About this cottage rental
Come and enjoy peace and relaxation in our magnificent Norman half-timbered house, built in 1781 and restored in 2011–2012. Located in Normandy, in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, 22 km from Deauville and 14 km from Honfleur, you’ll find yourself just a stone’s throw from the D-Day landing beaches and in the heart of a popular tourist region.
We’ll give you the warmest welcome possible and look forward to sharing with you the charm, sophistication, and timeless appeal of our little corner of paradise. In our wooded and flower-filled park, featuring 8,000 m² of garden furniture, you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Part of the forest is open to the public. Heated, non-private pool
The vacation home features a fenced-in garden with a terrace and barbecue. First floor: Living room with fireplace / TV, DVD player, Wii - Fully equipped open-concept kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, washer, and dryer) - Restroom
Upper floor, master bedroom - 1 bed for 1 person on the landing - Second bedroom with bunk beds, two beds that can be joined with a mattress topper - Bathroom (hair dryer) with restroom

To help you relax as much as possible, we offer a very large, heated swimming pool with a gentle slope and a diamond-shaped end where you can perfect your diving skills.
In addition, we offer a delicious table d’hôtes, and we’ll be delighted to treat you to local specialties and dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
You’ll find a wide range of activities in our region, such as hiking and horseback riding, the beach and its water sports, swimming pools and thalassotherapy centers, casinos, golf, horse racing, theaters, and much more. There are many hiking trails starting right from our house...

Overall fantastic. House and pool excellent. Not big but perfectly cosy.Only constructive comment was that there wasn't enough hot water for a family of 4.

We had the most amazing stay in this beautiful gite. Robert was an excellent host, very considerate and discreet. Although it says the pool is shared with the owners, they dont use the pool so it’s totally private. Robert was very sweet with our boys and he let them ride on his lawn mower! The gite had everything we needed and is really lovely. The pool had very comfortable loungers and inflatables. It’s a great location too, amd walkable into the small town with three lovely bakeries. We really enjoyed our stay and will miss Robert’s very cute little dog. We would highly recommend this holiday!

We sought peace & solitude to recover from an emotional family event. This property delivered in spades. Robert and Karine were perfect hosts, kind, friendly, helpful and discrete. Having the gardens and pool to ourselves was a delight and enabled us to chat, read or rest as we chose. Truly a restorative holiday. We couldn't be more thankful.
