In a green setting, pretty farm (producing walnuts and strawberries), swimming pool

We had the most incredible stay with Franck at La Sicardie. 7 nights, it is deep in the Dordogne countryside but also within a couple of hours drive to Bordeaux, Bergerac, Perigeaux and all the incredible cave systems that litter the area.Our accommodation was perfect, exactly as described, lots of space for the kids to run around, meet the donkeys and generally have a wonderful summer. Franck and his family are delightful hosts, warm, kind and most generous! We had everything we could possibly want, and more . The pool is a stunning and most welcome feature as well.Thank you Franck, Merci a vous Franck, hope you enjoy as much as we did! I hope we will be back!

The place is beautiful, nestled in a quiet area surrounded by forests, wheat fields and a small strawberry farm. It is a great pied-à-terre to visit the Dordogne region. Kids loved the pool, and adults enjoyed the nice outdoor patio to barbecue and relax.Franck is a lovely host. A really nice week!

Fantastic property, remote, peaceful great location with everything you need within easy commute. Pool was fab. Franck was incredibly helpful and was available for any questions. We loved the property and would stay here again definitely. Thank you Franck

We had an amazing time at the gite with our 13 and 11 year old children. The space was amazing, loads of room, lovely pool with a lovely shaded outdoor dining area to kick back at the end of the day with a BBQ. The location is brilliant for discovering Perigeux, local markets and villages and canoeing. Franke ensured we were really well looked after and was the perfect host. We had lots of laughs and interesting conversations. Would highly recommend for a family holiday or a trip with the friends. The photos don't do it justice! Highly recommended!
