Nestled in the middle of orchards near the feudal village of Boulbon, the farmhouse offers a breathtaking view of one of the most beautiful villages in France. Located 10 km from Avignon TGV station and close to Arles, Saint Rémy de Provence and Pont du Gard.
On a plot of 500m2 (cypress, oleanders, and pines), you will enjoy absolute calm conducive to rest and reverie.
The Mas will welcome you on 2 levels:
Ground floor: entrance with extra bed, living room, fitted kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave)

The mas was bigger than expected and we enjoyed our stay here. Beds were comfortable and the host was very attentive and helpful. The village of Boulbon is beautiful and we would recommend a hike to the windmill. The maze of medieval alleyways below the castle are worth exploring. There is a well stocked grocery store and a boulangerie adjacent to the mairie.

Beautiful and confortable home in the country

Three of us stayed here for one week, ending today. The house is located out in the countryside away from any noise (exception was an owl one or two nights). The home has plenty of room, a well furnished kitchen with plenty of pots and pans if you wish to cook (but a tiny coffeemaker), large family room, and very adequate sized bedrooms. There is fantastic shower and small sink upstairs and separate toilet downstairs. The house has a washing machine and outside clothesline. The house is in a beautiful setting, with many large trees and shrubs. We had one incident of an overnight storm that knocked out electricity to the house, but the owner, once notified, had a man there within 15 minutes to fix it, and that fellow was superb! He entertained us with stories, some of which, not speaking French, we understood, (and some singing) after the issue was corrected. Our host could not have been any nicer or more considerate to us. The location is central to many tourist sites: within 15 minutes to Avignon, 25 minutes to Arles, 40 minutes to Nimes, maybe 25 to Pont-du-Gard. So, if you want a good base from which to drive to those places, this is good. If you want to just sit and vegetate in the quiet of the countryside, this is perfect. One suggestion to the owner: perhaps leave instructions on the use of the washer. We got it to work but instructions would have made it easier. The washing machines in France are different than the ones in the U.S. We enjoyed our stay in Boulbon and can recommend this house without hesitation.

The house is lovely ,rustic with mod cons that are essential these days , we felt it would benefit from air conditioning in the bedrooms though,hence the four stars . Nature lovers will appreciate all the cicadas,butterflies , tiny lizards and Camrgue horses which are beautiful as is the food !

Characterful mas in beautiful countryside with a delightful garden

The mas was full of charm and character. Everything necessary for a comfortable stay was supplied and the owners were extremely helpful. The garden was delightful with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The mas is surrounded by cherry and peach trees, olives, grapes, artichokes and much more. Boulbon, the local village, is pretty and only a short walk away. We had dinner at the Cafe du Commerce which was friendly with good food and a lovely atmosphere. There is lots to see in the local area, excellent markets, beautiful villages and lots of good walks if you enjoy hiking. The local produce is second to none, whether it's cherries, melons, olive oil or wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Outre l'agrément d'une belle maison avec ses meubles provençaux , nous avons beaucoup aimé le jardin qui rassemble harmonieusement toutes les essences d'arbres du Midi. Quel plaisir de déjeuner sous la voûte de l'immense platane ! Huile d'olive et olives maison ont agréablement accompagné l'accueil sympathique des hôtes, soucieux de nous informer sur les richesses touristiques du lieu.Seuls deux légers bémols à notre satisfaction: la cafetière, trop petite et très, très lente. Et l'absence surprenante de téléviseur.

We spent 3 pleasant weeks in the house, which is situated in the middle of fields near Boulbon. You can make nice trips from there. We especially liked the Gardon gorge, where you can swim very beautifully behind Collias. Thanks a lot to the kind landlords, who welcomed us very friendly and gave us very valuable tips.

Dieses wunderschöne Landhaus liegt sehr ruhig gelegen 10 Gehminuten ausserhlb von Boulbon. Wir verbrachten zu zweit eine Woche in diesem geräumigen Haus. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und die Stille in der Nacht einfach magisch. Morgens wurden wir von einem Vogelkonzert geweckt. Im Garten hat es sehr viele Sitzgelegenheiten in der Sonne wie auch unter wunderschönen schattenspedenden Bäumen. Die Küche bietet alles an Einrichtung, um sich selbst zu verköstigen. Die Vermieter versorgten uns mit vielen interessanten Ausflugstips sowie Möglichkeiten lokal bei Gemüsebauern einzukaufen. Durch die zentrale Lage von Boulbon war die Erreichbarkeit von Arles ,Nimes oder auch Saint Rémy de Provence sehr gut. Es ist schön ein Ort zu kennen, wo man sich bei Bedarf zurückziehen und erholen kann. In diesem Sinne: "Au revoir" :-)

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce mas ancien. La cour et une partie du jardin sont très ombragés - agréable pendant une semaine de chaleur. Et par temps de mistral un agréable coin dans la partie du jardin au soleil ou dans l'oliveraie... Le matin il peut arriver qu'un écureuil grimpe et saute dans le platane. Ou le soir qu'un renard se glisse à travers une haie au bord de la proprieté. Ce calme se trouve à quelques minutes de l'historique village de Boulbon avec ses ruelles, son château et ses petits commerces. Dans la maison un salon comfortable et très spacieux, une cuisine bien équippée et deux chambres charmantes.

Das alte Bauernhaus versteckt sich in einem parkähnlichen Garten mit herrlichen alten Baumbestand. Von Boulbon aus kann man wunderbar die Umgebung entdecken: Arles, Nimes, Avignon, den Pont du Gard. Nach den vielen neuen Eindrücken war es stets ein herrliches Gefühl in das verwunschene Grün des Gartens zurückzukehren und das Erlebte Revue passieren zu lassen. Umgeben von riesigen Zypressen und hohen Oleanderbüschen, alles überschattet von einer alten Platane wirkte das Anwesen fast ein bisschen wie aus der Zeit gefallen.

ein charmantes altes Bauernhaus in der Provence. Liegt sehr ruhig in Obstplantagen ohne direkte Nachbar, was sehr angenehm und erholsam war. Sauber und gut ausgestattet. Leider Toilette nur im Treppenhaus und kein Kleiderschrank im Zimmer vorhanden. Liegt sehr günstig, um Ausflüge zu unternehmen . Würden zu jeder Zeit wieder hinfahren.

Wir haben auch wegen der guten Bewertungen dieses schöne Bauernhaus gemietet, und es war ein Traum! Ein riesiges Grundstück mit tollem Blick auf das Örtchen Boulbon mit seiner Abends beleuchteten Burg, ein charmantes und großes Haus mit kompletter Ausstattung, und eine zentrale Lage für diverse Ausflüge. Marseille und das Mittelmeer sind in ca. 1,5 Stunden zu erreichen, Avignon liegt nur wenige Kilometer entfernt, und diverse kleine Flüsse laden zum Baden oder Kanu-Fahren ein. Unsere Kinder (15 und 13) habe sich zu keiner Sekunde gelangweilt. Einfach nur genial!

Nous avons passé à quatre une semaine très agréable dans cette maison qui a du charme, au calme dans la campagne. La maison est chaleureuse, bien équipée même si l'aménagement n'est généralement pas récent. Le jardin est grand et soigné. Les propriétaires ont été très attentionnés, notamment pour retrouver des jouets pour nos enfants. Le village de Boulbon est proche, avec quelques commerces. Les balades dans la "montagnette" sont facilement accessibles. On rayonne facilement vers tous les centres d'intérêt de la région, qui sont nombreux. Attention en hiver: le système de chauffage et d'isolation nous a semblé moyennement adapté en cas de froid. Mais ce n'est probablement pas la période que la plupart choisiront. Pour résumer: une maison où nous nous sommes sentis très bien! Peut-être à une prochaine fois?

Un mas authentique, entouré de cyprès et à la cour délicieusement ombragée par un platane centenaire, loin de l'agitation et du bruit et pourtant à quelques kilomètres des plus beaux sites de la région (Avignon, Pont du Gard, Alpilles,...). Un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. Nous avons été enchantés par cette trop courte semaine passée là, et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir et sans hésiter. Encore merci aux propriétaires pour leur chaleureux accueil.

Très joli mas ancien amenagé avec beaucoup de goût. Le jardin bien arboré et entretenu est très agréable. La maison spacieuse est joliment située au milieu des vergés. Les propriétaires nous ont laissé toutes les indications et prospectus pour visiter cette superbe région. La grande entrée peut faire office de 3ème chambre (elle est isolable, on peut entrer dans la maison sans être obligé de la traverser). Le fait que l’eau ne soit pas “potable” n’est pas un problème (elle n’est pas bonne mais on peut en boire un verre de temps en temps sans être malade). Bref une bonne adresse.

Mas de Boulbon: the most beautiful holidays weh ad so far - and we both know the world. We 2 adults spent here 3 ½ weeks in mai 2015. The Mas (Farmhouse, Finca) is an old farmhouse, completely renovated with enough space for 4 people, well equipped even to cook every day; there is nothing missing. A marvellous Salon for breakfast and eating as well plus two dining areas in the garden. Very quiet place amidst the fruit-plantations and farms along the river Rhone with comfortable beds, 2 km outside the small village of Boulbon, where you can buy the basic things. The garden is a dream with lots of sun and shade as well. Children can play here without any danger. Sightseeing: simply easy because the house is located in the middle of the whole region. Thus enabling you to do day-tours in an easy manor: in 30 to 45 minutes you reach all the famous places and towns. The roads are in excellent condition and the people helpful and charming. Even places like the Canyon of Verdon, the Ardéche valley and Aix-en-Provence as well as the Camargue can be easily reached. The owners provide a lot of Information and brochures plus some good tips what to do. Thus we will come definitely again ! Winnie & Dieter
