The property was great apart from the leaking roof above the kitchen which we spent the first half of the week mopping up (maybe 0.25l of water per day). Apart from that everything was five stars.

We had an absolute dream of a week in Bormes les Mimosa and much of that dream was due to this gorgeous home. It was impeccably clean, fresh, bright and airy. We had amble space and the kids loved being in the downstairs apartment while my husband and I had a bit of peace and quiet in the upstairs apartment. The rooftop garden area was the gathering spot of choice - the view is breath taking. Check in was perfect, everything we needed in the kitchen we found easily and quickly. Five stars!!

The view from the terrace is amazing and the villa has a good placement in the little village. The kitchen has what is needed to cook. We ended up doing that almost all days. The bed situation is not made for 7 adults, the rooms where the bed draws out to two beds are not comfortable enough. Would be fine for one adult otherwise these need an update, The pictures are taken in a very favorable way and looks better than the reality.

Tiptop apartment, gorgeous view, perfect location in old Bormes
Tiptop apartment, gorgeous view, perfect location in old Bormes
We stayed for two wonderful weeks in this fabulous, spacious apartment, perfectly located in old Bormes. The apartment is modern, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, and some more. We were very lucky with the weather, and could use the outstanding terrace for some hours every day, in spite of the season. We could just imagine what it would be like up there during the warmer season. Fantastic! It must be the largest terrace in Bormes, with almost 360 degree view over the old town, sea, vineyards, mountains and valleys. But the view was as fabulous from the living room, where we could enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the sea with the beautiful old roofs of Bormes in the foreground. Several times during our stay we were contacted by Madame Caroline Gutierrez asking if everything was ok. Great service! We will definitely be back!

a little overpriced. ...needs a few things

This place sells itself on view, the problem is, the couch pillows on the deck must be 10 years old...it was pretty uncomfortable. we didnt even hang out there too much. the deck is gorgeous. also, we thought everythong was right there...services, groceries, etc... we had to drive a bit to find groceeies. and we were hoping not to need the car. also, no English television and music didn't work. he said to contact him with any problems, we did, he didn't respond. no contact. last, for over 200 a night, two towels and no wash clothes or hand towels seems stingy. manager was great and super nice, but doesn't speak English. the wine offered was also a nice touch. washer and dryer were very handy. place is on a tiny little walkway off an old street, very pretty, but all the shops are tourist shops place was clean.

We were a party of seven and the house had plenty of room and possibilities to spend time together and apart (we rented both parts of the house). The roof was amazing with stunning views and nice furniture. It even had an electric grill and was nicely shaded. The kitchen had every disirable piece of equipment. The bathrooms were new and very nice. The only cons I see is that the bottom part of the house (separate) is a little dark (ok lighting is provided) and tends to be a bit humid. Two washing machines and a dryer. Situated right in the middle La Village (the beautiful old part of town) close to the central square. A 15 minute drive to the beach. No supermarkets in town but four km away are good ones. Parking is a five minute walk away and free. The host Pierre and his helping hand on site Caroline were both extremely pleasant, eager to help and communication with Pierre via e-mail was quick. Caroline is not fluent in English (and I don’t speak French) but we managed fine anyway. She was very helpful and nice.

Fabulous apartment, great service, amazing views.
Fabulous apartment, great service, amazing views.
We booked both apartments for two weeks for a family holiday of mixed ages. We enjoyed the location, setting, views and all the mod cons you could possibly need. The roof terrace views are just so beautiful and the upper apartment has a lovely open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room with two arched windows shaping and setting yet more wonderful views. The apartment is set back from the Main Street in a beautiful cobbled yard and is very peaceful. The two apartments were ideal as it provided space for the two families to spend time together as well as have our own space. The downstairs apartment has a spiral open metal vintage style staircase which leads to the master bedroom, which is nice and cool with a lovely shower. The apartments are both in excellent order and in the centre of Borme so everything is easily accessible. I'd definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Situated in the center of old Bormes village this home lacks no comfort or convenience. We truly enjoyed our stay here. The owner was easily reached by email and responded immediately to inquiries. The home is kept perfectly clean and secure. Bormes is a quiet village in the winter with mild weather and lots of sunshine. We enjoyed walking in the neighboring hills and along the nearby coastline. We highly recommend this property to anyone interested in the comfort of a home away from home. It is really a 5+ property.
