Behind the house Glückauf is a forest area in which the Ribnitzer Hochmoor is located. The seaside spa Graal-Müritz is located between Rostock and the peninsula Fischland-Darss-Zingst. The village stretches for 5 km on the Baltic Sea and is almost completely surrounded by the forest area Rostocker Heide. In Graal-Müritz live about 4000 inhabitants. The place offers various shopping possibilities. Sights are u. a. the 350m long pier, the 4.5 ha rhododendron park, the local museum, the old Büdner houses, the Graal-Müritz church with its 26 m high tower or the Ribnitzer Hochmoor.
