Ideal nearby Grand Pavois boat show in September (direct access and view of the Port des Minimes).
Beaches of the Minimes at the foot of the building (direct access has 20m of the beach).
Residence with elevator and outdoor parking.
Access to the Old Port with the smuggler (sea shuttle).
Nearby: bakery, market, sailing school, restaurants, supermarket of the port.
5min by car: aquarium, maritime museum, complex cinemas, supermarkets.
Shuttle inter-islands to Aix islands, Ile de Ré, island of Oléron.

Good location for visiting La Rochelle by ferry or walking. Building and grounds rather shabby, entrance from beach side to block very unwelcoming, barrier to car park broken therefore anyone can access the limited car space. Very small lift & lights on floor 5 on very very short timer not sufficient to negotiate key into tricky door lock. Apartment not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Bed built up against wall and steps needed to access. Also steps up to living/dining area as floor has been raised to access the large terrace. Small narrow galley kitchen. Shower over bath. Living/dining area quite modern but rest of apartment extremely dated needs completely gutting and renovating. Biggest problem coffee coloured water seeping through laminate floor boards which appeared on day 4 of our 6 day stay! On leaving pointed this out to the owner’s representative who agreed it seemed to be a major problem- so hope it is fixed for future visitors. Bed mattress cover not freshly laundered and pillow protectors stained plus used towel hanging up in bathroom!
