Maurice and his wife were very sweet. They left us some of their eggs, cherry tomatoes, honey and honey butter. We bought more eggs and honey they were so good. If you want a break from a too busy lifestyle, this is your place. I would love to come back sometime.

Beautiful peaceful setting

This property is very large, comfortable and well equipped and is portrayed very accurately in the photos. It is set in the most beautiful countryside, so quiet and peaceful. We spent a lovely week there and would recommend it if you want to get away from it all. The weather was fantastic so we spent 3 days at a local lake, about half an hour away. We also went to the river at Chiny and Orval in Belgium which is very attractive. Maurice, the owner, was very friendly bringing us eggs and showing us his other animals. It would be a great place for children too as there are lots of games for them and the animals to look at. Thoroughly recommend it!

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door Maurice en echtgenote. Charmante , propere woning met alle voorzieningen. Rustig gelegen met mooi uitzicht. Prachtige wandelingen, mtb tocht in de buurt. Bakker en supermarkg in de nabije dorpen (8-10km). Mooie attentie bij ontvangst en zelfs een mooi stuk vers geschoten everzwijn! Wij komen zeker terug

We had a lovely week at the property. It's fantastic for kids with lots of games and toys. They also loved the animals and Maurice the owner was kind enough to take them into the field to visit the sheep and pick his home grown plums and cherries. There was a great child friendly swimming spot at Chiny and in Douzy. Plus we also enjoyed a visit to Reims, Orval Monastery and Verdun. A great location for a relaxed break.

Very warm welcome from our hosts, clean, well furnished and well equipped spacious property with cosy wood-burning stove for chilly evenings. Delightful rural situation with pleasant views from the balcony which included our hosts collection of sheep, ducks, hens and more. We enjoyed the beautiful Ardennes scenery, and the kindness of our host in taking us on a trip which included the Maginot Line and other defensive positions of WW2, and his recommendations for other places of interest.

Can’t thank Maurice and Monique enough. They made my kids happy!!! My two favourite French people. The accommodation is lovely, spacious and clean.there is a town with all the amenities 10 min away. There is go karting and a cinema too. A beautiful view and a river where you can fish and even swim. I extrongñy reccommend this property!!!

Maurice and Monique are truly thoughtful, welcoming hosts. Autreville St Lambert is 8 km from the interesting medieval town of Mouzon, which has a beautiful riverside walk along the Meuse. Other places well worth a visit are Lac de Bairon at Le Chesne , 36 km via the scenic D30 and the interesting war memorials at Stonne, Charleville-Mézières (44 km) with its impressive town square and the attractive marina area at Stenay (11km). Lots of picturesque roads wending their way through pretty villages in gently rolling countryside.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable grâce à la gentillesse, à la prévenance des propriétaires toujours bien attentionnés et soucieux de répondre à notre demande. Le gîte est agréable, fonctionnel, très propre et se situe dans un petit village charmant entouré d'une belle campagne et de nombreux sites à visiter. Das Haus liegt klasse mitten im Nichts, Ruhe hat man. Maurice und seine Frau sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind praktisch und der Wohn und Küchenbereich prima für 7 Leute zu nutzen und hat einen Kamien, auch der Außenbereich mit Grill Sitz und Liegemöglichkeit ist prima. Einkaufen kann man gut in Stenay, das Biermuseum sollte man besuchen. Alles in allem eine tolle Zeit.

Wij zijn met onze twee kinderen 17 en 7 jaar hier een week geweest. We kregen een welkomstcadeau. Fles wijn, verse eieren en bonbons. Mensen zijn heel vriendelijk. Mijn man heeft zelfs nog stukken gekregen van opgravingen uit de 1e Wereldoorlog. Huis is ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Veel speelgoed voor kinderen. Omgeving is erg rustig. Wij vonden dat juist heerlijk!!! Binnen 10 minuten ben je bij een supermarkt. Wij gaan zeer zeker nog eens terug om lekker te onthaasten. Met vriendelijke groet, Familie Anthonissen

tres jolie maison, propretiares tres gentiles et genereux! Villes avec supermarches, boulangers proche, Stenay et joli restaurant la et a Carignan. Zone blanche donc pas beaucoup de reseau, mais tres tres bien pour vacance de calme et de reposer. Et plusieurs joli visites dans le region. Musee de la biere a Stenay tres interessant. Merci aux propretiares pour tous, le vin, jus d'orange, oeufs, viande salade! Trop gaté!

Sehr nette, freundliche Vermieter, die uns mit einem kleinen Willkommensgruß herzlich aufgenommen haben! Die Unterkunft ist für 4 Personen sehr großzügig - möglich sind bis 8 Personen. Wir lieben alte/ehem. Bauernhäuser, daher waren wir hier sehr gut untergebracht. Für Familien mit Kindern ist es hier wunderschön, da Tiere vorhanden sind und es sehr ruhig liegt. Kultur/Besichtigungen bedeuten jedoch immer Anfahrt, meist jedoch moderate Entfernungen. Zum Wandern oder Radfahren ist es hier optimal! Vielen Dank! Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit!

Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und absolut sauber. Das Haus und die Einrichtung ist hübscher als auf den Fotos. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind superbequem. Die Lage in einem kleinen urigen Dorf ist romantisch und kaum befahren. Es is keine größere Straße sichtbar oder hörbar. Die Kinder konnten draußen Skateboard fahren und Spazierengehen mit dem Hund war ein Vergnügen. Vor dem Wohnzimmer/Wohnküche aus gelangt man auf einen großen Balkon, von dem aus eine Holztreppe in den Garten hinunterführt. Vom Balkon aus, bzw von Wohn/Küchenraum aus blickt man auf ein kleines Bauernidyll mit einem Gemüsegarten, ein paar Schafen, Hühnern, Tauben, Gänsen, Enten und Kühen, welches den Hausbesitzern gehört, die im Nebenhaus wohnen. Der Garten selbst ist vollständig eingezäunt und bietet eine Grasfläche/eine Teerfläche (genug um ein bisschen Skateboard zu fahren)/einen Basketballkorb- Bälle vorhanden/ eine Schaukel. Die Räume im Erdgeschoss bieten noch eine Tischtennisplatte und einen Tischkicker. Für Kinder wirklich perfekt. Alles war ausgesprochen sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieter hatten alle Anfragen , die ich per mail im Vorhinein schickte (ich hatte z.B. Bettwäsche dazu gebucht) innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet. Sie waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, zugleich unaufdringlich und hatten uns schon Eier der eigenen Hühner und Wein hingestellt. Der Kamin war üppig mit Kaminholz bestückt. Große Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto in ca 10-15 min erreichbar. Wir besuchten Reims, Sedan und Bouillon. Selbst Paris wäre, wenn man früh losfährt für einen Tagesausflug geeignet. Sollten wir wieder in die Gegend fahren, werden wir ganz bestimmt wieder dort übernachten. Vielen Dank.

We waren hier met kerst 2018 een week met ons gezin en 3 kinderen , 19 , 16 , en 11 jaar , en Opa en Oma . een fijn huis , groot , goede slaapkamers met goede bedden , zeer warm ( ook bij -7 ) , Schoon en een gezellige sfeervolle haard en een heerlijk bad !! Voor kerst kregen we van de eigenaar 2 stukken vlees , zo lekker en lief . en een groot pluspunt ….de wasmachine deed het niet bij ons , ….net op kerst avond, we wilde het toch melden ….hun vonden het zo rot voor ons ….binnen een uur stond de eigenaar er met een nieuwe wasmachine !! hij zei "Merry Christmas "....nou dat is nog eens mega top service ! Mooie omgeving ( vooral met een laagje vorst - sneeuw ) We gaan er zeker een keer terug !! en we willen Maurice en Monique en de schoondochter SUPER bedanken voor deze mooie dagen !! Familie Engelen

Fewo ist sehr großzügig geschnitten, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in einem hübschen Minidörfchen inmitten hügeliger, ländlicher Idylle gelegen. Die Vermieter Mme und M. Martin sind sehr hilfsbereit, angenehm und äußerst nett. Sie haben uns mit dem verwöhnt, was ihr Garten und die eigene Federviehhaltung hergab und gaben uns jede Menge Tipps, die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Urlaub wie auf einer Arche Noah, wo die Schäfchen noch persönlich ins Bett gebracht werden ☺. Beim Empfang frisches Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten. Merci bien! Gut ausgestattete Küche, saubere Zimmer. Der Vermieter, der direkt nebenan wohnt, steht für Fragen oder einen kleinen Plausch immer zur Verfügung. Und obwohl wir einen Fehler bei der Abreise gemacht haben, da wir dachten für einen Tag länger gebucht zu haben, wurden wir nicht unhöflich hinaus geschmissen- da kann man sich von den Franzosen mal eine Scheibe in punkto Freundlichkeit abschneiden! Bitte beachten: in dem Dorf gibt es keinerlei Einkaufsmöglichkeit oder Gastwirtschaft.
