We absolutely loved this house/duplex! The location was great and directly on the ocean. The rooms were bright and airy and felt very "modern coastal". The whole house was clean including the outdoor shower which is amazing, as usually they are dingy or dank. Not at Bass East - it was spacious and super clean!! Plenty of linens, spares, good closet space, generous provision of kitchen necessities and paper products.
Small complaint - the beds were very hard. That said we have vacationed at various rentals on NC beaches for years, and this was our favorite by far.

Spacious, clean and right on the water. Will stay there again. First stay on Emerald Island. Love the beach and bike trails.

We loved this house. It looked like it had been recently been renovated and was in great shape. There was a good amount of kitchen items. One big problem that we had was that a crew started regravelling our driveway during the week. Both the management company and the owner feigned ignorance. Otherwise, everything else was excellent and we would recommend this location.
