To start, the apartment is very nice and well appointed. Check in was difficult. There was no information provided ahead of time other than an address to meet the "concierge". She provided no information other than an address to the unit and parking. A little advice and info could have saved us an unmeasurable amount of stress trying to navigate a car inside the walls of St Malo. The upcharge to have towels and bed linens seemed petty, and it was. Each of us received 1 cheap scratchy bath and hand towel. The hot water tank was not working upon arrival and took 4 days to fix. There were numerous intrusions, exasperating conversations and time taken away from our vacation to address the problem. On our 3rd day, a second professional confirmed the hot water tank failure (at 8am) and the owners scheduled the replacement for the next day. On our 4th day the replacement began at 8am, and by that evening we had hot water. The owners did offer us a 250-euro refund for 4 days of inconvenience and intrusion. Ultimately the apartment is great and amazingly located. However, if you have any problems the owners are cheap, arrogant and put their financial concerns above the comfort of the guest.

Our family of 6 had an amazing and comfortable stay at this flat. The location is second to none . . . right in the heart of Saint-Malo old town. I really cannot say enough good things about the location. It was perfect. The apartment is very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Our two 7 year olds and one 5 year old really enjoyed the "kids loft" (low ceiling so made for kids under 5 foot tall). Pascale went above and beyond to make the check in and check out super easy for us. I hope we can come back some day.

We enjoyed our stay a great deal at this beautiful flat which is in an ideal location. Take note that there are additional fees not included when booking on the VRBO site for bedding, and also for towels for the kitchen and bathroom if you choose not to bring your own. Also, the garage that is advertised in the title of the listing is an option for guests, but also incurs a separate fee paid to the owner after arrival.

It's been many years since I was in St. Malo and used to stay at hotels but this VRBO is centrally located and well-maintained. We were two couples and a 13 year-old son who happily had the mezzanine to himself. NOTE that there are two rooms with bath/shower but only one TOILETTE. And you will need to let the owner know whether or not you would like sheets/towels, which come at an extra fee. The main door to the street was always open for some reason, but we just kept closing it when we endtered or left. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful apartment located in the heart of Saint-Malo. The apartment is fully equipped and modern. Step out of the front door and you're in the middle of the bustling life within the city walls. We parked our car right outside the city walls and didn't need it unless we were venturing to another city (e.g., Dinan). The entire city within the walls is walking distance. All the surrounding beaches and ferries are walking distance as well. Our family loved our stay and the hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Thank You!

This apartment is clean, newly furnished with up-to-date everything, and beautifully decorated. It would be comfortable for 2 couples or a family of 4-6, but my husband and I enjoyed the spaciousness for just us two. There are two bedrooms with beds not as large as American Kings and Queens, but otherwise great. There is one WC and two "bathrooms", one with a shower and one with a tub, which was challenging to enter and exit if you are short; a bath mat to reduce the slippery surface would be good. The tub would not work for someone with mobility issues. The same issue is true of the bar stools at the kitchen counter, the seats are very high. Finding the step stool in the second bedroom was helpful for a short person like me! Located on one St. Malo's busiest shopping streets, the apartment is an oasis of calm and quiet, yet you are right in the center of the old town whenever you wish, and nothing is more than a ten-minute walk--over cobblestone streets--away in the "Intra-Muros." Bakeries, tea shops, grocery stores are even closer. American travelers should note that the owners do not provide supplies that are always found in American-owned apartments: hand and bath soap and toilet paper. Everything else--dishes, cooking utensils, towels, is there, but a heads up about the other amenities would have been helpful before arriving, especially if you arrive on a Sunday or holiday when the nearby grocery is closed. In addition, there is a charge for all bed linens used and a charge for using the underground parking garage several blocks away. Getting in and out of the inner city in a car is quite challenging at first; getting in and out of the parking garage was challenging every time. A guide to the "best restaurants" or "best things to do in St. Malo" in English would have been helpful, as well as a guide in English for operating the combo washer/dryer, but we made use of the information in French as best we could. Almost all shop/restaurant staff speak excellent English, and everyone was gracious and friendly. This place looks just like the photos, and the local woman who assisted us with the move in-move out was also very helpful. St. Malo was a great place for a restful sea-side vacation, with a few side trips to Dinan, Dinard and Mont Ste. Michel.

The apartment was near the Port St Vincent which gave easy access to the external car parks and all the necessary facilities, groceries, bakers and restaurants, were within a short walk from the front door. The enclosed garage was a blessing for us as our holiday included the weekend of 'Toussaint' and the city was extremely busy. The apartment was very comfortable for 5 adults, warm , cosy and quiet. Madame D, who met us on arrival and on leaving, was most helpful and very pleasant. All in all we had a very restful and pleasant holiday in St Malo and would highly recommend this delightful apartment to friends and family.

We arrive (7 of us) late afternoon. Were told by Servane, to park outside the building to unload our luggage. Later she would take us to the car park at 10 minutes walk. Servane had asked us to message her as soon as we knew what time we were to arrive, so that she could be there to meet us. The minute I walked in , saw the wide corridor and the beautiful lit Christmas tree, tastefully decorated with painted white driftwood and gold and silver balls...I knew this was better than good. I was so happy with my decision to have chosen this apartment.

We had a great stay at this aparment in Saint Malo. We enjoyed the winter calm and the christmas spirit very much! The apartment offers a wonderful retreat within the old town. Within a minute walk, you can go for coffee or a nice dinner, buy baguette or fresh seafood, within three minutes you can walk to the beach or head up the remparts. Despite its proximity to it all, the apartment itself is very quiet. The window of the main bedroom open to an inner courtyard, living room to a rather quiet side street. During our nine days stay, the extremely well equipped apartment left nothing to be desired. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, cutlery and dishes were sufficient, as is all other equipement. Everything was very clean! One or two international TV channels would have been nice, but there was a good internet connection for international news on our own device. The communication with the owners was very friendly and the local handling/management of the apartment was professional and friendly. We highly recommend this apartment and would happily stay there again!

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Ferienwoche in Saint-Malo verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Ausstattung ist toll. Hier wurde an alles gedacht. Pascal und seine Frau haben uns vor Ort begrüßt. Sie verwalten die Wohnung für die Eigentümer. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns gezeigt, wo wir parken können. Die dazu gebuchte Garage ist klasse und nur 5 Gehminuten vom Objekt entfernt. Pascal ist sehr herzlich und er und seine Frau haben uns auch mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Die Wohnung ist ein Traum. Oben ruhig und direkt hinter der Haustür steht man mitten im Leben. Super Zuschnitt, hohe Decken, tolles Raumgefühl. Viel Platz für die mitgebrachten Kleidungsstücke. Der nächste Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke und sit von 7-21 Uhr geöffnet. Würden wir sofort wieder buchen.

Appartement en tout correspondant a la description et aux photos voir même mieux du fait de la surface 110m2 et des très haut plafonds ! Appart refait complètement très recement, Hyper propre, déco à notre goût. Cuisine très complète. 2 sdb ... pour les familles avec ado ou 2 couples c est idéal. La seconde chambre avec mezzanine est suffisamment bien faite pour que ceux qui y dorment aient leur propre espace. Localisation intra-muros pas.beso8n de voiture !!! Les chambres donnent sur une cours intérieure donc très calme. Bref je recommande sans hésitation.

Bel appartement moderne, décoré et équipé avec soin, qui nous a permis de séjourner de nouveau avec grand plaisir à Saint-Malo. Il y a un petit supermarché juste au coin de la rue et la belle plage du sillon se trouve à 2 enjambées. Le seul bémol concerne le bruit inévitable de la rue Sainte-Marguerite sur laquelle donnent les grandes fenêtres du salon. Les fêtards qui crient le soir ou les véhicules de nettoyage des rues ou de livraison qui passent tôt le matin peuvent déranger si on laisse une fenêtre ouverte dans la pièce principale pour avoir un courant d'air lors des journées plus chaudes. L'espace de couchage en mezzanine dans une des chambres est peu ventilé et nous l'avons trouvé toujours assez chaud, de ce fait il peut s'avérer nécessaire de garder plusieurs portes intérieures et fenêtres ouvertes. Dans ce cas prévoir bouchons d'oreilles.

Un appartement idéalement situé et de grande qualité, magnifiquement décoré et offrant tout ce qui est nécessaire pour passer un excellent séjour. Les enfants étaient ravis par leur chambre et les jeux de société étaient bienvenus. On a pu pleinement apprécier notre belle semaine de vacances. Et le petit plus: les équipements bébé nous ont facilité la logistique. Encore un grand merci!

Un appartement très sympa avec un emplacement idéal : remparts, boutiques, restaurants, plage. Des attentions particulières de la part des hôtes très appréciables (garage). Un léger bémol sur la propreté, nous avons opté pour le supplément ménage et aurions aimé que l’appartement soit nickel pour nous, toutefois mes propos sont à mesurer car je reconnais être excessivement maniaque. Je recommande vivement ce logement.

Es war herrlich. Die Wohnung, St.Malo Intra-Muros mit seinen kleinen authentischen Restaurants und Läden, die herrlichen Strände, das smaragdgrüne Meer ..... Alles ist fußläufig errichbar. Aber auch Ausflüge in die Umgebung sind ein absolutes Erlebnis. Ein Aufenthalt hier ist zu jeder Jahreszeit eine absolute Empfehlung!!!
