About this chalet rental
Magnificent Chalet, in Alsace, in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges natural park, in SAINT AMARIN, a small town in southern Alsace. Relaxation room equipped with a private SPA and SAUNA. Very quiet place, many possibilities for walks. Kruth-Wildenstein lake 10km away with possibility of swimming + pedal boat and tree to tree park. Paragliding sites nearby. 3 ski resorts 35 minutes away: La Bresse, Le Markstein, Grand Ballon. Numerous hiking, cycling and mountain biking trails. You can go to the website of the Saint Amarin tourist office where you will also find possible activities and curiosities in the ALSACE region and the VOSGES massif. (Hautes Vosges d'Alsace, Saint Amarin valley). We We accept pets (maximum 2) with a supplement of €30/animal. Electricity is billed at the end of the stay according to actual consumption (around €35/week with SPA and sauna). We take great care in keeping our chalet clean and thank you for leaving it in good condition.

Balloons des vosges is really very beautiful with lots of things to do in the area. We were surprised at how nice it was. The chalet is light, spacious with hot tub and sauna and Michel the owner was really helpful and pleasant. We were there for just one week but would have been happy to stay for two.

Family and friends holiday chosen for its access to the surrounding area and Europa Park. We weren't disappointed with the very comfortable accommodation nor the surrounding area. The Vosges mountains were beautiful at that time of year and we had a fall of snow on the high ground. The local Auberges served lovely local food at good prices. The owners, George and Catherine were friendly and welcoming. The Jacuzzi was a hit with the children. My only criticism was that there was not enough comfortable seating for eight people and paying extra for cleaning and electricity is an annoyance; better to include it in a flat-rate price.
