We had a lovely holiday, the children enjoyed seeing the cows in the field, and watching the milking. Very peaceful location. Nicole and Jacques were very welcoming. Beds a little bit soft for our liking, and quite a few flies, which is a part of farm life, that we hadn't really thought about. Many thanks

Authentic farm experience- this is a wonderful place to say. The host Jaque and Nicole we sweet and helpful. They run a dairy farm on the property. Comfortable beds, we build a fire in the farm house kitchen. Very special, not for the average traveler.

Maison idéale pour un séjour avec enfants. Accueil très cordial. Un riz au lait maison délicieux nous attendait. Les enfants ont pu assister à la traite des vaches, voir les veaux, faire un tour de tracteur... La plage est à 20 min. Prévoir tout de même dans les bagages : sel, poivre, torchons, liquide vaisselle...les petits essentiels. Les draps de lits sont à 10€ par lit. La maison a 4 grandes chambres très propres, la salle de bain est très pratique avec sa baignoire et sa douche. Nous conseillons cette maison de campagne pour un séjour au calme. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Nous avons passé 4 jours très agréables chez les Turgis. L'endroit est superbe et calme, et notre fille a beaucoup apprécié de pouvoir participer à la traite des vaches, caresser les veaux, faire des câlins à Gamma la chienne (adorable !) et surtout faire des promenades avec le cheval Vaillant aux alentours de la ferme ! Les Turgis sont discrets et chaleureux et savent faire partager l'amour de leur métier. Bref, nous reviendrons dès que possible !

Magnifique ferme au calme. Accueil plus qu’attentioné de la part de Nicole et Jacques qui ont partagé leur enthousiasme et leur amour de leur métier avec nous et nos enfants (14 et 9 ans) qui ont pu traire les vaches, nourrir les veaux et conduire le tracteur! Magnifique ballade au bord d’un ruisseau dans les alentours, châteaux etc...Sur les excellents conseils de nos hôtes, nous avons découverts de belles plages ou le jardin Christian Dior à Grandville. Le gite est bien aménagé, en particulier les chambres et la salle de bain sont très confortables. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse et la table de Ping Pong. Micro bémol: la cuisine pourrait être rafraîchie et l’éclairage amélioré. Séjour plus que recommandé!!!

Nous avons passé la semaine du jour de l’an avec 3 enfants. Semaine agréable et enrichissante. Les enfants se sont éclatés. Monsieur et Madame TURGIS sont très accueillants et disponibles. Ils ont fait découvrir leur activité aux enfants (vêlage, traîte des vaches...). Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Attention à un point : pas d’accès internet dans le gîte (mais on s’en passe sans problème)

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf. Typisch Frans huis, groot, met een gezellige eetkeuken. Zeer gastvrij ontvangen en regelmatige verse producten van de eigenaresse mogen proeven. Bloemetjes op tafel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Sommige zaken zijn wat verouderd zoals bv het sanitair beneden. De ligging is prachtig en via de vele weggetjes zijn alle bezienswaardigheden uitstekend met de auto te bereiken. Onze verblijf was top en de vakantie van 2 weken ging belachelijk snel, te snel voorbij!

Gîte confortable, spacieux et bien équipé. Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits à 6 personnes et nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour. La maison et les environs sont très calme et la terrasse et la grande table extérieure nous ont permis de faire quelques repas dehors très agréables (nous avons même fait un barbecue). La famille Turgis (et leur adorable chienne) a été très accueillante (riz au lait maison pour nous accueillir et bouteille de lait frais pour le petit déjeuner), disponible et discrète. La situation géographique est idéale pour visiter de nombreux sites (pour nous, ce fut Chausey au départ de Granville, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue et le magnifique Jardin Botanique de Vauville) et profiter des plages alentours. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans le gite, en famille avec nos deux enfants de 20 mois et 4 mois. Les hôtes, Nicole et Jacques ont été aux petits soins et pleins de bons conseils pour profiter des alentours. Merci pour cet accueil des plus chaleureux. Le gîte est vraiment au calme et en pleine campagne. Le cadre est magnifique. La terrasse et le jardin sont des plus agréables. Nous avons eu le droit à la visite de la ferme et à une balade au village par Alexandre, le fils des hôtes, qui est également très sympathique. Notre fille de un an et demi a adoré! Le gîte et conforme aux photos et à la description. Il est assez bien équipé et s'il vous manque quelque chose, les hôtes se feront un plaisir de vous rendre service. Seul point négatif, la décoration est un peu vieillotte. Le temps ne nous a pas permis de profiter pleinement de la terrasse et nous avons donc du manger dans la cuisine qui est un peu sombre. Nous recommandons ce gîte et gardons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour.

Een heerlijke week vakantie in gite l'arthour. De kinderen hebben genoten van de koeien en kalfjes op de boerderij en waren snel dikke vriendjes met Gama de hond. Het huis is eenvoudig ingericht maar ruim en van alles voorzien. De eigenaar hartelijk en gastvrij. Vanwege de centrale ligging in dit deel van Normandie zijn Cherbourg, Mont St. Michel, de D-day landingsstranden vlot te bereiken. Kortom voor ons, ondanks het frisse voorjaarsweer, een zeer geslaagde week.

We and our two children had a great week at the cottage l'arthour. The kids loved to see the cows and calves and enjoyed playing with Gama, the dog. The house was big enough and clean. Une semaine formidable à tous points de vue!

L'Arthour est un gîte spacieux, bien équipé (rien ne manquait pour les enfants de 8 mois et 2 ans!) et confortable. Nous étions 7 (3 générations) et nous sommes tous sentis 'chez nous' tout de suite. Grâce à la terrasse, la cour et les environs immédiats, nous avons pu vivre dehors aussi souvent que possible. La situation géographique - à mi-chemin entre la côte est et la côte ouest du Cotentin nous a permis de rayonner et de visiter de nombreux sites ( de St Malo à Cabourg en passant par le Mont St Michel, Granville, Caen, Bayeux, les plages du débarquement...) , mais aussi de profiter des immenses plages. La famille Turgis a été très accueillante (dessert préparé pour le soir dans la cuisine à l'arrivée !) , disponible et prête à nous renseigner tant sur la région que sur leur activité. Non seulement nous recommanderions la location mais nous espérons bien y retourner car il nous reste encore de nombreuses choses à voir et à faire en Normandie :-)

Une location très confortable avec de l'intimité et un très bon accueil de la part de Nicole et Jacques au coeur de la campagne Normande, des conseils avisés pour les balades et visites dans la région. Des rencontres inopinés avec les vaches depuis la fenêtre de la salle de bain, La table de ping pong est source de rire constants. La cuisine bien complète permet bien des plaisirs gustatifs, le grand écran de télévision et le lecteur de DVD permettent en cas de pluie de passer des moments agréables en bonne compagnie. Un décor enchanteur et un Vaillant cheval pour de petites balades et des sourires de tout coins seront parfaits pour vos vacances, je conseil vivement ce site agréables pour tout publics.
