Fabulous place! Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect to get to Mont St Michel. Nice restaurants nearby and groceries if needed are a short distance away. Picture prefect French countryside.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed exploring the local beaches and Mont Saint Michel. Yvette was very hospitable and friendly and went out of her way to make us feel at home. She even invited us round to meet her neighbours and celebrate her birthday which was so kind and welcoming. The cottage was very clean and tidy and well equipped with everything we needed for cooking family meals. The garden was a lovely place to relax too. We would highly recommend this cottage and hope to come back in the future.

Though the property is in a courtyard situation it is a very peaceful and quiet environment The owner lives next door with her grand daughter and family as your other neighbour The rear garden does adjoin the owner's but it is large enough to feel a private space Settle with a G nT as the sun goes down Listen to the abundant birds and relax We managed without heating but there was a wood burner if needed The kitchen is adequate and has a recent refurb with induction hob Just could benefit from a few more cooking dishes However we did cook every evening The house has a truly French decor and lots of original features reflecting the era of the build The owner is very pleasant and helpful and we found her grand daughter has perfect English if your French is not up to scratch

The property would be ideal for those who have time for an in depth study of Normandy. For example, a week rather than two nights. Still, we made the most of our time. We enjoyed Mont St Michel, Granville, Genet, and Dragey-Ronthon. We could have seen so much more if time allowed.

Dragey-Ronthon is about 30 km from Mont Saint-Michel. It is in the countryside in a very rural part of France. We loved our stay. Yvette is a great host. The property is very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much!

It's a charming house with garden. It has a lot of atmosphere. The house is very spacious! Lots of room for children to play inside and outside the house. It has all you need for a good holiday. Well equipped kitchen! Nice place to sit down and read, beautiful bedrooms, good shower and a lovely garden. The hostess gives you a very warm welcome and a very warm goodbye. The location is marvelous! Beautiful beaches nearby, wonderful walks, gorgeous nature and views everywhere! We had a great time!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le gite de Tissey. Très propre, fonctionnel et dans un cadre superbe. Pour info les réseaux mobiles Bouygues et Orange (pas essayé SFR) sont très limités et on ne capte pas du tout dans la maison et il n’y a pas de wifi non plus.

La location est vraiment fidèle au descriptif de l'annonce. La propriétaire est charmante, à l'écoute et très discrète. Le logement est très propre et bien situé pour découvrir le Mont-St-Michel et ses alentours. La cheminée est très appréciable pour réchauffer la pièce de vie.Seul petit bémol, le wifi qui est un peu capricieux, mais ce n'est pas grave: c'est parfait pour déconnecter! Notre séjour de quelques jours dans le Gîte de Tissey s'est révélé très agréable. Ce gîte fait partie d'un ancien corps de ferme qui a beaucoup de charme et est au calme. Il est de plus bien équipé et très fonctionnel, y compris pour les enfants en bas âges. Notre hôte Yvette s'est montrée très réactive et flexible vis à vis de notre heure d'arrivée. Nous la remercions chaleureusement. A noter que quand le temps est dégagé, il y a une très belle vue sur le mont saint michel à 100m du gîte.

Écoutez les conseils de la propriétaire Yvette, ils nous ont fait découvrir le château de Chantore, le Sol Roc et le restaurant Pause Des Genets qui tous nous ont ravis.
