About this riad rental
Riad for rent exclusively! you benefit from total independence and privacy.
Ideally located in the Riad Zitoun el Kédim district, a stone's throw from the famous Jemaa el Fna square.
The decoration combining modern and traditional.
It consists on the ground floor of a living room with cement tiles on the floor and tadelakt on the wall, bioethanol fireplace, reversible air conditioning, lcd screen & home cinema, satellite tv (tnt france), wifi access, an equipped kitchen and d 'a bathroom and a charming typical patio with fountain planted with a ficus tree.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, each with bathroom and wc. (only one is air conditioned the other has a fan).
Finally the terrace with covered lounge and deckchairs in order to enjoy a sunbath before going to lose yourself in the shaded alleys of the medina.
Seen on the Koutoubia and the atlas.
Parking lots, taxis and horse-drawn carriages are at the door of the riad. a plus that facilitates all your travels, you can access all the tourist sites of the Medina on foot and reach the new city just as easily in the modern Guéliz district

Property is as described and well-equipped. Walking distance to Jemaa el fna square, souks etc. Lovely rooftop terrace. Host Olivier was very responsive. Glad to have had the experience of staying in a riad, however when considering a riad vs hotel there are a couple of things to note. Stairs to bedrooms are quite steep so would not recommend for elderly or mobility-impaired. Riad rooms open into a courtyard which is effectively outdoors. In the winter the temperature gets very cold in the evenings and mornings in Marrakech so be prepared to be exposed to that. Also, there is quite a bit of air pollution in the Medina area. Rooms while clean, are not greatly insulated, and the courtyard is of course exposed. My daughter suffers from a dust allergy and struggled in the environment, so we had to check into a hotel on our final night. That said, I imagine most people would be fine with this and if you’re looking for a riad experience I would definitely recommend this property.

We loved the location- so close to the square! Olivier was a wonderful host who guided us to the location.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans le riad, avec nos 2 enfants âgés de 8 et 10 ans .Nous avons apprécié la propreté et l'agencement typique de l'endroit , très bien situé, proche de tout .On peut compter sur la disponnibilité du loueur .
