About this castle / palace rental
At the heart of the vineyards of the hillsides of the layon well known for its sweet wine you can organize walks or bicycle rides on the many paths dedicated to these activities. (Rental for weekends possible to see directly with the owner).
The Loire Valley is close, the tourist places also ANGERS - 25 km, SAUMUR - 35 km, BRISSAC QUINCEY -10 km, DOUE LA FONTAINE - 20 km, PUY du FOU - 70 km (40 minutes).
The pavilion is made up of:
1 entrance with shower room, washing machine, dryer
1 large living room with kitchenette open to the ruins of the chapel of the old castle
1 bathroom,
1 toilet
4 double bedrooms (sleeps 160, 2 times 140, 160 separable into two times 80).
Internet connection
The house is composed of:
1 entry
1 passage to the tower and the kitchen
1 double bedroom 160 full foot with adjoining bathroom
1 pieces under restoration (reserved for storage)
2 bathrooms with toilet
1 bedroom with 4 sleeping places

Festive birthdays, weddings, family weekends have already been organized in these places steeped in history. A renowned caterer is nearby and knows the property well ... We recommend it ... For weddings the rental is minimum 4 days.

Amazing huge space for 3 families on holiday together! It was really hot when we were there, so we loved cooling down in the pool with our inflatables, kids especially loved it. We enjoyed playing in and exploring the huge beautiful gardens, some of us also enjoyed kayaking down the river- lots of birds and nature to see and hear! The house itself has lots of character, and the two lounges were nice and cool for us to retreat to from the heat for some games or a film! Also enjoyed some lovely walks along tracks past vineyards etc which run from just near the house. Kitchen, while not massive, has all you could need including a huge fridge-freezer, and there's a lovely outside shaded outside space to eat near the kitchen. Michele who checked us in/ out and was available for , responded very quickly and was very friendly and helpful (and we just about managed with our limited French!).All in all a brilliant stay, thank you so much. Hope to maybe viait again one day!

Very organised hosts who communicated well throughout. Very well presented and equipped house, plenty of space for family holiday. Very nice pool and gardens! Layout is quirky, and wouldn’t suit all family set ups, but we made it work without too much trouble and had a really comfortable and fun stay. Great area, nice villages and places of interest close by.

We really loved our stay in this amazing chateau. We were with a big group, and had more then enough space. The swimming pool was big and not to cold. The garden invites you to sit outside the entire day with a glass of wine and some french cheese out of the Loire Region! There are nice markets in the region where you can buy fresh products. The kitchen is well equipted, so cooking and eating is a great possibility.Thank you overal for our stay. We hope to come back in the future! Thank you Gabriel and Brigitte and Michèle!
