About this house rental

Located between Deauville and Houlgate, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, our house is warm and surrounded by a beautiful garden where young and old can enjoy.
This authentic Norman longer has 4 bedrooms (including 1 with a cot) and a large fireplace.
This calm and restful place is located 15 Kms from the very pretty beaches of Deauville, Trouville, Houlgate and Cabourg. All these activities are available to you: hiking, beaches, horse riding and Pony Club. I can send you other photos on request, the site having forced us, do not hesitate.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in this gorgeous historic Norman long house. It likely dates from the 16th/17th century and was a real privilege to be able to rent it out. The host was very good at communicating and the check in process was very easy. The only downside was the lack of freezer and WiFi.

The house was lovely and very quaint. It is a bit smaller than it appears in the photos but we still had plenty of space for 5 people. The upstairs ceilings are very low and one bedroom would not be good for children. The house is about an hour to an hour and an half from the Normandy beaches. Overall, it was a great little house in the countryside and very private.

The house is ideally situated for the Cidre route, Caen and the beach. Rooms are welcoming and with new bathrooms and kitchen make this in ideal stay for two families or friends with two double bedrooms and twin bedrooms for children. We will highly recommend this accommodation in beautiful surroundings.

We booked three nights here to break our journey home from southern France and to explore a new region. We wish we'd stayed longer! This typical Normandie house is in a quiet and idyllic spot - there is no noise other than the neighbouring donkey - yet is convenient for exploring the pretty local villages and stunning Normandie coastline. The living quarters of the house are spacious and well-equipped, with a small but high-quality kitchen and lovely traditional flagstones on the floors. The bedrooms are comfortable and charming - taller guests will need to watch their heads! - and the two bathrooms are modern and tasteful. One of the bedrooms has a slightly hazardous access which would not be suitable for young children or anyone with limited agility, but would be an adventure for teenagers! It was possible to lock this room off to ensure our small children were safe. The garden was for us the real benefit. It is huge, perfect for hide and seek and the owners left us with outdoor toys which our children loved. We hope to visit again.
