Ecological cottage by the river, in a large private wooded park for the exclusive use of tenants. Absolute calm, 1 km from the village.
Restored mainly in natural and ecological materials with quality equipment and furniture. Departmental classification 3 stars.
For 3 people (+ 2 occasional with supplement). Large sheltered terrace by the water. Provision of childcare equipment (high chair, booster seat, changing table, folding bed, bath, sandpit).
Close to the major tourist places of Burgundy: Vézelay, Saint-Fargeau, Nivernais canal, Guédelon castle, large Morvan lakes ...

Such an incredible stay! The house and property were so beautiful, quiet and charming. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast outside every morning. We were able to use their bikes to explore the lovely town. The host was so friendly and gave great recommendations. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place!

The proprietors father, who lives in the farmhouse next door, was delightful and could not have been more helpful. We were very sorry when our week was up.

Well equipped and very comfortable. The stream and fields are full of wildlife -including resident kingfishers deer and red squirrels. Very quiet A lot of interesting places to visit within easy reach by car. Lovely walks from the door around the village. Only downside is lack of places to eat and drink in village. Would recommend.

Lovely accommodation in the most peaceful surroundings.... Bbq and sit by the stream,,,, watch the kingfisher going up and down,,,, if you are lucky you may see a deer or two come out of the woods as the light fails.... Then as the light drops you glimpse the bats feeding but the best is yet to come,,, the big night sky,,,, amazing,,, can't remember seeing so many stars... Walk around this property's land,,,, great week...

Charming cottage in idyllic surroundings.

We spent a fantastic two weeks here in August 2017. The weather could have been kinder, but even in the rain this property is stunning. Watching the sun rise, with ghostly clouds of mist swirling on the distant fields and the babbling of the stream, was the perfect antidote to our city life. We spent hours just enjoying the natural environment around us, spotting deer, birds of prey, and a resident heron, to name but a few. Within a few miles drive along almost deserted roads there are miles of canal towpath for easy walking or cycling, with the occasional boat negotiating the evenly spaced locks providing additional interest. A little further afield you will find the sprawling vineyards of Chablis and Sancerre, with a huge range of vintages on sale at the local supermarket. The only disappointment we had was the lack of restaurants open for business. However, to be able sit in the garden and eat very well was equally enjoyable. If you really want to get away from it all, but also have plenty of good walking and picturesque villages to explore nearby – or fancy a bungee jump off the nearby viaduct (every other Sunday) then this is the place to stay. Highly recommended.

Domaine du Sources is a place of total quiet and peace in the middle of nature. With a fresh water spring running quietly right outside your window, and the spacious and beautifully designed interior, and vast private garden, you have the perfect vacation in the middle of nature. You will find fresh water ponds, views of open wheat fields, and a forest for exploring, with many nature walks in the area. The cottage is excellently outfitted with all you need to do your own cooking, or if you prefer the excellent restaurant L'Auberge des Sources is a five minute drive from the estate. Auxerre, just half an hour away is a lovely town with an old center, beautiful cathedral and many dining possibilities. Fontenay Abbey and Vezelay with its Romanesque cathedral are within driving distance. In addition to all of that, the hosts are delightful; warm and welcoming, ever so helpful when you need assistance or advice and they have an absolute respect for your privacy. We stayed at the Domaine last summer, choosing it randomly as a pause in our travel to Southern France. This year we decided that this vacation spot has all we wanted, so didn't bother to travel further south. We can't wait to return.

This house has the complete equipment you need for a fine holiday. It is situated in a very quiet and nice, old landscape. The near by village of Druyes is an 'village historique' . The host is friendly and helpful.

Net terug van een heerlijk verblijf. Zeer ruim huisje met alle huishoudelijke voorzieningen en buiten een zee van privé terrein. Het dorpje op loopafstand waar de primaire dingen te krijgen zijn. Omgeving is prachtig en als je er oog voor hebt zie je elke dag vossen, reeen en meer. Naast het huisje een kabbelende beek, omgeving met zonnebloemvelden, geen verkeer. Er zijn stoelen en ligbedjes voor buiten beschikbaar.

Einfach wunderbar

Pure Entspannung in einem riesigen Garten. Man sitzt direkt am Bach, der aus der Quelle auf dem Anwesen gespeist wird. Tolles Ferienhaus mit alten, dicken Mauern (die Hitze bleibt draußen). Schön eingerichtet und alles da, was man braucht. Herzlicher und warmer Empfang, also einfach alles Klasse!

Heerlijk rustig gelegen op het landgoed oude "schuur" van alle gemakken voorzien en in een prachtig privé park. "papa" (86 jaar ) is altijd aanwezig en zeer behulpzaam. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst van Pascale. Echt voor mensen zonder of met1 kind die absolute rust willen. Je moet wel van autorijden houden, want de dichts bijzijnde supermarkt is al gauw 20 minuten rijden. Mooie wandelingen in de buurt is ook aan te raden. Wij waren er toen het 35 graden was en dan is het riviertje met zijn 12 graden niet zo heeeeel erg koud meer. Echt een plekje om tot rust te komen! Pascale et Papa merci beaucoup !!!!

Bijna teveel positieve punten om op te noemen. Maar hierbij een aantal; vriendelijke eigenaren, verzorgde en compleet ingerichte woning, rust, prachtige gigantisch grote tuin, veel herten en roofvogels kunnen zien. Al met al; een aanrader!

Séjour très agréable (une semaine en juillet 2017). Le gite est confortable et bien équipé. La proximité de la forêt et de la rivière apportent une fraicheur bien agréable par temps de canicule. Le calme et la tranquillité de la campagne. Les enfants ont adoré patauger dans la rivière derrière la maison et y pêcher grenouilles et petits crustacés. Le village est très beau, la supérette suffit pour quelques jours. Petit bémol sur les routes d'accès : c'est vraiment la campagne à des kilomètres à la ronde. Le téléphone ne passe pas et il n'y avait pas internet. Parfait si vous voulez couper les ponts, sinon, il faut faire avec...

Space, Nature, Peace and Quiet

The cottage is outfitted in excellent authentic style of the old mill it was in the past, with a large living room\dining area, functional kitchen and pleasant bedroom. All the time the lovely sound of the quiet bubbling of the spring water outside the window. An excellent restaurant just 5 minutes away. A perfect center from which to discover surrounding churches and countryside, although the cottage was so wonderful, during our week's stay, we had to force ourselves out to explore the surroundings. Such friendly hosts. This place is a jewel!
