Beautiful house for 8 people, heated pool May to September, sauna, garden.

The property is very well located, with a fantastic swimming pool. Philippe was always quick to respond to anything we needed which made us feel comfortable. He is a very nice person and is always keen to accommodate whatever we needed.We felt the cleaning of the property could have been much better, along with overall maintenance of the property.The property is generally quite tired.We have some constructive suggestions which we believe would bring about improvement, as follows:1.A hand rail for entering and exiting the swimming pool would make this much safer.2.Door locks should be installed on utility and storage areas as a safeguard for children.3.Locks or retarders on windows would improve the safety for children..4. Replacement mosquito nets on windows are required.These were either missing,damaged or unable to be secured.5. Some external dining chairs and sunloungers appreared to be unsafe and need replacing.6. The garden needs to be looked after, as lawns and trees needed to be managed in a far better way. It was generally untidy.7. The balcony area needs to be replaced as it did not seem very safe to us. We were told that only a maximum of 2 people could walk on it due to water damage and temporary repairs!These are not real criticisms, as we recognise the property is old and has French charm etc .We believe the suggestions we have made could and should be resolved to bring about an improvement for the property..

Old rustic property with everything needed for your stay… owner very helpful and provided extra cot very friendly and a beautiful town …

This is an older style house with a newer rear extension that has had some upgrades but still in need of a lot of renovation. Many items are broken or not working. The kitchen was full of other people's items and stank!! The pool was good but needed cleaning every day.

The pool is lovely, a good size and location. The shower/toilet/sauna is great. The pool is well kitted out with floats etc. The house is in need of decorating and repair. There are several things that need fixing (door handles, gas ring, cracked glass, unstable bannister, jacuzzi bath not working) and decorating (peeling paint on the ceiling) which was disappointing. Vergt is alot quieter than the reviews suggest which with 3 older teens was a shame for independence. Phillipe was very amenable and came over when asked. We had a relaxing break.
