Heavenly setting, view of the Caribbean Sea, swimming pool and large shaded terrace.

Everything went super smoothly and the house was great! We really enjoyed the view, the pool, and the shaded patio. One thing to note, this is listed as an “entire house.” While technically true, Sebastien and family do live right upstairs in an open format (like most houses in Martinique). That being said, they were incredibly respectful and quiet and were great hosts!

Perfect location with a great view over the bay, only a short walk downhill to the town, with restaurants and a french baguette shop (and then back up hill to eat the breakfast)

The apartment was perfectly clean and cute, with a convenient layout of split bedrooms, with the well-equipped kitchenette, living room, and bathroom in between; so our family of 4 was very comfortable there. The owners are a charming family who speak English very well, and were eager to help with anything we needed, restaurant reservations, etc., otherwise we had privacy. The location, above the quaint village of Les Anses D'Arlet, was excellent and in close walking distance of its pretty beach and cafes, although due to a very steep incline, we sometimes drove. However, due the house's location on the hill, there is a fabulous panoramic view below - much better than is depicted. The large deck, outdoor seating areas, and refreshing pool were fabulous, and it was so inviting to just luxuriate there and enjoy the warm breezes and the views of the harbor below.
