This cottage, created in 2014, near the landing beaches and the sea offers an unobstructed view of the marsh, with a wooden terrace facing south / southwest over an enclosed garden. Located 100m from the beach, 1km from the Quinéville seaside resort where you can find all the essential shops, as well as restaurants, a cookie and the World War II museum.

Particularity of this coast: the only one in France where the sun rises over the sea and in the evening there are very beautiful moonrises.

TOURISM: In addition to the historic sites of the coast, you will enjoy discovering its many small ports such as Barfleur and Saint Vaast la Hougue whose Vauban tower is classified as a UNESCO heritage site. You will appreciate the pretty port city of Cherbourg and can visit the city of the sea and the submarine the Redoutable.

This cottage, created in 2014, near the landing beaches and the sea offers an unobstructed view of the marsh, with a wooden terrace facing south / southwest over an enclosed garden. We had a very good stay for visiting the WWII sites. The gite/house was funished well, some older pieces, but ok. The most we did in the house was sleeping, and the beds were good. Also the landlady gave good informations about the surroudings at check-in. And also that if we had further questions we could ask her. The stay was OK.

Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und jederzeit erreichbar und im Notfall auch innerhalb einer halben Stunde beim Ferienhaus. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber (auch der Backofen :-)) Die Betten sind sehr bequem und wie es in Frankreich üblich ist, gibt es im Doppelbett eine große Zudecke. Wer sich abends gerne auf der Couch in eine Decke einkuschelt, muss sich allerdings selbst eine mitbringen. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden. Besonders super fanden wir, dass es nicht nur im Obergeschoss ein Duschbad mit WC gab, sondern zusätzlich noch im Erdgeschoss eine Toilette. Der Ausblick von der Terasse in die grüne Landschaft ist wunderschön und auch den Hunden hat der große Garten gut gefallen. Bei der Terasse gibt es einen Sichtschutz zu den benachbarten Feriengästen, der Rest ist wahrscheinlich wegen des Ausblicks nur mit einem Drahtzaun eingezäunt. Obwohl das Ferienhaus eine Doppelhaushälfte ist, haben wir im Haus absolut nichts von den anderen Mietern gehört. Die ganze Familie hat sich wirklich sehr wohl in diesem Ferienhaus gefühlt und wenn man gut erzogene Hunde hat, dann kann man die Unterkunft bestens weiterempfehlen. Kurz gesagt: TOP!

L’accueil de notre hôtesse a été très bon, ainsi que toute l'organisation pour notre arriver. Le gite est neuf et bien équipé. Les deux salles de bain sont très pratique à l'effectif maximum! L'environnement est TRÈS calme (fin février 2022) et la proximité de la mer un vraie plaisir (200m). Tout petit axe d’amélioration en ce qui concerne les sommiers des lits en 140 (un peu petit et frêle pour rugbyman de 100kg). Sinon un très bon séjour. Merci.

Maison agréable et bien située

La maison est très agréable et très bien située (100 m d une plage immense convenant parfaitement à de jeunes enfants) à proximité de Saint Vaast et de Tatihou. L annonce ne stipule pas cependant qu elle est mitoyenne avec une autre appartenant à la même propriétaire. L entrée dans la maison s est faite tardivement compte tenu du retard de la propriétaire qui faisait ses courses et du même horaire (17h) donné aux deux locataires. Or, la supérette la plus proche ferme à 19h. Impossible donc de profiter un peu de la plage si l on veut faire les quelques courses indispensables à l arrivée d autant qu il n y a absolument rien dans la cuisine (sel,sucre...) Pas une seule pastille non plus pour le lave-vaisselle ! La terrasse est bien orientée et très agréable le soir mais le salon de jardin est un peu vétuste (une nappe ou des sets de table seraient donc appréciables) et il manque un ou deux transats qu on trouve ordinairement dans les locations estivales. La propriétaire n est pas très réactive (trois jours pour répondre à une question) et vous demande de balayer la maison avant votre départ bien que vous ayez pris l option ménage ! En résumé une location agréable mais avec certaines prestations qui pourraient être améliorées pour le confort des locataires

Das Haus liegt an einer ruhigen Strasse. Zum Kochen ist alles an Geräten vorhanden. Die Betten waren gut und herrliche Duschen. Was wir vermisst haben, sind einige Taps für die Spülmaschine und wenigstens ausreichend Toilettenpapier für den Anfang. Es wäre auch schön, wenn einige Gartenliegen vorhanden wären. Leider ist das Haus sehr hellhörig. Wir haben uns zu dritt damit ganz gut arrangiert. Roswitha Volquardsen

Praktisches und komfortables Ferienhaus

Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und einem Hund für 2 Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus und haben es sehr genossen. Das Haus ist modern, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Das Meer ist zu Fuß in 3 Minuten erreichbar, Es verfügt über eine gut ausgestattete Küche, 2 Duschbäder und 2 Toiletten, eine Waschmaschine. Der Garten ist nur eine nackte Rasenfläche, aber eingezäunt und man kann den Blick ins Grüne schweifen lassen, wirklich toll. Es gibt 3 Schlafräume im OG, das Haus ist sehr hellhörig! Wir haben nur kleine Kritikpunkte: es gibt eine gute Couch, aber die zweite Couch ist nicht nutzbar, da vollkommen durchgesessen. Einige Ausstattu gsgegenstände sind von sehr einfacher Qualität, z.B. gab es kein Schneidebrett und die Messer schneiden alle schlecht. Und einige nicht so offensichtliche Sachen wie z.B. der Abzug im Bad und in der Küche müssten mal gereinigt werden. Insgesamt ist das Haus jedoch zu empfehlen!

Que dire de notre séjour...Nous avons passé de magnifique vacances dans ce gîte. Franchement il n'y a rien a redire, un maison au top, un environnement superbe et au calme. Nos enfants ne voulaient pas partir. Une propriétaire géniale, qui nous a super bien accueillie et qui nous a informé de tout ce qu'il y avait a faire dans le coin. D'ailleurs nous pensons vraiment y refaire un petit séjour.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in unserem Ferienhaus. Es ist zwar etwas hellhörig, aber wenn man als Familie fährt ist dies akzeptabel. An Küchengeräten und Geschirr ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Betten haben gute Matratzen und durch Verdunkelungsrollos der Dachfenster im 1. Stock ,war die Temperatur der Räume ( Schlafzimmer) sehr angenehm. Die Einrichtung des Hauses war bequem und Zeitgemäß. In einem separaten Raum stand ein sauberer Grill ,Sonnenschirm, Wäscheständer, Staubsauger und Bügelbrett . Die Badezimmer sind schön eingerichtet und haben tolle Duschkabinen. Die Sonnenterrasse mit Blick auf die Landschaft lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Vermieterin Amelie Chatin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen .Dank Translate App konnten wir uns gut verständigen, da wir kein französisch und sie kein deutsch spricht. Hervorheben möchten wir nochmal die Sauberkeit des Hauses. Für dieses Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis vergeben wir 5 Sterne.

Le séjour fût agréable. La maison est très pratique. Le jardin n'avait pas été tondu (herbes hautes avec des chardons). Le jardinier est arrivé le matin de notre départ. Attention, aux frais annexes comme les prêts de draps, et les frais de nettoyage. Si vous décidez d'effectuer vous même le nettoyage de fin de séjour, la propriétaire peut être très pointilleuse même pour un séjour de 3 nuits (nettoyage des fenêtres par exemple...). Finalement, vous passez plus de temps à nettoyer la maison plutôt que de profiter de votre week end.
