Hahaland

I really liked the common area space and the water park. The time of year (June) it was very hot and swimming each day in the fresh cool river was a highlight of my stay. The general vibe is very relaxing and charming. The amenities are basic but I liked it this way.

I would have appreciated an included towel, and body soap in the bathrooms (since most other accomodations on my travels so far have included these things, I felt it was missing here.

Cool place with water slodes and divong boards. Reasonably priced food and drink. Decent price for private air conditioned room! Not far from town either.

Could be a little loud at times, but that's nobody's fault.

This place truly lives up to its name, Hahaland. I had a fantastic time here. The water park was the best part because I was here in the summer. The staff were nice and friendly. The food and drinks were also great.

The facilities were fairly basic but acceptable for the price. The view of the river was beautiful.

Unfortunately, the male owner was quite rude, which really soured the overall atmosphere. He was not accommodating and made us feel unwelcome in the common areas. Because of this, we didn’t want to spend time there, eat meals, or order drinks. Because of this we also chose not to rent a scooter or book tours through the property. We even overheard him telling off other guests for having a friend visit during the day to sit in the outdoor common area. However, the other lady who worked there was lovely and very accommodating, making an effort to speak with us whenever she could. Unfortunately, we encountered her far less often than the male owner. Also the water park was not in great condition though still somewhat usable.
