The studio was nice, well equipped and practical. The view was lovely of the beach and the sea, 2 minutes walk away. In October the terrace never got the sun because it was behind the house, which was very disappointing.
On Thursday of my second week preparations were made for the Salon de la Peche, which the lady of the house had told me about. They erected an enormous marquee inches from my terrace,which took two days of work, making lots of noise and completely blocked my view because it was big and high. Madame offered me the use of the top terrace which was attached to another house of theirs. It would have been nice to have been able to use it before because it was sunny most of the day.
The last two days were not happy ones because of the blocked in feeling and all the noise.
I would not go again in October to that studio.
