About this house rental

Located in the village of Saint Privat des Vieux, in the Gard, the house will offer you all the necessary interior comfort and will allow you, thanks to its garden, its private swimming pool, its barbecue, the shade of its olive trees, to spend a peaceful holiday, quiet with family and / or friends.

The Gard department will seduce you with the diversity of its landscapes; the Cévennes, kingdom of the chestnut and land of revolt of the Camisards, the Gorges du Gardon and the garrigue, near Nîmes, with their limestone rocks and their particular vegetation where the Green Oak reigns and why not, a little further south, nestled against the beaches of the coast, the small Camargue, land of land and water.

The property was everything it is described to be! Beautiful, clean and cosy with everything you need (except towels so bring those!). The location is beautiful and there is a little shop down the road with friendly English speaking staff (very little English). This villa would be perfect for people wanting a quiet week away surrounded by vineyards in a properly French village like you see in films! It would be suited to people who perhaps like walking if not, I would recommend hiring a car as it is very remote and the taxi company's do not speak English making it very difficult to book one! Ales is 5 minutes away and is very pretty, if you wanted a place a little bigger with more to do Nimes is 30 minutes away and is a lovely town. We booked for the week as we had a friends wedding and it was absolutely perfect for a quiet week away in the South of France!
