"Friends of Tuscany Ltd." manage all aspects of your villa booking with tailored information to get the most from your holiday. We can help to arrange a shopping delivery service, home made meal on arrival, wine tours, children’s activities, wild swimming spots, festivals, events, and restaurant recommendations based on our personal knowledge of the area built up over 30 years.
This is a lovingly restored and well equipped house with a beautiful terraced excluded garden which has a private swimming pool. There is a large living room and kitchen, furnished with interesting period country furniture and 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin rooms, and two bathrooms, sleeping 6 people.
There is a fabulous dining balcony situated off the kitchen.
There is a work out area/ gym in the garden for the guests to use. There's also a ping pong table and an outdoor BBQ/ Oven.
A free wi-fi service is available.
The swimming pool is open from April until the end of September.
The house is in the interesting ancient village of Cardoso, with views of the fine church and over to the Appenine mountains. There is a bar and pizzeria / restaurant in the village and the village is well known for the art exhibition it holds each summer.
The art city of Lucca is only 30 minutes drive from Cardoso, and in the other direction the beautiful Garfagnana with its national parks is also only 30 minutes drive.

Garfagnana is 'Hidden Tuscany' at its best. With its' stunning scenery it is the best area in Tuscany for walking and outdoor activities.
Friends of Tuscany are the oldest agency in the area, and we have close ties with an Outdoor Activities company who offer many international class adventures.
We can also help you arrange Art classes with a well known artist, excursions to the Cinque Terre, Florence and Lucca, visits to vineyards, historical guided tours to Florence and Lucca, and Italian cooking lessons.
