Maui temperatures seem to keep going up so please note Kama'ole Sands 1-405 has a "three zone split air conditioning system". When the trade winds aren't blowing, you'll be glad 1-405 will be a cool place for you to recharge for the next day!
So, Kama'ole Sands. This is a great resort in a great area; and it's across the street from one of Maui's best beaches. If you are looking for a beach resort to create Maui memories, this is the place.
Yes, the picture of the courtyard and ocean was taken from the 4th floor lanai of our building one Hawaiian retreat. The view of the fountains, gardens and ocean is spectacular from our relaxing vacation home.
Once you visit this beautiful complex you will see why we emphasize the building one location. Close to everything in the complex, but far enough away to not hear the beach traffic.
Little extras make for better memories. Our assigned parking is in front of our building, many are not. Building one is conveniently located near the administration building, tennis courts and barbecue area. Oh yes, we are just seconds away from the pool area but not so close that you'll hear the noise.
Our Hawaiian home comes furnished.* We have a full size washer and dryer, a queen bed and bathroom on the main floor, a king bed and bathroom in the loft area and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room along with TV's in the loft, main floor bedroom and a new (Dec. 2023) TV in the living room.

*Condo comes with starter supplies of paper supplies, trash bags etc.

Our family was very satisfied with our stay this trip. We have come to Kamaole Sands two previous times and this unit has been the best by far. Everything was in great shape. The cleanliness was excellent. The extra large balcony and phenomenal view of the grounds and ocean was a bonus. They also had 6 beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, a wagon and buckets and shovels. We would definitely come back.

The Condo was great - it was clean, well appointed (although we didn't use any of the kitchen appliances as we went out to eat all meals) there appeared to be all the things one would need to prepare meals for their family. The designated parking space was great as well. The host was extremely responsive and gave me wonderful suggestions on places to visit as well as restaurants.I highly recommend this unit.

We have always stayed at KS and this unit had the best view by far. Kitchen well equipped, beds very comfortable, and all the beach gear supplied. Our host was quick to respond to all my questions. Thank you for everything! Looking forward to our next visit, Mahalo!

Great friendly responsive host, great location within the complex and within Kihei. Walking distance to beaches parks restaurants etc. nice complex with beautiful grounds and large pool and bbq pits and tennis and pickleball courts. Would stay here again.
