Halfway between the cottage and the house, this house of 150m² with exposed beams in the Alsatian Vosges offers all amenities for 8 people, summer and winter. Her garden and its panoramic view of the side of the valley and the village make it a friendly place for all seasons. My family enjoyed this house. The owner is nice and gave helpful recommendations for restaurants nearby. The upstairs room is huge and really great: There are lots of options for sleeping on the sofa beds and the pool table was really fun. The beds and sheets were comfortable, the pillows could be replaced. Hand towels are provided. There is no WIFI. There are supermarkets a short drive away. It was nice to eat dinner in the well-maintained garden area.

We rented the place 1 week over new year time. It is a very relax place, perfect if you want to discover some nice local products. The house suited us perfectly, and the upper floor with the pool table is a perfect living place.

We drove up the windy mountain roads to the village of Geishouse. Quaint, beautiful views, and friendly people. Church bells start ringing for the day at 7am. The house is very well maintained and up to date. Amenities and layout are as described with one exception. The shower in the second bathroom in upper loft level is very short - primarily for children. We did loose electricity one day in village, due to storm, and didn't know about fuse box until we found a neighbor to assist. Surrounding area great for all sorts of activities - hiking, wineries, historic villages, etc. Southern Alsace location hampered us a bit requiring more driving than a centrally located Alsace location. We had 5 adults- three generations, so house is good for elderly and all ages. We did not understand about cleaning fee until arrival and did not have cash upon departure to pay. This should be clearly communicated upon rental but typically cleaning would be included, as the house needs to be cleaned prior to next guest. All in all a four star rating!

Gîte très agréable, confortable ; il ne manque rien. Nous vous conseillons d'aller prendre l'apéro au relais du grand ballon à Geishouse, ambiance sympathique assurée.... Propriétaires sympas. Si vous voulez aller à Europa park en allemagne choisissez bien votre journée, sinon bouchon garanti ....plutôt en semaine.
