We had a great family reunion of 3 generations - 9 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog! First impressions was the place is huge, (and the air con was a great benefit.) We picked this house because of the outdoor dining and cooking facilities- the round table was a big plus for family dinners - we made pizzas! The kids enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, table tennis, croquet and we all enjoyed the bikes! Sophie is an amazing hostess and greeted us on arrival, explaining everything. She was there immediately if we needed help or advice. The bed linen is divine, high quality white pure cotton sateen finish. I was worried because there are no restaurants in walking distance but we shopped and all took turns to make meals - probably saved a fortune by cooking ‘at home’ and definitely saved a fortune by buying our own alcohol ! There are two large fridges plus wine fridge, and a freezer with ice maker. Every kitchen device you could think of is provided. We all had a fabulous time and I recommend this place for big families/friends’ get together.

This was an excellent property for a party of 12 adults ranging from 25-86 and two dogs. Exceptionally well appointed, the outside eating and cooking areas especially. Great fun making pizzas and memories!

The house was absolutely fantastic. So comfortable in every way. Very well equipped and clean. So much thought has gone into what is needed. We had towels and robes provided for the pool and hot tub. Two families shared the property and it worked perfectly The outside areas were outstanding. The pool was perfect and the hot tub too. Philippe was great and answered any questions we had. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette très belle maison, très bien équipée et confortable, avec de belles chambres. Le jacuzzi est très spacieux et agréable, et nous avons pu profiter de la belle piscine privée en extérieur malgré un temps mitigé. La localisation était parfaite pour être au calme et à courte distance des châteaux de Cheverny, Chambord, Blois, et autres châteaux et activités. Nous recommandons!

We stayed as a whole family, 2 grandparents, 6 parents/aunts/uncles and 4 small children. This is a wonderful large rustic property in a beautiful area of the Loire valley, close to Blois and many famous chateaus. For our family of 12 the 7 bedrooms, large dining/living room and large BBQ and shaded outdoor dining area were superb. The pool, table tennis and many different outdoor seating areas were perfect. Our 3 and 4 year olds started swimming by themselves (with arm bands) for the first time! We used the many bikes - this property is actually on the "Chateaux a Velo" route! A lovely holiday, we would go again.

Nous avions choisi le Clos de la Bodice pour nos 50 ans de mariage, nous étions 8 adultes et 7 enfants enfin des grands. Gîte super bien équipé tout est de tres bonne qualité. Un spa super luxueux 8 personnes, piscine chauffée. Literie très bien avec du joli linge . Nous avons vraiment envie d'y retourner pour une autre occasion. Et bien entendu nous recommandons fortement ce gîte. Propriétaire très aimable, disponible et discret.

We just spent a fabulous week at Clos de la Bodice. It easily accommodated 16 of us (10 adults, 6 children aged 8 - 15) without it feeling cramped. We were all able to eat together - either round the covered table outside or the round table inside. The facilities are excellent. The pool was heated and both a magnet for the kids and great for playing games. The jacuzzi was bigger than most I've seen (even in the spa hotels) and ideal to either soak listening to music or watch films. The sporting facilities were also excellent - table tennis was particularly popular (and ideal for a big game of round the table - as we'd brought extra bats). There were also plenty of loungers for sunbathing. In fact, it was so pleasant to stay at the house that it was tempting not to go out and explore the sites of the Loire valley. However, there are numerous interesting places to see just a short distance away. Several of these could have been reached by bike and there were many great local bike trails and a large number of bikes to choose from (complete with helmets). Philippe was extremely welcoming and easygoing. He allowed us to bring a caravan with 4 extra people for no charge. Also, when we phoned to ask if we could exceed the max number of people in the house, he told us he was expanding the upstairs and increasing the number of beds. And true to his word, he had done this (and didn't want any extra money). He also just shrugged when we told him we'd broken a couple of glasses. Excellent place and excellent owner. Would be keen to stay there again.

Très belle propriété, vraiment conçue pour le nombre de personnes annoncées (piscine immense, mobilier de jardin nombreux, etc.). Le propriétaire est très réactif et disponible. C’était un très bon séjour. Le seul bémol était le fond de cuisine un peu light à notre goût, mais c’est vraiment en détail à côté du reste et de la qualité des prestations. Allez-y les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçus.

Nous avons adoré notre week end dans cette jolie maison tout à fait conforme au descriptif. L’équipement est parfait (vélos, barbecue, appareils à raclette/crêpes, chaises hautes bébé ...), tout est pensé pour passer un très agréable moment en famille ou entre amis. Les chambres sont confortables et bien équipées. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de la piscine car il n’a pas fait très beau, en dehors nous avons adoré l’espace SPA, le jacuzzi est très agréable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Dit is een geweldig huis om met meerdere families te zijn. Voldoende slaapkamers en een ruime woonkamer (waar we nauwelijks zijn geweest vanwege het goede weer) en buiten heel veel ruimte, een prettig zwembad, bbq, heel veel stoelen, een ruime overkapte tafel waar je naar believen in de zon of in de schaduw aan kon zitten.

Très bon week-end dans un très beau logis rien a redire tout est pensé .J'avais loué ce gite pour réunir ma famille pour nos 60 ans de mariage . Tout a été réussit ,en plus nous avons eu un temps magnifique et chaud et nous avons pu profité de l'extérieur comme de l'intérieur et avons passé un week-end de rêve.Car nous étions 17 . Mon arrière petit fils 7 ans a dit en rentrant chez lui a sa maman ,j'ai passé un week-end au Paradis Je m'en souviendrais toujours mon Paradis avec toute la famille.!!!!!!!!!C'est vrai que les petits enfants ont profité de la piscine ,des jeux des vélos ,pour eux c'était la liberté. Merci et bravo a Monsieur Vilemade , de cette réalisation , de sa gentillesse , et sa discrétion. Je ne dis pas que nous pourrions encore nous réunir dans ce lieu car nous avons passé un moment inoubliable. Je le recommande a mes amis.

Magnifique week-end. J'ai réservé le gîte à l'occasion de mes 50 ans. Ce gîte est plein de charme, il offre toutes les conditions possibles pour une réunion de famille ou entre amis. La pièce principale est superbe avec ses poutres au plafond, sa cheminée et sa grande table ronde !!! La cuisine est plus que bien équipée avec tout l'électroménager souhaité . Tout ce qui est indiqué sur le site en vaisselle est conforme et même certaines choses sont en plus . Les chambres sont toutes personnalisées dans un style différents et donc chacun peut trouver celle qui lui plaît. En plus du linge des salles de bain et du spa, des serviettes sont mises à disposition pour chaque invité sur les lits. Pour les petits, installations dans le jardin et pour les plus grands, même la console ... et oui !!!! Malgré la date (23 et 24 avril), le propriétaire nous avait mis la piscine en route. Malgré 9 degrés dehors nous avons pu nous baigner dans une eau à 27 degrés. Les lits sont faits à l'arrivée et le ménage de fin de séjour inclus, c'est un vrai plus. Tout est pensé pour que chacun puisse se distraire à sa guise. Et le jacuzzi, superbe !!!!!! Je conseille ce gîte à tous ceux qui veulent organiser un moment sympa avec des proches ou des amis, au calme et dans la verdure. Tous mes invités ont été ravis de ce week-end. Alors n'hésitez pas !!!! Idéal pour tout les âges ! Et un grand merci au propriétaire fort sympathique et qui rend service.

Demeure des plus confortables. TOUT y est prévu dans le moindre détail., tant dans les 6 chambres qu’au séjour et à la cuisine. Avoir un spa est plus que génial. . La décoration des chambres, séjour et salle d’eau ainsi que l’extérieur est des plus choisie. La grande table ronde avec plateau tournant est non seulement pratique quand on est nombreux.mais plus conviviale. De surcroît Le Clos de la Bodice est très bien situé pour des ballades à pied, à vélo et pour visiter les Châteaux de la Loire. (Vélos et casques fournis ainsi qu’une Rosalie) Accueil par le propriétaire très chaleureux. Merci Monsieur Villemade Adresse à recommander. Nous y retournerons sûrement.

Nous cherchions un lieu où se retrouver entre amis pour une fois sans nos enfants ! Nous l'avons trouvé ! Ce weekend à 10 a été parfait ! Le gîte a les avantages d'un hôtel avec jacuzzi, peignoirs, lits faits... et la chaleur d'un chez-soi avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et une cheminée... La ballade à vélo a été appréciée par tous. De plus, de multiples châteaux sont à proximité. Le propriétaire est à l'écoute et a pensé à tout ! Merci pour cette petite pause bien agréable !

Un week end de rêve entre amis..!! Depuis des années nous gardons notre tradition à 15 amis, de passer un week end dans un gîte different.. Et bien je peut vous dire que celui ci est de loin le meilleur que nous ayons choisit..!! Un très bel endroit et tellemnt bien équipé.. Nous n'avons jamais vu autant de serviettes de toilettes et d'appareil ménager aussi utiles.. Le spa est sublime et tres appréciable.. Les vélos sont un plus tellemnt agréable..Mille merci à philippe qui a sûr créer de ses mains un endroit merveilleusement accueillant.. J'espère bien revenir..

Le séjour était juste parfait. Bien sûr on a eu le temps avec nous, et ça aide, mais c'était juste magique. Le gîte est super bien équipé, il y a tout jusqu'à la machine à glaçons et au barbecue Weber, serviettes et peignoirs, piscine et jacuzzi. Les chambres sont propres et confortables quand à l'accueil il était sympa également. Rien à y redire, vraiment j'ai beau réfléchir je ne trouve pas :D

Belle surprise organisée par ma Famille, pour fêter mes 60 ans. Un cadre et une maison exceptionnelle, rien ne nous a manqué, tout est au TOP. Soleil au rendez vous, nous avons profité au maximum des activitées extérieur (vélos, ping-pong, piscine+++++++++, barbecue haut de gamme et sans oublier Rosalie....). Belles soirées de détente dans le Spa: GRANDIOSE. Difficile de quitter ce Gîte après un Week-End. Vous pouvez vous y rendre les yeux fermés. Merci à Phillippe VILLEMADE pour son accueil.
