The cottage is charming, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The garden is extensive and private with a good range of seating. The lounge is enormous and very attractive and the bedroom and bathroom are extremely appealing. Trudie and Edwin are charming hosts, friendly and helpful but completely unobtrusive. Perfect!

Perfect cottage centrally located in Provence!

Trudie and Edwin were super responsive and easy to work with. Upon arrival we found ourselves a stones throw away from an idyllic goat cheese farm in Provence. Our gracious hosts had welcomed us to the property with a bottle of rose and three different kinds of their farms delicious goat cheese. It was such a beautiful place to unwind after touring some more bustling regions in Europe. The patio was a great place to relax and watch the sunset over the fields and mountains. The location couldn't have been better! It was only a short car ride to tons of great provencial towns, vineyards, amazing hikes like Sillans La Cascade, and day trips to lake Saint Croix and Gorges Du Verdon. We even used this as our home base to venture as far as Cap D'Antibe, and AIX. We extended our vacation/honeymoon, and were fortunate enough to be able to work from here for 9 days. On the downside, we did have to work 8 hour days and explore the region in our off hours. The internet service was a little spotty at times, which could make working a challenge. However, Trudie, Edwin and their son worked with us to figure out what was causing the problem. In all honesty, if we didn't need the connection for work purposes, the WiFi would probably have been perfectly fine. All in all, this was an amazing experience! The property was this great rustic cottage surrounded by fields in Provence. Trudie even dropped off some wood so we could relax around the fire with a bottle of wine after a day of exploring and work.

Wir durften 2 wunderbare Wochen in der Provence in einem traumhaft schönen Haus verleben. Das Haus ist wirklich so schön wie auf den Fotos und es steht tatsächlich in Alleinlage. Es ist alles bestens ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch wenn es keine Klimaanlage hat, so haben die dicken Mauern die Hitze abgehalten, so dass uns im Haus selten zu heiß war. Deux semaines de rêve.

Magnifique bastidon provençal en pleine nature, au calme, avec le voisinage des chèvres. La vue est splendide. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très accueillants. A l'arrivée j'ai trouvé un bouquet de fleurs de leur jardin ainsi que des fromages de chèvre de leur production, délicate intention de leur part. On a envie d'y revenir.

Wonderful, qualm and relaxing

Many thanks to our very nice, sympathetic and reliable renters! The little gîte is wonderful, with many lovely details, tastefully restored, very calm and relaxing. We loved to see the baby goats, enjoyed the landscape of the Provence, the small villages, the flee markets and already warm weather. The goat cheese of the renters is fantastic, we would have loved to stay much longer and we are looking forward to our next vacation at this lovely place. Thank you to Trudie and Edwin!

Der perfekte Ort für eine Auszeit. Fern vom Alltag und fern vom Touristentrubel an den Hotspots. Gemütliches Haus mit vielen gestalterischen Details, schöner großer Garten - und dann der Blick: nichts als Landschaft ringsum. Abends nach der Hitze lassen sich die Ziegen der benachbarten Farm blicken und bieten mehr Programm, als es das Fernsehen könnte. Wem das nicht genug ist, kann die hübschen alten Orte wie Villecroze, Salernes, Tourtour oder Lourges in der Umgebung und ihre Märkte besuchen. Landschaftlich sind die Verdonschlucht und der Lac de Sainte-Croix nicht weit und natürlich die Côte d'Azur. Danke an die tollen Gastgeber Trudie und Edwin für ihre Freundlichkeit, Großzügigkeit und diesen schönen Ort. Danke auch für den herzlichen Empfang und den köstlichen Käse von Ursel und Christian

Trudie and Edwin created a lovely place and we enjoyed our week right from the start as a cold bottle Rosé and some very delicious goat cheese waited for us in the fridge. Everyone who is seeking for hideout far away from the ordinary, including a cosy fireplace, a well equipped kitchen, a shady garden, only goats as neighbors and picturesque villages nearby: this is your place. Wir haben einen ruhigen Urlaub in sehr schöner Athmosphäre verbracht. In erster Linie hat uns das sehr liebevoll um nicht zu sagen künstlerisch gestaltete Haus gefallen. Die Besitzer waren als Ansprechpartner vor ort und haben uns das Gefühl gegeben,bei ihnen und in ihrem Haus willkommen zu sein. Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans un endroit idyllique. Villecroze nous a totalement séduit, tout comme les petits villages des alentours ; région à parcourir et à savourer sans restrictions. Les propriétaires sont tout à fait charmants et très accueillants. Pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue, nous avions dans le frigo, une sélection de fromages de chèvres qu'ils produisent eux-mêmes, et des fleurs fraîches. Trudie s'est même chargée d'envoyer au Canada un objet que j'avais oublié et qui me tenait à coeur. La bergerie, petite maison isolée et très bien équipée, est l'endroit tout désigné aux personnes qui recherchent la tranquillité dans un environnement champêtre. Un gros merci à Trudie et Edwin

Wir haben zwei sehr entspannte Wochen in diesem schönen Häuschen verbracht. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz für zwei (und mehr) Personen, ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liebevoll dekoriert. Der Garten lädt mit seinen Schattenplätzen zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Désireux de passer les fêtes de fin d'année à la découverte de la Provence Verte, nous cherchions un gîte qui nous permettent de rayonner aussi bien dans les terres que vers la mer (Gorges du Verdon - Cassis -St Tropez - Bormes les Mimosas, le Massif des Maures etc...), et qui possède une cheminée pour réchauffer nos soirées et faire griller quelques châtaignes. Le gîte de Trudie nous a permis de réaliser tous nos souhaits. Mise à disposition de bois, nous avons même trouvé dans le frigo à notre arrivée quelques fromages de leur production et un pot de confiture maison. Nous avons apprécié nos échanges avec le couple autour d'un verre, ils nous ont donné quelques conseils de visite (notamment les marchés à faire de bon matin), conté leur région et leur métier. Le gîte est au calme, possède tout le confort (vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine), il est bien chauffé, isolé, et la literie est de bonne qualité. Merci pour la qualité de ce logement et la chaleur de votre accueil.

Nous avons un séjour très agréable dans cette magnifique maison où tout a été pensé ! Les propriétaires sont charmants, discrets et très accueillants ! Cadre très agréable loin du bruit de la ville, entouré de champs et de mignonnes biquettes... le village le plus proche n'est pas loin et la région est superbe avec plein de sites à visiter notamment le très beau lac de Sainte Croix ! Ne manque qu'une piscine ;) Nous reviendront sans hésiter !

We stayed in this beautiful cottage for three weeks in September. Except of two rainy days the weather was perfect and warm. The cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped. It is the perfect place for those who seek a quiet and relaxing place in a rural and very green French surrounding. We enjoyed very much to visit the markets in nearby villages and towns and soaked up the atmosphere. Trudie and Edwin are the perfect hosts. They have been there whenever we needed advice or help. All in all we only can highly recommend this cottage.

Séjour tres agreable, la maison est pleine de charme avec comme voisine les "biquettes blanche " !! Trés bonne préstation : maison tres soignée et propre, tres bon amenagement, il ne manque rien !! Les propriétaire sont vraiment trés acceuillant et d'une tres grande gentillesse... La région est vraiment trés jolie à voir, les gorges du verdon sont à visiter absolument pour les yeux !!! Bonne situation géographique, proche de toute commodité, proche de la mer et des gorges du verdon... Je recommande cette location pour les personnes amoureux de la nature....

Nous avons fait un tres agrable sejour dans cette maison decoree avec gout et tres bien equipee et bien entretenue.Acceuil tres agrable qui s'est confirme par la suite Trudie et Erwin sont des hotes tres sympatiques et attentionnes D'ailleurs nous y retournons cette annee pour cette fois 2 semaines. Location a fortement recommander pour les personnes aimant la nature et la tranquilite et desirant decouvrir la Provence authentique
