About this cottage rental
' La Vigiere' house, an old stable from the 19th century transformed in a nice getaway for families or couples in a calm area in this small village surounded by vineyards on the Moulidars hill near the the Charente river.
Large enclosed private corridor in front of the house with wood gate and with covered parking in the old stable building adjacent to the main house (old stable)
Behind the main house , large 'romantic' terrace equipped w carved stone hand rail..and view on the the backyard, the vineyards and the valley of the Charente.
Multiples old stone houses and castles near by along the river.
Do not miss with a glass of the famous 'Pineau'...the superbs sunsets from the terrace facing South...equipped with dinning stone table.
The house is equipped with a central heating system to enjoy all around the year this beautifull old house.

Formidable semaine dans cette belle maison charentaise très spacieuse et très bien équipée. Le salon et la cuisine, très grands, donnent sur une belle terrasse et un jardin bien agréable. La vue sur les vignes et les couchers de soleil sont superbes! L'endroit est très calme.
La maison est idéalement placée et permet de bien rayonner dans la région. Il existe aussi de nombreux itinéraires de promenade.
je souligne aussi l'excellent accueil d'Alain et Claudine, très chaleureux et sympathiques.
Nous avons été conquis, et reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Very nicely renovated house with plenty of space, well equipped, and with a lovely terrace overlooking vineyards and fields. Owners are local and very friendly and helpful. Nothing much in the village but only a few minutes drive to Hiersac for boulangerie and a few other shops, and big supermarkets within about 20mins drive. Nice roads for cycling, and villages on the Charente to visit.
