2 rooms, Quai Des Etats Unis Nice, exceptional view of the sea

This was our third stay at this lovely apartment right on the Promenade. I cannot say enough good things about our stay starting with the careful attention and excellent communication with Pierre and Elena. The apartment is clean and well equipped and has a delightful balcony which for us is the absolute highlight. The location: simply cannot be better. The flower market is steps away with delicious local produce and products. Easily accessible are several small grocery stores with everything one needs. There is a boulangerie right around the corner with amazing fresh breads. And of course, la plage, steps from the apartment. This has been our absolute favorite vacation spot. Many thanks Pierre!!

Great view from windows and balcony. Handy to old town and center. Real queen bed. Good shower w plenty of hot water. Only complaint was inadequate intro to appliances. Plan to stay again.

My husband and I absolutely loved our 9 nights in Pierre's apartment overlooking the bay. Coming from the Arizona desert, having an impeccable water view was fantastic. We could spend hours just watching the water sports happening right outside our balcony. The apartment was set up with everything one could want--the easy-to-use washing machine was my favorite feature. but there was a dishwasher, oven, cooktop, too. The walk-in shower was a big hit, also. The location could not be beat, right there at Old Town. We walked to many sights, but one day took to Hop On Hop Off bus to get a bigger overview of the city. We also took bus 81 to get to Villa Ephrussi on Cap-Ferrat. The villa and gardens were a spectacular sight. When we booked the apartment a year ago, I had no idea that the Euro 2016 was being played in France. Nice hosted a game right after we arrived and one on the day we were leaving. A mini-fan zone took place daily right below us. I realize that our trip to Nice was impacted by the huge influx of sports fans coming to cheer on their teams, but now we know what all of the fuss is about! If we ever come back to Nice, you can be sure that we will check with Pierre if his apartment is available.

This was a great little apartment. The view was spectacular both day and night. From inside the apartment, you feel like you are on a ship! Pierre was very easy to work with and he arranged a pick up for us at the airport, much less expensive than a taxi. The apartment is exactly as pictured and is immaculate. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is newly remodeled. Though small, it is perfect for a couple or a couple with a young child. Because of the double paned windows, it is very quiet. The location could not have been better. Cours Saleya is a few minutes walking and you can buy all your ingredients to cook a nice meal while enjoying the view from the apartment. Be sure to pick up a nice bouquet of flowers at the marche aux fleurs to enjoy during your stay; very reasonably priced. The tram to the train station is also just a few minutes walking so you can take train trips around the Riviera. Old town is also very close. Everything worth seeing in Nice is within an easy walk of this apartment. We could not enjoy the lovely balcony because it was very windy during our stay. However, because of the windy condition, we were able to hear the waves and they lulled us to sleep at night with the slider open. We would definitely recommend this apartment to others visiting Nice and the Riviera and hope to return again soon. Thank you, Pierre, for a lovely stay in Nice!
