Luxurious Chalet located on the Domain of La Plagne Montalbert, a family ski resort. Completely renovated this year, this chalet can accommodate comfortably 12 to 16 people. With 6 bedrooms (including a bedroom dedicated to kids), 3 bathrooms, 3 WC (2 independents), a sauna, a fireplace, under floor heating, flat TV screen, .... This luxurious chalet is located at 300m from the ski slopes and 2km from the town center of La Plagne Montalbert. You will be able to come back by ski directly to the chalet and to enjoy the fantastic 180° view from one of the 2 terrasses.

Lovely chalet with all amenities. Franck was very accommodating and easy to deal with and answered any questions. Had a variety of different games and equipment. Will definitely book again

Info for future guests: It’s a short (<10min) walk to the slopes, and from there you ski down to Montalbert to get the skilift. Restaurant Le Forperet, near the chalet, had great staff, food, drinks and offered a free pickup and dropoff if you pre-book dinner– highly recommend. The walk from Montalbert to the chalet is a tough 40 minute up-hill walk, so I would advise a car (only a 5min drive). A warning for those visiting in winter for skiing – traffic was really bad, partic from Lyon airport (Geneva wasn’t so bad).

We spent a week's skiing vacation with four families with children in the house. The house is equipped with everything you need. The kitchen also has everything you need. The attic room is perfect for the children. The location with a view of the mountains is fantastic. The way to the slopes takes 5 minutes and you can ski back. The owner is a very kind man and engaged. If there is a problem, he reacts immediately and solves it personally!

Chalet is in fantastic location only 5 min from slopes and you can ski back. Amazing views of the mountains and inside it 8s beautifully furnished. Ce chalet est tout simplement incroyable,les baies vitrées sur tout le contour du chalet vous donne une vue à couper le souffle du matin au soir,le confort ainsi que l’espace à l’intérieur son à la hauteur de toute nos attentes. C’est déjà la 2 eme fois que nous louons ce chalet et nous ne somme jamais déçu. Je pourrais vous faire un listing de tout ce qui est génial dans ce chalet mais je vais m’arrêter là sinon il n’y aura plus de place pour que je puisse le louer

Un chalet idéal pour passer une semaine de vacances en famille. Nous étions 15, grands parents, enfants et petits enfants durant la semaine de Noël 2018. C'était superbe, petits et grands gardons un souvenir ébloui. Le chalet est très confort, aménagé avec gout et sobriété, la vue magnifique, l'accès très facile pour rejoindre les pistes. All of us enjoyed the chalet very much. We had a wonderful week with a lot of snow. Everyone was amazed by this beautiful, lovely place. Everything was available we didn't miss anything. This week will definitely remain in everyones memory. Everything was found as promised by the advertisement. It was easy to get to the slopes. Malgré des conditions de neige tres moyennes dans la station, nous avons pu pleinement profiter du Chalet! Fonctionnalité, décoration très soignée, les prestations sont largement à la hauteur de ce qui est annoncé. Je recommande vivement!!!

Nous avons organiser un séminaire d'entreprise de 3 jours au Chalet Papa Jo, et tout c'est parfaitement passé! Le chalet est splendide et bénéficie d'une exposition et d'un emplacement exceptionnel. La terrasse est exposée sud ouest du coup le couché de soleil avec la vue sur les montagne est super. Tout est simple: les pistes sont sont à 300m à pied, un restaurant d'altitude se situe à environ 500m, et le centre de Montalbert est à 3 minutes en voiture. Nous étions 15 adultes et nous nous sommes pas sentis à l'étroit car le chalet est grand et notamment la pièce à vivre! Nous recommandons vivement ce chalet et son propriétaire qui est très disponible et qui n’hésite pas a conseiller pour les bons plans sur place. Thomas

We had a wonderful journey in chalet Papa Jo in Montalbert. The chalet is quite big for a large family. Rooms and beds are perfect. The living room has a lot of space and is cosy with a spectacular view. A nice big, sunny terrace is an advantage. You can park your car in front of the garage. A lot of space for childeren to play outside safely. The slopes are only 5 min away and with enough snow you can ski into the garage ;-). We hope our iglo will still exist when we come back next year !!!

Nous avons passé un excellent sejour au sein de ce chalet. La pièce de vie est tes agréable avec ces 1 salons et le babyfoot. Nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse en déjeunant en plein soleil au mois de décembre, un régal. Le sauna est très agréable apres de belles balades.

Nous avons séjourné a 5 familles avec 8 enfants. L'espace était suffisant et l'espace de vie bien pensé avec un grand salon et un coin suffisamment grand pour les enfants. Au milieu un babyfoot qui a ravi petits et grands. Nous avons eu peu de neige mais nous ne nous sommes pas ennuyés et avons même profité de la terrasse pour déjeuner dehors fin décembre. Je remercie également le propriétaire pour son accueil et conseils.

Très beau chalet en excellent état et très bien situé en pleine nature avec une vue magnifique. Avons passé un excellent séjour en famille (10 adultes + 6 enfants). Beaucoup de points forts : chalet spacieux et très bien entretenu, très belle terrasse, proche des pistes, salle commune très lumineuse, bien dimensionné en salle de bain, WC et rangement matériel de ski, déco sympa. Grands et petits ont beaucoup apprécié. Sans oublier un propriétaire sympathique et à l'écoute. Nous reviendrons...

Nous revenons de notre séjour passé au chalet Papa Jo enchanté... Notre équipe de 6 adultes et 6 enfants a véritablement adopté le mode de vie "Au chalet sous la neige" le temps d'une semaine. Le chalet a été entièrement rénové avec goût et dans l'esprit bois qui lui confère un aspect très authentique. De plus le découpage des pièces a été très bien pensé pour faciliter la vie des amateurs de glisse avec un sas très pratique pour s'équiper ou faire sécher sa panoplie de skieur. Les pièces à vivre sont très spacieuses et donnent toute sur une vue splendide opportunément orientée au soleil. Le sauna, la cheminée, le babyfoot design ou la salle de jeux auront su enthousiasmer tour à tour chacun des membres de l'équipe et auront largement contribué à l'esprit de vacances en famille que nous étions venu chercher à Montalbert. Au final, nous ne pouvons que recommander ce chalet que nous retrouverons certainement avec plaisir dans les années à venir.

Beautiful spacious chalet in a friendly resort

We spent New Year in chalet Papa Jo with 4 families of 4, the chalet absorbed all of us easily as the living areas are huge and there are plently of bedrooms and a brilliant mezzanine floor for the kids which can be shut off from the living area so they can go to sleep without being disturbed by the adults. The chalet is beautifully designed and decorated with the most wonderful views across the mountains. It's possible to ski back to the chalet if there is enough snow and you don't mind plunging off the side of the piste but to get to the piste in the morning you need to walk for 5 mins with your skis or jump in the car and head up to the car park at the top of the chair (a good way of avoiding the morning queues down in the resort). Mont Albert is a lovely little resort compared to it's ugly high rise neighbours but links into all the fabulous skiing of La Plagne. When they build the new life from Mont Albert to La Plagne centre it will be even better as the pistes to and from La Plagne can get a bit busy at the beginning and end of the day. Franck, the owner, was incredibly helpful and welcoming as was the agency in the village and the ski shop recommended by Franck where Papa Jo guests get a discount.

Magnifique et spacieux chalet, très bien équipé à 5mn à pied de la première remontée... Sublime vue, exposition plein soleil...Simple et jolie décoration... Nous étions 4 familles de 4, tous bien installés, pas du tout les uns sur les autres, chacun avait son espace... Nous nous sommes régalés... Les enfants veulent déjà que l'on réserve pour l'année prochaine ! Un propriétaire à l'écoute... Bref, une très belle semaine de ski ! On reviendra !

Immense et magnifique Chalet! Prestations très haute de gamme et vue à couper le souffle. Le chalet est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et de subtilité. Il est tellement agréable qu'on en oublierait presque d'aller skier! Nous recommandons sans hésiter!
