We enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely hosts, beautyful countryside and a funny chicken. All was very clean. Kids loved the pool and the boat. Everthing was there you need for a longer stay including a grill. One very (!) small drop of water in the wine: my mattress was a bit saggingSo what should I say further? We will come back.

This house has it all - comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean and ideally located with everything you need. The presentation of the house could not be faulted, fresh and bright decoration throughout, stylish and comfortable furnishings and a modern kitchen. We were immediately made to feel welcome with cider and cake. The garden is gorgeous and ideal for sitting in the sun, eating alfresco with the added advantage of a private pool when temperatures are high. The surrounding area has numerous locations to visit along with some excellent restaurants. Alain was amazing and went above and beyond : providing us with a friendly welcome, recommendations, providing fresh produce from the garden and communication was great throughout. We would not hesitate to return there in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The house is beautiful, set in large gardens which were fun for my family to explore and play in. It felt like a home from home, comfy beds and a well equipped house, allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday. Alain was so helpful and accommodating. The nearby towns of Rochefort and La Gacilly are lovely to explore and there are plenty of good beaches only 30-40 minutes away.

When selecting places to stay the feedback left by previous guests is very important. In this instance the property, location and experience exceeded our expectations. Fabulous is not to strong a discription. We travelled up from Nantes with a party of 6, an easy 1.25hr drive. Arriving on an early flight we were advised by Alain to stop off and visit the large animated puppets. Amazing. There is so much to see in Morbiham, within a short drive of the property and we'd strongly recommend visits to tourist information centres, found in most towns. We found a park next to a lake in pluherlin near Rochefort en Terre which had plenty of activities for our two children. The property is next to a river in rural France with plenty of walks. It's quiet during the day but you will hear night life. We had a bat in our room one night! Our children used the boat and pool that Alain had just completed building. Thank you Alain, you made our holiday one to remember.

Quiet with lovely grounds, This was a beautiful garden spot. Our host greeted us with beer as he finished up readying inside the house. Each room had a different decor but did not look over staged. Good workable kitchen, I felt our host was near if we needed him but not so near if we didn't. He also brought us red=tipped lettuce from his garden and a few cherries a neighbor had gifted him.

Nice 4 day break, house as described by a peaceful river, close to Peillac village (approx. 5 minute drive) and Rochefort en Terre (awarded village of the year 2016, approx. 10 min drive).. our trip was beginning of October.. Alain was helpful and pleasant a good host.. the house is well presented, clean and well equipped, impressive living space with wood pellet heater, modern kitchen, 2 good shower rooms and 4 bedrooms (linen and towels provided clean and fresh).. Internet is a hit and miss affair but not important to us, so no problem.. we were left to our own devices no interference, and no rush to be out by a certain time.. 5 out of 5 is fair and honest, have a good time ..

We spent five days here-- we are long time VRBO/Homeaway renters, and this is without a doubt the best place we have seen in 15 years renting. The house itself is spacious, very nicely decorated and it feels very much like a home away from home. Lots of small touches to make the house comfortable. It is not the bare sort of place one so often encounters in holiday rentals. The location is superb ---3 km outside Peillac. Easy to run into town to the bakery, or to the cafe for a coffee. The locals at the cafe greeted us each morning with a "bonjour" and a handshake. Malansac is just 9-10 km away, with its splendid Super U supermarket -- which has really high quality food ( cheese, fresh fish, fresh vegetables). Alain, our host, was cordial, quick to help ( with restaurant recommendations when we asked for help, and for arranging bike rentals so we could bike along the beautiful Nantes Brest canal. Easily the best gite we have stayed in! The attention to detail is immediately obvious - the owners have created an exceptional holiday home. Thought has been given to outdoor relaxation with the provision of sunloungers, table, chairs and BBQ. We found the property immaculatley clean, well maintained and very well equipped. (From a female point of view - the quality of the soft furnishings, including bed quilts, is amazing for a rental property). The boat and fishing were a welcome bonus for our boys - as was the endless entertaiment of catching frogs! The (antique ?) wardrobe in the living area holds a surprise second only to finding the entrance to Narnia! ;) a very innovative use of old furniture!! The owners were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The river did not actually come up to the house, as in the pictures, due to silting which is to be sorted out this autumn. Nearest supermarket is 10 mins away in Malansac, although the village shop is unexpectedly well stocked. The village has a friendly atmosphere and we were made welcome. We enjoyed 2 trips to the Monday market in Questembert. Nearby Rochefort en Terre is worthy of it's status as a Plus Beaux Village. We had a thought provoking visit to the Musee de la Resistance Bretonne in St Marcel. Our best 'find' was the restaurant 'Chez Bernard' in St Martin sur Oust - Moules Frites mmmmmm! We were the second booking for this gite and highly recommend it - the only place we have stayed, that we would consider returning to! Oh! and we had the priveledge of watching a whole family of otters foraging and then going back to the river for a swim!!

Nombreuses choses à voir dans les environs en prenant la voiture (villages de caractère, ...) Facturation Abritel un peu compliquée...

Wir waren mit 2 Familien in dem schönen Haus. Die Fotos geben das Objekt selbst gut wieder. Toll war das riesige Areal, das wir nutzen konnten. Angeln am Flüsschen, planschen im Pool, in der Hängematte unterm Apfelbaum die Seele baumeln lassen! Die 4 Hühner und die Katze, die regelmässig zu uns an den Frühstückstisch kamen, haben wir schnell ins Herz geschlossen...Danke an Alain, den freundlichen und unkomplizierten Vermieter, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Une propriété toute en harmonie avec l'image qu'on se fait de la Bretagne "de l'intérieure" : maison charmante, invitation à la flânerie, endroit poétique, merveilleux... L'intérieur est rénové avec beaucoup de goût et de personnalité (amoureux d'Ikea, passez votre chemin) - beaux matériaux, très bonne literie. Le poêle réchauffe la maison toute entière en offrant un grand confort thermique sans aucune humidité malgré la rivière qui coule aux portes de la maison. Alain nous accueille simplement, et s'inquiète, sans trop en faire, de notre confort et satisfaction. Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour et nous recommandons fortement cette destination.

Wir waren mit 2 Familien mit je 2 Kindern hier und haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Sowohl Haus und Grundstück als auch Allain, der Vermieter haben einen wunderbaren Charme. Wir haben viele Radtouren unternommen, waren Paddeln und am bzw. im Atlantik, haben alte Châteaus besucht und romantische Ortschaften gesehen. Der neue Swimmingpool und das kleine Ruderboot haben den Kindern besonders gut gefallen. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschönen Ferien!
