About this house rental
The Trullo delle Fate stands out for its panoramic position overlooking the sea and the century-old olive trees that are typical of the area. It is close to the coast, though not directly on the beach — the sea is clearly visible from the house, and the iodine-rich sea breeze reaches the property, gently filtered by the olive trees. A recently built elegant swimming pool offers a refreshing escape during the hottest summer days.
The property is located at the center of a fenced plot of about 6,000 square meters, with a gated entrance from a paved road and ample private parking.
The house consists of a very old part — a three-cone trullo where the living room and kitchen are located — connected to a more recent extension featuring two bedrooms with independent access (each with a stone dome ceiling) and two bathrooms.
The renovation and furnishing were carried out by an architect with great care, respecting the local materials and architectural style.
Inside the ancient trullo, the living room features a large dining table (seating 8) with two benches on the sides that open up into small single beds, a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, 4-burner stovetop, a fireplace area with two armchairs, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi.
An interior passage leads to the sleeping area with two spacious double bedrooms, each with independent outdoor access, and two bathrooms (one with a bathtub, the other with a shower). The interior design is refined, combining elegance with simplicity.
The house is fully equipped with all necessary kitchenware and appliances, including a hand blender, hairdryer, iron, electric broom, and various practical household items. At the back of the house, there is a utility room with gas cylinders, a water heater, washing machine, clothes drying rack, and small ironing board.
Also at the back, you’ll find a very convenient outdoor hot shower!
Next to the trullo, under a shaded pergola, there is a large furnished terrace with an outdoor kitchen, sink, big dining table (seating 8), benches, and outdoor chairs.
The swimming pool is seasonal, available from May 15 to October 1.
The nearest sea is just 4 km away — this stretch of coast is known as the “Costa Merlata”, or “Embattled Coast”, due to its mix of small beaches and low rocky outcrops, with crystal-clear waters (Blue Flag certified – Ostuni marina). About 20 km away, you’ll find the beautiful sandy beaches of the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve, with both equipped lidos and free beach areas. On windy days along the Adriatic, you can head to the Ionian coast — a bit farther but still reachable in under 40 minutes by car.
The center of Ostuni — the White City — is only 4 km away, full of historical monuments and lively nightlife.

Contrada Tamburroni a 3 km dal centro di Ostuni nel verde degli ulivi secolari, il trullo è consigliato a chi come noi ha due figli perché ci sono due camere da letto e due bagni. Ognuno ha i suoi spazi e tanto fa la parte esterna dove la.piscina permette ai bimbi di divertirsi. Cucina in muratura piccola ma.ben attrezzata. Lavatrice e lavapiatti presenti e comoda doccia esterna. Ci mancherà la tranquillità della sera.

Das Trullo ist sehr liebevoll und stilgerecht restauriert. Es fehlt an nichts. Wir hatten noch nie ein so perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus.
Siretta hat uns auch sehr freundlich empfangen und stand für evtl. Fragen immer bereit. Auch das Grundstück ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt und zweimal die Woche kommt der Gärtner und sieht nach dem rechten.
Wir waren mit unseren beiden Hunden da. Und aus unserer Sicht ist die Gegend für Hundebesitzer ungeeignet. Trotz der unmittelbaren Nähe zum Meer und insgesamt 800km Küste, die Apulien besitzt, gibt es nur einen ausgewiesenen Hundestrand bei Lecce.
Und man wies uns darauf hin, daß es nicht gerne gesehen wird, mit den Hunden an den Strand zu gehen, trotz Saisonende. Was für uns anderswo nicht nie ein Problem war.
Die Olivenbaumhaine rund ums Trullo sind mit den teils uralten Olivenbäumen wirklich bemerkenswert!
Allerdings ist es mehr als traurig, daß die Straßenränder davor an den meisten Stellen zugemüllt sind und vielerorts einer Müllhalde gleichen.
Das war für uns erschreckend und ist einer so wunderbaren alten Kulturlandschaft einfach unwürdig.
Aber das Trullo mit seinem Gelände ist wirklich eine Wohlfühloase für erholsame Urlaubstage.

Der Empfang und die Übergabe war sehr sympathisch.
Das Trulli liegt etwas abseits an einer kleinen Straße. Die direkte Umgebung sind Olivengärten und kleine Höfe.
Bis nach ostini sind es ca 20 Minuten
Das Trulli selbst ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sogar Gewürze, Olivenöl und Wasser standen bereit.
Wir hatten etwas Probleme mit der Elektrizität,- die Sicherung flog ständig raus.

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in diesem sehr geschmackvoll und mit großer Liebe für Details renovierten Trullo verbracht. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll möbliert, die Betten sind gut, alles ist liebevoll ausgestattet.In der Küche ist alles Erforderliche vorhanden, es gibt eine Außenküche, wo man sich eine kleine Mahlzeit bereiten kann. Allerdings ist die Region mit sehr guten Restaurant bestückt. Das große Grundstück ist eine Oase, wir wünschten, wir wären im August gekommen, da dann Feigen und Birnen reif gewesen wären. Unser Empfang war sehr herzlich, der Kontakt zu Signora Siretta war über whatsapp jederzeit gegeben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
