Perigord farmhouse with 3000m2 wooded park and secure private pool

Grandparents, children and grandchildren staying in a very well equipped Gite, large garden with children games equipment, lovely fenced, alarmed pool, lovely outdoor eating area, super barbecue . No interference from owners but who quickly responded to any minor problem. A lovely relaxed family holiday. Thank you

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Anna Chiara, tout était identique à l'annonce et le lieu était parfait pour nos 3 famille ( 2 couples, 3 enfants et une personne seule). Le lieu est magique et propice à 'à détente et l' amusement en famille. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l'occasion se présente.

We had a lovely time staying at this Gite and the owner was very helpful. The local village was really very small, a small shop, a boulangerie and that’s about it, sadly no restaurant within walking distance and not much exploding to be done with kids. The house itself was very nice and the gardens were well kept and plenty big enough to occupy the children. The pool is quite small but ok if the kids are young as ours were. It’s worth noting that the two upstairs bedrooms...the double and twin are in the eaves and have limited head height and are joined by a short corridor rather than a door. In fact you have to walk through the twin the get to the double so only really suitable for kids. And very hot up there in the hot weather. I don’t think this was clear in the listing. My only real complaint was the fact that we were charged 10 euros per person for sheets and towels, not ideal, but made worse by the fact that they were cheap 100% polyester sheets which rustled as you moved and made you sweat in the heat. If you must charge extra at least supply cotton sheets please. Overall we had a lovely stay. But next time i’d take some mosquito repellent!

Great house for a big family. Has every thing you would need. Lots of outdoor space for.children to play. Although the pool is a bit smaller than expected its great for toddlers and very safe. Lots of lovely places to visit within a short drive. No supermarkets nearby so you need to plan your shopping well. There is a bar/shop a couple of minutes away (very friendly ) for those essentials: bread, milk, fruit veg, some freezer stuff. I recommend the local Perigod red they sell. We spent a wonderful 2 weeks there.
