This charming house renovated in early 2014 for 6 people will seduce you with its delicate and refined atmosphere. There is a completely new kitchen (dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, kettle and toaster), a utility room (washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner) and a terrace with beautiful views (table, chairs and parasol) in a beautiful fenced garden not overlooked and planted with trees. Charcoal barbecue, table tennis table and some bikes are at your disposal. On the ground floor there is also a comfortable living room with 2 sofas, flat screen television and Wi-Fi, a beautiful fully tiled bathroom equipped with 180x800 cm chromotherapy bath, mirror unit, heated towel rail and hair dryer and a separate toilet. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms with great volumes with soothing tones, television and new 160x200 cm, 180x200 cm or 90x200 cm beds to choose from. Bed linen is provided by the owner. The bathroom is equipped with large walk-in shower with large shower head, mirror unit, heated towel rail and hair dryer and there is a separate toilet. The gîte can accommodate 6 people (extra baby cot available) who will also have the pleasure to admire wall-hung paintings of local artists that they can also buy.

We had a very relaxing stay at this lovely spacious gite. It was very quiet with occasional cheerful sounds from the next door primary school. It was a bonus to have a boulangerie next door. While it is in a rural setting, it is close enough for day trips to Paris. Thank you Sandrine from us all.

This cottage was exactly what we were hoping for - a quality property in a quiet French village that was positioned for easy access to the places we wanted to visit (Paris, Versailles, Monet’s garden, and Normandy beaches). The amenities were first rate with two bathrooms (one with a bath, one with a walk in shower), and two separate toilets. The beds were large and comfortable, and the rooms spacious and airy. The wifi was excellent. The garden was a delightful bonus - about half an acre of lawn and flowering shrubs. Off street parking was a bonus too, as was the bakery next door! Sandrine gave us a warm welcome and was an fantastic host. We enjoyed our week very much - thank you, Sandrine!,

Beautiful home and gardens! Unfortunately it was quite a ways to the bakery—I am kidding!!! It is so close and we enjoyed everything we had there. Great lunch at the restaurant a block away and location was perfect for exploring Giverny, Rouen and Honfleur. Sandrine was awesome!

Although this house is in a small and rather remote village, it was everything one could wish for in a French country home. It was recently renovated and very spacious and comfortable for our group of five ladies. The garden is lovely. Sandrine is a wonderful hostess and gave us a warm, friendly greeting and was very responsive throughout our visit. Sandrine was very welcoming - a baguette from the bakery next door along with bottles of cold cider greeted us. The garden is lovely, the home is very comfortable and decorated well. Sandrine provides lots of information for all the activities in the area - no need to go to tourist information center. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room, eating dinner in the large kitchen and sitting in the huge garden. Beds were so very comfortable and the home is spotless. Thank you, Sandrine.

My family and I enjoyed this renovated farm house from February 9th to the 12th and we were sad to leave when it came time to go. The home is very spacious and immaculately clean with a beautiful and spacious garden. The place is perfect for those seeking peace and quite of the French country side with a bakery open at 7am, 2 doors down the lane. Larger amenities are available in a 10 minute drive away (a car is a must). We were an hour and a half away from the Normandy beaches and less than an hour from Paris and Versailles. Sandrine is a very gracious and attentive host (Thank you for the treats!) We would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Ecos is a charming village in the French countryside. Sandrine provided everything needed for the visitor. Her house was extremely welcoming and had all necessary conveniences for those on holiday. The bakery two doors down the street was an excellent extra pleasure. A suitable location for those wanting to visit Giverny and not too far to drive for any of the war memorials if you are interested. I would highly recommend this property.

We were a group of six and had a lovely week at Le Jardin Secret. It really is a charming house and very comfortable. The bedrooms are well proportioned, the bathrooms new and spacious and with the kitchen / dining room opening out on to the lovely garden it is a very relaxing and sociable house to be in. You can see from various details that Sandrine, the owner, is clearly a great host - from the lovely shower gel provided to the welcome pack and flowers in the kitchen that were there on our arrival. The village of Écos is in a lovely rural setting - the boulangerie just next door is fabulous - and is well situated to get to many of the local attractions, particularly Giverny. I would thoroughly recommend Le Jardin Secret. Thank you Sandrine for your hospitality!

We stayed for three nights and our family of seven loved it. Sandrine was kind and very attentive to any needs or questions. The bakery next door is to die for.....some of the best pastries we had in all of France. It was a beautiful quiet village that was also quite close to Giverny to visit Monet's gardens. A delightful Gite with a beautiful garden

This Gite is presented to a high standard. It has 3 lovely double bedrooms, each tastefully decorated. The kitchen / dining room is well equipped and comfortably seats 6 people. The lounge is also of a good size with 2 comfortable sofas. The garden is absolutely delightful and lends itself so well to the name of the Gite - "The Secret Garden". There is an outside dining area, and 6 loungers in the garden. Everything you might want is available, from kitchen utensils to bicycles, along with some children's toys. The village of Ecos is very small small, and has very few facilities, however it is only a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. It is also no more than 15 minutes from a variety of excellent places to visit, including Monet's Gardens at Giverny and Domaine of Villarceaux. A very welcome touch was the tray of fresh breads, and the apple juice and milk provided. We also woke one morning to find a dozen fresh eggs on the doormat. Highly recommended.

We had spent a lot of time looking for a house that wasn't far from Paris yet close to other areas we could explore and that met the requirements of 2 adult offspring. This house was perfect and we were not disappointed when we arrived. The listing details were spot on and the property was very clean and clearly well looked after. The owner Sandrine could not have been more helpful and was always on hand if we needed anything but intrusive. The house was in a great location with a short drive to the railway station for access to Paris and to Monet's garden at Giverney. Plus the countryside around the area was lovely and it was an area we hadn't been to before. It was also lovely to sit in the warm sunshine in the lovely garden and relax. The house and location were great and would have no hesitation visitng again and recommending it to friends.

Our family stayed in this lovely home for a month, while touring Paris and Normandy. We took day trips to and from the city, as well as in the surrounding countryside and along the northern coast. The house itself is absolutely charming, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. Our three children were very comfortable in the uncluttered rooms and in the spacious garden. We enjoyed the use of a well equipped kitchen and laundry. There was always plenty of hot water and the large windows offered cross breezes. The owner is a hospitable and friendly person, who is eager to make your holiday a pleasant one. We certainly hope to return someday to this special place.
