About this villa rental
Discover the Villa Rhapsodie, the spacious family Basque villa and its charming and characterful interior with its different spaces making it possible to ideally and comfortably accommodate one or two families sharing the heated and secure swimming pool of 8 x 4 meters, the 3 terraces and the garden landscaped fenced.
Two entrances, the South entrance and the West entrance of the 900m2 property, allow access to the Villa Rhapsodie discreetly divided into two adjoining and communicating entities by the garden and the swimming pool: La Grande and la Petite Rhapsodie.
The Grande, ideal for 6 beds, is composed on the ground floor of an equipped kitchen, a living area with a dining room in an Arcachon style veranda for 8 to 10 people and a comfortable lounge for relaxation and media.
Upstairs, a bathroom with bath and sink, a separate toilet and 3 bedrooms: a first bedroom with 1 double bed of 160 with private shower and sink, a second bedroom with 1 double bed of 160 and large balcony, and a third bedroom with 2 single beds of 90 with sink.
On the garden level, a laundry area with washing machine, dryer, ... and a separate toilet.
La Petite Rhapsodie, for 4 beds, is composed of an equipped kitchen, a living dining room, a WC and 2 bedrooms:
a West bedroom with 1 double bed of 160 and bathroom and private shower, and a second North bedroom with 1 double bed of 160 with bathroom and private shower.
Relax with an aperitif on one of the three covered, shaded or full sun terraces, with a pleasant view of the swimming pool in a fenced landscaped garden out of sight:
The covered South East terrace has a comfortable garden furniture for 10 people facing the swimming pool and a barbecue / plancha nearby.
The south-facing covered terrace has a dining table for 6 people with direct view of the swimming pool.
The partially covered west terrace has a dining table for 4 to 5 people.
A parking space for 2 to 3 cars is provided on the property.
The pool and garden maintenance service is provided once a week.

We rented Villa Rhapsodie for 4 weeks over the summer for our family and for friends to join us. The villa was a very high standard, and we immediately felt at home. The garden and swimming pool were lovely, different porches and areas to sit depending on the time of day and the heat of the day. The location of villa Rhapsodie is fantastic with a park, (playground if you have little ones) and a 10min walk to the shops, beaches and train station. For those who like to cook the kitchen is well equiped and there is a great Intemarche Hyper a 8 min drive from the house. Arcachon is a very lovely town. Jean Paul and Caroline were fantastic hosts, always easily contactable and quick to respond to all questions both prior to the holiday and during. We are already thinking about when we can return. Perfect venue for a family holiday - 8 adults and one 3 year old.
The house and facilities suited our needs perfectly and the pool was the crowning glory. We all had the most wonderful time - with wonderful weather too. Arcachon is a town with everything - an amazing park, bakeries, shops, fabulous beach, bike hire and links to everywhere we wanted to visit.
Caroline and Jean-Paul provided the perfect holiday for us. Thank you so much!

Utterly stunning place, impeccably clean and well cared for. The owners were amazingly helpful and welcoming. I’d recommend this place to anyone, we’d love to go back some day.

We rented Villa Rhapsodie for three weeks over the summer holiday for our family and for friends to join us. The villa was a very high standard, beautifully furnished, spacious and full of character, a real home from home. The garden and swimming pool were lovely, different porches and areas to sit depending on the time of day and the heat of the day. Little Rhapsodie was included within the rental and was perfect for our visiting friends, also a family of four.
The location of villa Rhapsodie is ideal, situated in the historic and peaceful Winter Village with a park, playground and quick access to the shops and town beaches. We hired bikes which made additional beaches within easy reach along traffic free cycle paths. These would also be easy to get to on foot.
We loved Arcachon for its wide sandy beaches, restaurants, shops, boat trips and activities all on the doorstep of the villa.
Caroline and Jean Paul were kind hosts, always easily contactable and quick to respond to all questions both prior to the holiday and during.
We hope to return.
