Everything here is just perfect! You just have to keep the location in mind when booking—then it really is a little piece of paradise! The bungalows, the pool, the food—simply amazing! And thanks to Martin, we had an unforgettable boat tour into the sunrise. Highly recommended! And for parents with teens, the Wi-Fi is also very good .

Not really a drawback, but definitely something to be aware of: noise. The rooms have fairly thin walls, and the surrounding environment comes with plenty of animal sounds. On the other hand, that also adds to the feeling of truly being in the middle of nowhere.

Martin and Vi exceptional welcoming hosts, to their lovely lush tropical property and orchards. A true Vietnamese rural experience away from tourists and maddening crowds ,ensuring we slowed down. We biked daily around the local villages, dropping off at wayside family businesses for a welcome beer, then returning to cool down in the glorious huge clean pool. Motor bikes also available if you have an international licence. A wonderful highlight was Martin’s amazing sunrise speedboat ride to the floating markets, which will be forever in our memories. We had breakfast and dinner each day, which was huge and so yummy. Our gorgeous bamboo bungalow was large ,however double bed and pillows both hard and sheet too small. A huge outside balcony wrapped around the bungalow with beautiful rooftop sitting area. Our huge outdoor bathroom a lovely addition built in blue stone, however outdated and very slippery when wet. Thank you so much Martin and Vi for such a memorable stay which has been a highlight of our trip.

The food is good, and the staff are friendly and cheerful.

There are no shutters in the rooms, so light comes in. He offers a dinner for over $12 for one starter (rice soup) and a main course. He doesn’t force it on us, but there’s nothing else around, so it’s pretty much the same thing… even if it was good, it would cost four times less in town. Same goes for his monopoly on boat tours; he charges over $60 for them. The Google Maps location isn't marked clearly, which made me waste time and pay more than I should have for the taxi. I got yelled at by the owner because I came back at 9 p.m., even though there was never any mention of a “curfew.” Breakfast is at 8 a.m., and that’s non-negotiable. I find it a bit outrageous to impose these schedules on us just because it suits the owner. The photo with the pool doesn’t represent the lodge at all; it’s much less appealing than it looks. The mosquito repellent isn't free, even though there are tons of mosquitoes. All the guests are German, and the owner speaks only German at the table, even though he “insisted” that the other guests speak English. In short, I was happy to come, but even happier to leave.
