour dans votre gîte. L'équipement est plus que parfait. Il y a tout ce qui faut pour les jeunes enfants. Et c'est d'un calme. Nous tenons aussi à remercier Delphine qui nous accueilli. C'est une personne d'une grande gentillesse et d'excellent conseil. Bref un gîte à recommander pour un chouette séjour en Normandie.
