Well-equipped Accommodation across the road from the slopes and gondola

Brand new, spacious accommodation that is very well equipped. The accommodation is across the road from the Gondola lift so not quite ski-in ski-out but very conveniently located. There are ski lockers under the accommodation with heated boot racks. The shop is also just a lift ride down and short walk away. The Tzoum Evasion ski school is based in the apartment block and the pool and daycare is across the road under the daycare. There is a great apre-ski bar next door that has live music some nights.

The check in process was terrible (although I've never found a ski resort that has perfected this over Feb half term!) When we arrived, there was no queue and we were able to check in. We were early and our room wasn't ready so we were told to come back for our keys. We returned later to chaos and had to queue again (with the people checking in) for our keys. There should have been a separate queue for those people who were already checked in. I would say the resort is more for intermediate/advanced skiers as there are only rather icy reds that lead down into the resort. One needs to take the ski bus from the resort to/from the blue/nursery slopes. The slopes on the Verbier side are amazing but to get back from any other resorts you need to catch a Gondola over from Verbier. This is very old and was not in operation every day so you need to be careful! We were stuck on it for over an hour one day due to wind.
