Great chalet

Lovely getaway. Great view from the terrace, chalet is very well equipped. Hot tub was great but an expensive add on. Wish we had known the extra cost per person for sheets before we had departed for our trip. With only 2 of us staying there and using only 1 bed this seems very expensive. All in all a great stay but a bit of a headache with payment and needing to pay for all the add ons with cash.

This was a beautiful chalet in a fabulous setting. It was clean, and the bed particularly was very comfortable - something quite unusual normally in holiday rentals. The key collection was simple, and Delphine met us exactly as arranged. English renters should know that ‘Linen included’ means only bed sheets, duvet cover, duvet and tea towels - it does not include hand or bath towels. The kitchen was very well equipped, with plenty of cooking equipment and crockery etc., but we did notice the absence of some key items such as cheese grater, tin opener, glass bowl & kitchen scissors. We didn’t ask for them once we noticed, but we are sure that Delphine would have fixed it quickly if we had, but these items should be made available in the future. The electricity & water are charged by meter reading, which we knew in advance from reading the reviews, and it was good that it was priced exactly as it costs them from the supplier - so often when these utilities are extra, the owners mark up the cost and make themselves extra profit, so it was great to see that it didn’t happen here. The position locally was quiet, but all the facilities of Thônes were just a 3 minute drive away. We ate at the hotel in Thônes where Delphine worked, the food was good and well priced. We are cyclists, so being at the foot of some great climbs was good too. . The lost star is because of something we can’t abide - extra charges announced on arrival - an end of stay cleaning charge, unless we wanted to clean it thoroughly before we left. The description on Owners Direct does say ‘housekeeper optional’, but I don’t think anyone would directly translate that as meaning ‘cleaning charge payable, unless you do it yourself’. This kind of problem was pointed out in a review in March, when a group were surprised on arrival to find electricity charged for, and 3 months later this too has still not been updated in the property details. I can appreciate that these charges may be normal in a ski resort area?, but it is wrong that they are not clear on the website.

Le chalet est en tous points conformes à la présentation. Confortable, décoré avec soin et du goût, on s'y sent immédiatement à son aise. L'équipement est très complet. L'accueil est sympathique et les propriétaires sont véritablement disponible tout au long du séjour pour prodiquer des très bons conseils pour visiter la magnifique région (les stations de ski sont à quelques minutes). Petit plus très apprécié : la possibilité de commander des viennoiseries pour le petit-déjeuner. Nous reviendrons !!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre semaine à Thônes. Le logement était conforme aux photos, on se sentait tout de suite comme à la maison. Mention spéciale pour le jacuzzi extérieur qui nous a bien servis après nos grosses journées sportives. En revanche, le fait de disposer d'une voiture était primordial. En effet, la navette ne passait pas par le chalet à cause de la fermeture des remontées mécaniques. Cela peut s'avérer très gênant si on a décidé de partir exclusivement en train. Nous recommandons ce chalet et ses hôtes, qui ont su se rendre disponibles à l'écoute.

Le chalet est très agréable et très bien équipé, très propre et confortable. La vue de la terrasse est très belle . Le barbecue parfait. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons pris l'option jacuzzi ce qui a été un vrai plaisir (mais un peu cher selon moi cela devrait etre comprise dans le prix de la location, un parasol aurait été le bienvenu en sus car il est vraiment en plein soleil et il faut faire attention à la qualité de l'eau). La literie est bonne. Location à recommander

De l’accueil de Sylvain qui a tout fait pour que nous ne manquions de rien jusqu’a notre départ, nous avons profité du confort de ce chalet très bien équipé, neuf , et nous offrant une vue magnifique. Le choix de venir skier sur Manigod et le col de La Croix Fry s’est avéré très opportun, nous avons profité de ce domaine de La Clusaz sans les contraintes de cette grande station, tout est regroupé dans un espace familial. Nous ne pouvons que recommander sans retenue le chalet de Delphine et Sylvain.

Chalet neuf assez spacieux avec énormément d'équipement. Notamment pour bébé (chaise haute, lit, bain, tapis mousse pour langer bébé). Peut accueillir bcp de monde autour de la grande table à manger. Chouette localisation, belle vue, proximité des magasins, des pistes de ski et promenades de Manigod. Par contre le chalet n'est pas bien isolé car des zones de froid autour des portes et fenêtres. Vous payez un forfait pour les charges auquel vous devrez ajouter un montant en fonction de votre consommation (et ça monte assez vite). On entend fort ce qui se passe dans les autres chambres. Pas facile pour le bébé. Petit côté négatif au départ, vous avez le choix entre faire le ménage vous même ou payer pour qu'il soit fait mais malgré le payement il faudra nettoyer en partie. Ce qui est compréhensible. Par contre, si vous oubliez quelque chose vous devrez payer un supplément ou le faire directement. Remarque pas très sympathique de la propriétaire. Malgré ça nous avons passé un chouette séjour en famille.

We loved our stay in this well equiped and comfortable chalet. We stayed during one week and enjoyed swimming in Lake Annecy, hiking and biking in the mountains, having this chalet as our home. We loved the mornings and evenings on the terrace with view on the mountains. The only thing that was not clear from the website was additional costs (for cleaning, bed linen and electricity), at least on the Dutch site. But still, perfect house on a perfect location.

Durant la première semaine de juillet nous avons loué le chalet. L'accueil fut très cordial et professionnel. La situation est très bien, vue sur les massifs montagneux, à 5 min. de Thônes où on trouve tous les services. Le chalet est vaste associant une décoration du plus bon ton, moderne et traditionnelle. A 5 adultes nous avons passé une très bonne semaine, les chambres sont spacieuses et les salles de bain bien équipées. Après les randonnées quotidiennes il était très agréable de se reposer sur la terrasse avec un magnifique panorama.

Dans l'ensemble nous avons passé un bon séjour dans un très beau chalet. les + - Chalet tout neuf bien équipé, très bien pour neuf personnes - Bien situé, belle vue - Pas très loin de la Clusaz, 20 mn les - - Accueil un peu froid des propriétaires - Difficile d'accès en cas de neige ( prévoir chaine ! ) - et attention au charge ! car la facture monte vite si vous n'utilisez pas le poil ( bois non-founi )

La situation géographique es idéale a mi chemin des pistes et du lac d’annecy , parfait pour passer un agréable moment de ski. La disponibilitée et l’amabilité de la patronne fut exceptionnel. Je recommande vraiment ce chalet neuf et cosy à un prix plus que correct par rapport à la qualité de la prestation. À très vite et pour un séjour plus long j’espere. LR
