About this apartment rental

This cottage was renovated in 2013 with noble materials and old, largely found on site. He is very well equipped.

The living room is spacious (40 m²). It has a seating area with a sofa bed and a kitchen and dining area. The bedroom with double bed communicates directly with the bathroom with Italian shower. The small courtyard and its garden furniture will allow you to fully enjoy the clemency of the Gard climate. And during periods of heat wave, you will spend peaceful nights in the freshness of a naturally air-conditioned housing with its stone vaults.

Located in a quiet hamlet, close to La Roque sur Cèze and waterfalls Sautadet (5 km), this cottage will allow you to spend an exotic stay and visit the most beautiful sites in the region:
- Pont du Gard 35 km away
- Uzès 25 km away
- Gorges de l'Ardèche 25 km away
- Avignon 40 km away
- Nimes at 50 km.

A small wild beach nearby (10 min walk) will offer you picnic nights swimming away from the crowds.

+++ Appearance: cosy and very valuable to recover from stress +++ Utilization: easy and all required equipment is available +++ People: pleasant, courteous and friendly owner, great tipps for trips and visits +++ Environment: a wonderful country side with access to many nice places +++ Self sufficiency: Great access to grocery (supermarkets) wineries, butchers, cheese makers... We enjoyed a wonderful time during the 2 weeks we have stayed in this house. We can recommend it!

This is a beautifully renovated and furnished building in a quiet village with easy access to the river, and to sites along the Rhone Valley and the Gard region. The apartment was well equipped - we lacked for nothing - and extremely comfortable. The village is tiny, with no shops, but there are plenty of facilities in the nearby town (good bakeries and a market). The family were extremely helpful and had plenty of ideas of places to visit. The outside space is small so may not suit a younger child but it is perfect for a couple or older child (our 12 year old daughter particularly loved the WiFi). Recommended for a couple of couple with one older child.

This charming property is outstanding! A superbly and creatively restored 17th century space in a quiet country location. Attractively furnished and complete with modern appliances. We lacked nothing, liking it so much that we could have moved in permanently and will definitely plan to visit again.

We spent our Xmas holidays here and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the gite and the surrounding countryside. When we arrived, the owners (who are very friendly and helpful) greeted us with a bottle of wine produced locally and made us feel very welcome, with lots of suggestions of where to visit to get the best out of our holiday. The gite is well decorated, with good quality furnishings, and above all, a very good shower and a comfortable bed. Our dog particularly enjoyed laying in front of the wood-burning stove in the lounge area. The area is full of interesting villages to visit and is good for walkers. Would we recommend this property to our friends ? Yes, definitely.

We had a good time in this apartment, it is beautiful and very well equipped. We had the best sleep since ever due to its cool climate and the quiet neighborhood. Consider that it is not very bright inside which does not matter since one is usually away during the day. The landlords Sandra and Laurent gave us a very warm welcome. So it is definitely a place to return to.

We had a great family vacation in this apartment. The apartment is beautiful, very well equipped and spacious. We stayed there with our children, who had a great time exploring the area and playing with Laurent and Sandra's children. Laurent and Sandra provided us with invaluable insider's tips on what to visit (Avignon and Uzes, but also places more off the beaten tourist tracks). Definitely a place to return to.

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal dort, da uns das erste Mal sehr gut gefallen hat. Die Vermieter sind super nett und hilfsbereit und haben tolle Tips für Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung! Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich und super ausgestattet und man hat alles für einen schönen entspannten Urlaub bereits vor Ort. Bei uns wird es sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein, dass wir dort waren. Immer wieder gerne!

un petit village très calme, comme annoncé dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de petit commerce type épicerie. il faut marcher 10mn pour se baigner a la rivière, pas beaucoup de profondeur mais on peut se rafraichir et la petite plage de galet est propre. le gite est nickel le couchage au top et la douche a l'italienne bien sympa. le reseau internet un peut faible . je recommande

Un super séjour pour nous, qui souhaitions nous ressourcer au calme. Les alentours sont très paisible, la rivière un petit coin très agréable, idéal avec des enfants en bas âge. Laurent en Sandra zijn Bijzonder aardig. Olaf de hond was gelijk goede vrienden met onze Engelse Springer. Rivier de ceze met rustige , vaak was er niemand anders, strandjes op korte loopafstand. Wij hebben bijna 2 weken genoten van deze plek. Prachtige omgeving met veel lokale producten. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Selten so nette/tolle Gastgeber erlebt war einfach ein Traum. Die Umgebung/Landschaft ist der Hammer super zum Wandern mit Hund. Wir kommen gerne wieder nur vielleicht etwas länger da 3 Tage etwas knapp sind um alles in der Nähe anzuschauen.
