About this house rental
In the heart of a Champagne wine estate, located on the tourist wine route, the Renaissance gite is a comfortable house in a peaceful, wooded park. You will find on the ground floor an equipped kitchen, a dining room, living room, a bathroom with shower, wc and two double bedrooms. Upstairs you can also have 2 bedrooms each containing a double bed and a single bed as well as a toilet and a bathroom on the landing. Household linen is provided upon arrival. For your entertainment, a heated outdoor swimming pool from May 15 to August 31 is available in front of a large terrace adjoining the house. On arrival a bottle of Champagne from the Domaine will be offered to you. We will also ask you for a deposit of 250 euros on arrival which will be returned to you before your departure.

We had a lovely week here in August. The pool was great for the kids and the peace, quiet and lovely wine was great for the adults.
The village is a nice setting and also very quiet this time of year but the local town of Bar-sur-Aube had everything we needed.
Location is great with the theme park of Nigloland just 15 minutes away and the wonderful town of Troyes also near for a change of scenery. The lakes were just 30mins away too and made a great beach day out.
Finally, the champagne was very nice, of course and was the icing on the cake.

The cottage is just as in the pictures, very spacious (we stayed with 7) and very well equiped. The pool is perfect, it has a deeper end but a shallow end as well (which is very handy for the younger childeren). We loved the hot tub as well. Theres more then anough to do in the area, we visited a tree top climbing park, troyes (lovely village) and just enjoyed the surroundings. The nearby village (5 min) has multiple large supermarkets; restaurants etc.). We higly recommend this property for anyone who would like to visit the champagne area!
