A few steps from the Jewish area of Budapest Spacious and bright apartment with three bedrooms (two bedrooms and a living room) with 1 bathroom with toilet and also 1 separate toilet.
The apartment is ideally located, very quiet - with a fantastic location!
The 95m2 apartment located on the second floor (without elevator) in a former palace of the century. The apartment is bright and spacious. When you enter is in a spacious hallway overlooking the living room. The bedroom has an orthopedic king size double bed. The bathroom with a bathtub, 2 sinks. Fully furnished and equipped, ADSL Internet, Wifi, cable TV. Windows overlook the street. The condo is very quiet and silent. The apartment is located near New York cafe, the most beautiful cafe in the world. Rákózi street very well served by public transport, bus stop 7 and metro linea 2 and 4.. Under the apartment there are also two supermarket open daily 6-22 (coop, Aldi), Budapest Étterem and Rákóczi Grillház, Blaha Lujza tér (square) The famous square is 8 minutes walk, where there are many choices which restaurant for dinner, and where to have coffee after the show at the Moulin Rouge, Opera, Theater Operette the Broadway area and the Jewish entertenment quarter of Budapest. Welcome to my chic apartment :). The apartment has a fantastic location! The property is in central Budapest, it is only a short walk (10 mins) to Kiraly utca and the Jewish District where all the nightlife happens and the best restaurants are. The Erkel theater is near of the property, here operas and other musical performances are shown. Octagon is only 10 mins walk away also, here you can walk down the beautiful shopping boulevard called Andrassy. Transport links are excellent; on the same road is a Metro Line 4 station (II. Janos Pál pápa tér), around the corner is a Metro Line 2 station (Blaha Lujza tér, Keleti pályaudvar) and also the tram station for lines 4 & 6 which run 24 hours. The flat is very close to Keleti rail station which links Budapest to the rest of Eastern Europe. There are plenty of shops around the flat including a Coop store on the same road, and Aldi around the corner. The entire flat is for your sole use and is completely private. The Danube, the Parliament, the Heros'Square, the great thermal baths, the Opera, the Jewish district, theaters, museums, restaurants, cafes, pubs are all in walking distance. The apartment is bright and spacious. The trendy apt has a unique zen atmosphere. Absolutely centrally located but in a quiet area. Great public transportation. Washing machine, hair dryer, iron, water boiler, tv, internet etc. are available. Many restaurants, cafes, pubs, theaters are nearby. Perfect vacation for 6 people too.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit im schönen, sauberen und sehr großen Appartement von Ilona, die sehr nett ist und viele Tipps gibt. Das Bett ist super und es gibt ausreichend Raum. Man ist schnell an 2 nahe gelegenen Metrostationen. Die direkte Umgebung und der Innenhof sind nicht sehr einladend, was aber kein Problem ist, da das Appartement schön ist und die Gegend sicher wirkt. Einzig anzumerken ist, dass das Appartement nichts für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf ist, da alle Zimmer mit Schlafmöglichkeit zur sehr lauten Hauptstraße hin gelegen sind. Thank you very much Ilona!

After trying to book another apartment Llona quickly messaged us to inform us that it was unavailable on the dates and offered us this apartment which she also owned. From the start she kept in regular contact with us to offer advise and to arrange check in. She gave her personal WhatsApp to do this and was there if we had any issues at any point of the trip.
The apartment itself is well equipped with everything you need. Kitchen is equipped with utensils to cook. All the rooms are a good size with high ceilings which give a good feeling of space. The wifi is fast, and we were able to stream TV. To get into the apartment block you have to access a locked door which can be electronically unlocked from the inside and then the same situation with a gate to access the the stairs to get up to the 2nd floor, so it is very safe.
Directly across the road from there is Aldi, so it was quick and easy to buy food as we decided to cook. Within a 5 minute walk you reach the northern side of the Jewish Quarter and 10 minutes walk to the more trendy bars and restaurants. Within a few minutes there is a metro station to give good links to the whole city. However, we found that most sights were within a 30 minute walk. Whether that was the sights around the river to the south or Hero's Square and city park to the east. So if you like walking and taking in other cities, it's in a good central location. And if you don't like walking, well it's about 3 minutes to the metro station and there are bus stops close by too.
Overall, the apartment was everything we needed, hoped for and more. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend this apartment (and her other apartment if this was is not available) to friends and family.

Recently spent several night’s at Ilona’s and would definitely go back.
Large, spacious and comfortable. Tram and metro 3 blocks away, easy to walk too. Public transportation in Budapest cheap and easy. Ilona was waiting for us even though we were late getting there. You do have three flights of stairs to climb but they are easy steps. Shallow and wide. Grocery store right across street. Bicycles are safe in the courtyard at street level. Recommend this address.
