About this house rental

In the heart of a Champagne wine estate, located on the tourist wine route, the Renaissance gite is a comfortable house in a peaceful, wooded park. You will find on the ground floor an equipped kitchen, a dining room, living room, a bathroom with shower, wc and two double bedrooms. Upstairs you can also have 2 bedrooms each containing a double bed and a single bed as well as a toilet and a bathroom on the landing. Household linen is provided upon arrival. For your entertainment, a heated outdoor swimming pool from May 15 to August 31 is available in front of a large terrace adjoining the house. On arrival a bottle of Champagne from the Domaine will be offered to you. We will also ask you for a deposit of 250 euros on arrival which will be returned to you before your departure.

We had a lovely week here in August. The pool was great for the kids and the peace, quiet and lovely wine was great for the adults. The village is a nice setting and also very quiet this time of year but the local town of Bar-sur-Aube had everything we needed. Location is great with the theme park of Nigloland just 15 minutes away and the wonderful town of Troyes also near for a change of scenery. The lakes were just 30mins away too and made a great beach day out. Finally, the champagne was very nice, of course and was the icing on the cake.

A spacious house set among the vineyards of the Champagne region, it has everything you would expect to need, the pool was well used even though the weather was unseasonably cold. Bar is a great place for shopping and also for a walk around and has a lovely market on a Saturday. Sadly we had to leave early due to a family tragedy, but would recommend this place

We had a wonderful time at this property and it exceeded our expectatations! The 4 kids (aged 7 to 13) loved the pool and it was a good size and depth for them. The little one couldnt touch the bottom in the deep bit but there were shallower areas nearby so it was fine. Plenty of shade throughout the day in the garden with lots of different places to sit. AC in the property was helpful on one very hot day The area was very rural and quiet which suited us but a bonus for the kids was the nearby Nigloland theme park, which they loved. The shops in the nearby town were only 10 minutes away. A great property in a lovely area!

We stayed in the house for four days and had a great time! You have all the comforts you need...and some more. You need to have a car because it is a few kilometers from the nerrest town, but in return you get absolute peace and relaxation. We traveled around a lot and were in both Reims, Eperney, Troyes, but also in several wonderfully charming villages around. Nathalie and Gilbert were a wonderful host and couple! They showed us their winery/wine yard and their champagne was really tasty!

The house is owned by a champagne maker, and there are several other champagne sellers within walking distance as well as easy access to the tourist trails, so great location. A short drive to the Local town of Bar-sur-Aube has supermarkets, bakery etc. A big house, lovely sloping grounds, easily accommodated our party of 10.

Gilbert and Natalie are wonderful hosts who left us alone to enjoy our holiday the complimentary champagne was much appreciated. This is a lovely spacious house with plenty of room for 8 adults. The pool and hot tub are great and got plenty of use during our stay. Gilbert and Natalie are wonderful hosts who left us alone to enjoy the holiday, yet were instantly available to attend to a couple of minor issues. The house is located in the heart of Champagne country and is air conditioned for comfort (France was extremely hot this summer) and also has a remote controlled gate for security. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely week in Champagne country and were well looked after by Nathalie and Gilbert who proved to be very attentive. The property proved to be exactly what we were looking for. We were able to visit local places of interest and go on very suitable bike rides. Altogether, a very relaxing week.

We stayed last week in this lovely house. We were a party of two couples and two 21 year olds. The house is perfect and has everything that is needed for a lovely holiday in Champagne. Beautiful little village with lovely views. We have been staying in various places in Champagne for the last 6 years and this one was easily the best. Would highly recommend and we will return next year.

The cottage is just as in the pictures, very spacious (we stayed with 7) and very well equiped. The pool is perfect, it has a deeper end but a shallow end as well (which is very handy for the younger childeren). We loved the hot tub as well. There's more then anough to do in the area, we visited a tree top climbing park, troyes (lovely village) and just enjoyed the surroundings. The nearby village (5 min) has multiple large supermarkets; restaurants etc.). We higly recommend this property for anyone who would like to visit the champagne area!

Superb 4 bedroomed, air conditioned, Champagne property with heated pool and hot tub

The listing describes the property very well. The house was immaculate & many of the facilities brand new at the time of writing this review (July 2016). The views from the kitchen, lounge & bedrooms of the sweeping countryside covered in vines for as far as the eye could see were breathtaking. The heated pool, hot tub, garden, patio & covered seating area were very private & caught the sun all day. The heated pool & hot tub were a delight as was the full air conditioning throughout the house. We did not want for anything in relation to kitchen equipment and with a large supermarket with extended opening hours (E.Leclerc) not 10 minutes away by car we kept our provisions well stocked in the huge fridge. The owners met us for key handover and tour of the property but then totally left us alone to relax and enjoy our stay. We were provided with contact numbers which we used to text one insignificant query. We were answered promptly and our query resolved instantly. After over 30 rentals in France, this was our first gated property with electronic gates - we did feel rather grand. The 2 bedrooms upstairs were very roomy and the bathroom extremely modern. Of the two downstairs bedrooms one, again was extremely roomy and the other more than adequate in size. The ground floor bathroom was huge! The wifi was easy to log on to and our connections with 6 devices held strong during our stay. The lounge area was very large & open plan to the inside dining area & kitchen making it very light and spacious. We didn't use the lounge or inside dining area as the weather was fantastic. The outside, gas fired barbecue grill cooked all of our meals to perfection. The village of Arrentieres has no shops but is a lovely old village for a quiet stroll around and there are many Champagne producers in the village itself. The peel of the church bells was very soothing. A trip to the river at Bar-Sur-Aube is a must. The river is crystal clear and the way the houses on the banks & the island seem to float on glass was amazing. The Tourist Information Office in Bar-Sur-Aube could not be more helpful. There is a huge amount of history regarding the Knights Templar in this region which we found fascinating. Chaumont is perched high on a hill and the three layer viaduct there is an engineering feat not to be missed. Then there is the city of Troyes with its easy to navigate streets and medieval centre. An absolute gem. We highly recommend this property and the area

The house, the pool, location are Perfect. Nathalie and Gilbert are the perfect hosts and if you‘re into champagner you can really learn a lot about it - just visit their both cellars (and try all (!!!) of their Champagners). Definitly recommended!

Très bon accueil des propriétaires avec bouteille de champagne. La propriété est superbe grand terrain sécurisé où les enfants se sont éclatés. Malgré les températures extérieures la piscine chauffée a fait la joie de toute la famille. La maison est parfaite et bien équipée en vaisselle et assez d'espace pour une grande tribu (nous étions 10). Le plus est la mise à disposition de tout le linge de maison draps serviettes torchons et même serviettes de piscine. La situation parfaite pour les activités avec la proximité de Nigloland, abbaye de Clairvaux, musée de la cristallerie et caves de champagne. Je recommande vivement cette location . Martine

Nous avons passé un super Noël (avec un sapin ;-) en famille dans cette agréable maison. Nous étions 5 adultes et 4 enfants entre 4 et 12 ans et c'était parfait ! Nous avons eu un bel accueil par les propriétaires qui était sympathiques.

Nicht kanalisierte Aube, (praktisch) keine WKAs, keine Biogasanlagen oder Funklöcher; stattdessen Wald,Weinbau, Acker, Grünland, Weite und Stille. Ideal zum Radfahren.

Une très agréable maison, bien entretenue et avec tout le nécessaire. Si vous avez une demande, les propriétaires font en sorte d'y répondre rapidement. Ils sont très sympathique. Idéal en famille, le terrain étant bien délimité nos enfants de 5 à 9 ans pouvaient s'y balader librement. Terrasse et piscine de rêve. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison. 👌

Idéal pour profiter du temps. Bouteille de champagne offerte à l’arrivée. Commerçants et supermarchés a 5min de voiture. Troyes a 45minutes.
