About this farm stay rental

This old Vosges farmhouse surrounded by nature, consists of a fully-beamed apartment, and a barn. In the kitchen, the water stone, the entrance to the bread oven and the sandstone tiles on the floor stand alongside contemporary household appliances. You can rest there, walk on the numerous marked paths, go to the picking of wild fruits or mushrooms. In winter, skiers and sledgers can slide on the snowpack that covers the ground in January and February. This haven of peace is located in the heart of the cradle of fly fishing where the fisherman can tease the trout there from March. Car rides will allow you to discover the Vosges massif with its landscapes, its craftsmen and its monuments. A small expedition to the source of the Moselle in Bussang or to the plateau of a thousand ponds, the visit of the old copper mines in Thillot or a session of well-being at the Plombières thermal baths can easily be envisaged. The vineyards of Alsace on the other side of the Vosges massif will delight lovers of white wine.

This house offered exactly what we were looking for this autumn: a week away with the family in nature, beautiful views, enough things to do <1h ride away, a lovely kitchen with fireplace and a kids-proof house. Basic, but comfortable. We had a few great walks, recommendations: - Fôret de Mérelle in Gerardmer: brisk walk with some rock climbing 2.5-3 hours. - Rupt-sur-Moselle: Walk via Grotte de la Sauture, among others. With some climbing but doable. - Walk to Saint-Mont: easy to do with children, beautiful view. - Walk up to le Ballon d'Alsace, short route to the top, bit touristic, but worth the view. Furthermore, a warm recommendation for Epinal, including the musée de l'image, walking along la Moselle, and the park at the chateau has an extensive playground for children up to 8 years old. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped with (among other things) a food processor, blender, hand blender, pressure cooker, toaster, Dutch oven, kitchen scale, rolling pin and quiche molds. For those who enjoy cooking, it is useful to bring sharp knives and your own spices + other basics such as baking paper. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. The 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds is located separately on the 1st floor and is accessible via a landing. Maybe a bit far away for young children. Bathroom is basic, but fine. Shower has a good jet, but with 4 people you have to be careful with available hot water. Other plus points: lots of sockets (these are often scarce in h

Wir waren zu Dritt für ein verlängertes Wochenende vor Ort, es hat an Nichts gefehlt und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Es war schon unser dritter Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Wir waren für 10 Tage in den Osterferien dort. Zwei Erwachsene und zwei Jungs im Alter von 9 und 11 Jahren. Das Haus bietet im Grunde alles was man braucht. Die Vermieterin ist wirklich freundlich,sehr bemüht und schnell zu erreichen wenn es Fragen gibt. Das Haus umgibt ein großer Garten und grenzt an einer wenig befahrene Straße. Hatten zwei Hunde mit, die nicht einen Tag angeleint werden mussten, da das Grundstück an einem Hang liegt eingerahmt von Bäumen. Mitten durch fließt ein Bach und ein kleiner Wasserfall.....für Kinder und Hunde also das reinste Paradies.Allerdings muss ich auf die Vielzahl der Zecken hinweisen!!! Also ein ausreichender Schutz ist hier mehr als angebracht!! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, man hört nur die Vögel zwitschern und den Bach rauschen. Die Sonnenaufgänge sind absolut empfehlenswert!!! Vom Haus aus kann man stundenlang wandern. Andere Wanderrouten sind mit dem Auto in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. (Ab 10 min aufwärts) Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gegeben und alle begegneten uns trotz der einen oder anderen Sprachbarriere freundlich und hilfsbereit.... Zusammenfassend hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub!! Wenn man also in der Natur seine Ferien verbringen möchte und der Focus auf Unternehmungen liegt,kann ich das Haus nur weiterempfehlen!

Il s'agit d'une ancienne ferme, mais elle dispose de tout le confort d'une maison moderne. Tout est prévu pour bien cuisiner, notamment un bon four, une cuisinière, de nombreux ustensiles de cuisine et un grand réfrigérateur avec congélateur séparé. Et il y a un lave-vaisselle. La seule chose qui nous manquait était un mixeur. Il n'y a pas de wifi et la couverture 4G est parfois difficile par mauvais temps. Le lit double que nous avions dans la chambre spacieuse du bas était très bien. Il y a également un feu de bois et il y a du bois et du bois d'allumage mais vous devez payer un petit montant par bûche. Nous avons trouvé la facture d'électricité après le séjour un peu chère, mais nous avions beaucoup cuisiné et utilisé le four. En hiver, avec le chauffage électrique, la facture pourrait augmenter encore plus. Mais l'accueil était très sympathique, la maison très propre et tout était clairement indiqué. Si vous aimez le calme et la tranquillité, c'est l'endroit idéal. En hiver, vous aurez certainement besoin de chaînes à neige car la route est raide et étroite. Nous étions désolés quand nous avons dû partir. Un endroit merveilleux, entouré de verdure et sans voisins. Hautement recommandé !

Wir waren für eine Woche mit unserem Dackel bei Claudine und haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und sauber. Sanitär gut und in der Küche praktisch ausgestattet. Den Garten haben wir sehr genossen, die Umgebung mit ihren Ausblicken ebenfalls. Für den schönen Ofen war es leider zu warm. Vielen Dank nochmal an Claudine, die uns unten am Berg sogar abgeholt hat, als wir das Haus bei der Anreise nicht fanden !!!

Wir haben unseren Ferienaufenthalt abseits von Allem Stress total genossen. Das Haus liegt wirklich total schön mitten in der Natur. Das Haus selbst war einfach aber hat unsere Familie gut gefallen. Es war mit Allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Gartenstühle, Grill, Holz, Geschirrspüle und vieles mehr. Alles war top sauber und hygenisch. Da es sich um ein altes Bauernhaus handelt war es für die Kids auch abenteuerlich. Die Lage es Hauses war auch ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderausflüge sowie viele in der Nähe gelegene Ausflugsziele die mit dem Auto schnell angefahren werden konnten. Wir überlegen ob wir nächstes Jahr gleich wieder kommen.

Peut-être penser à passer au numérique et réorganiser le rangement (beaucoup d’ustensiles qui ne servent pas à grand chose)car pas pratique pour ranger les courses pour 5 personnes. Canapé un peu vétuste (il se creuse) et pas adapté pour 5 personnes. Le logement est bien situé : tranquillité assurée.

Cette ancienne ferme a su garder son cachet, malgré une rénovation partielle, récente et de grande qualité. On y trouve tout ce qui est nécessaire pour un agréable séjour, tel que cela est décrit dans l'annonce. A un détail près, ce qui est dommage : il y est fait mention de la présence d'une chaine HIFI -ce qui est d'ailleurs étonnant pour ce type de gîte-. Mais il n'y a qu'un "crincrin" qui ne veut même plus lire les CD. Seule la radio fonctionne. Alors, la déception est là lorsque l'on veut écouter les disques que l'on a apporté. Ce détail est loin d'être primordial, mais s'il fallait trouver un détail négatif, il n'est que là.

Ein typisches altes Bauernhaus (mit dem Charme der Jahrhunderte) und innen ein "weiteres, modernisiertes Wohnhaus" inmitten des ruhigen Waldes am Hang über dem Tal der Mosel erwartete uns. Alles, was man (der "moderne" Mensch) braucht, war und ist vorhanden. Wir hatten sehr warme Tage. Im Haus war es aber durch die dicken Wände, Fensterläden und Fußböden immer angenehm temperiert und in der Nacht konnte man sich in die wundervollen Betten kuscheln und den Käuzchen zu hören. In der Abenddämmerung kann man gut verschiedene Fledermäuse bobachten und später den Sternenhimmel (hier gibt es nicht so viel "Lichtverschmutzung"). Es ist ein idealer Ausgangsplatz, zur Erkundung der näheren und weiteren Umgebung, zum Wandern, Städtchenbummeln, lecker Essen - einfach mal durchatmen. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut mit Auto erreichbar. Es gibt noch viel zu erkunden! Wir kommen wieder. - Vielen Dank an die freundliche Claudine ! Wir hatten auch Spass an gemeinsamen Übersetzungsversuchen :) Liebe Grüße und gute Wünsche!

Formidable week-end passé dans la ferme. Il faisait chaud ce week-end d’août, mais dans la maison il fait frais si les volets sont fermés. Très agréable. Tout le nécessaire pour bricoler de bons petits plats. Les murs sont fraîchement peints, la décoration est sobre et plaira au plus grand nombre. Départs de randonnées proches, beaucoup de visites intéressantes dans le coin, et plein de petits commerçants sympas. Nos enfants avaient un filet de badminton et un kit de tir à l’arc, ils se sont amusés joyeusement (et bruyamment) sans peur d’importuner les voisins, genial! Et cerise sur le gâteau: Claudine est une hôtesse très prévenante! Merci, nous reviendront pour une semaine complète la prochaine fois.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad. Het huis is relatief eenvoudig, maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Het is er zalig rustig en de kinderen hebben genoten van het spelen in de grote tuin en het aangrenzende bos. Het huis is een geweldige uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te ontdekken, zowel op de (race) fiets als wandelend. Er zijn vele wandelingen in de omgeving. We hebben zeer genoten!

Wir waren mit 5 Freunden für ein verlängertes Wochenende in dem Haus. Das Haus liegt wunderschön abgelegen in den Bergen. Das Grundstück liegt direkt an einer kleinen Straße (die allerdings kaum befahren ist, vielleicht 1 Auto pro Stunde) und ist zu den anderen Seiten von Wald begrenzt. Die Nachbarn sind hunderte Meter weit weg. Der große Garten mit Hanglage mit verschiedenen Ebenen ist das Highlight des Hauses. Es führen auch zwei winzige Bachläufe durch das Grundstück. Das Haus selber ist ein altes Bauernhaus und sieht toll aus. Innen ist es simpel, aber sehr ordentlich. Wir haben uns insbesondere in der Küche mit dem großen Esstisch aufgehalten. Für ein Ferienhaus ist die Küche eher gut ausgestattet, es gibt verschiedene Töpfe und Pfannen. Wer den Ofen nutzen will, sollte entsprechende Formen mitbringen. Außerdem kann man einen Gartengrill nutzen, den wir allerdings nicht verwendet haben. Unterm Strich hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt, der genau das geliefert hat, was wir uns erhofft hatten: Ein entspanntes Wochenende in einem rustikalen Ferienhaus inmitten der Natur.

Fin de la première phase de déconfinement...un rêve nous poursuit, retrouver les massifs des Vosges. La possibilité de réaliser ce rêve se présente le Week end de Pentecôte… 100 kms de notre domicile, le compte est bon !... A notre arrivée nous avons été chaleureusement et généreusement accueillis par Mme BOUQUARD dans sa jolie ferme vosgienne nichée dans la nature. Les rayons du soleil nous réchauffent dés le matin et jusqu'au soir. Nous avons profité en famille de ce bel endroit hors du temps, nous y reviendrons à la premier occasion !...
