About this villa rental
Located in the heart of a secure subdivision, the house is on stilts, among the pines.
5 minutes walk from everything you need for your holidays:
Bakery, grocery, butcher, restaurants, surf school .... and the market on Monday morning.
This house is ideal for 1 or 2 families

It consists of a large living room with fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, microwave, toaster, Senseo coffee ..) a TV corner with sofa
opening with 2 large windows with brick partition on a terrace of 60 square meters where you can eat on a teak table with armchairs, a corner plancha and the other side of the terrace, an outdoor shower, very nice to the return of the beach.
There are 3 bedrooms:
on the ground floor 2 bedrooms:
-one with a 160 bed
-the second is modular with 2 beds in 80
upstairs is a large room with a bed 160, a large terrace.
The beds are made on arrival and all linen (tea towels, towels) is provided.
The house is built on a basement where we have arranged a small apartment (totally independent) for private use.
The resort of Carcans-Plage is a family resort where you can practice many activities
Surf, many bike paths in the forest.
Lake Hourtin-Maubuisson is 5km (paddle boat, paddle, parasailing, hook-branches).
The Lacanau golf course is 10km away.
Bordeaux is 50 km away.
The Médoc vineyard and its famous castles is
50 km

We spend a very relaxed week at this beautiful place, ran by very sympathetic owners, surfing, enjoying the beach and going for bikerides in the pine forests.

Two weeks with 3 kids and, although weather wasn't great this year, loved every minute. Owner is lovely and responsive with communication. House is nicely fitted out. No bath and only 1 shower but this was no problem as kids loved the outdoor shower :-) Location is good with amazing beach in walking distance for bodyboarding and surfing and a quiet lake beach a 5 mins drive which is safe for smaller kids. Carcans Plage has a small supermarket and plenty of bars and restaurants. Overall a great holiday.
