About this house rental

This independent Breton house with enclosed courtyard brings you all modern comforts. It is quiet in the countryside, only 3 kms from the center of Dinan and less than 2 of all shops.

On the ground floor, on 40 m2 you have a large living room, with wood stove, books, board games, TV DVD players and CD / radio, and a separate fully equipped kitchen, (fridge / freezer, stove and gas oven, dishwasher, microwave). You can sit there for the meal. You have direct access to the terrace facing south. (plus a WC with washbasin and laundry, adjacent.)

Upstairs, you find two suites with each for a shower room (large shower) and WC closed. Corner rest, wardrobe ... 1 bed 140 X190 for the pink room, and 2 beds 80X190 can be joined for the blue one.

Outside, in the courtyard an equipped terrace (dining table, barbecue, parasol, armchairs), a shelter for the car and / or your bikes, and a bowling green. In addition there are outdoor games.
The cottage has a WIFI internet access, educated dogs are allowed on the ground floor. The cottage is non-smoking. (cot, high chair available on request)
The package includes stay maintenance and preparation of the cottage, beds made on arrival and supply of towels and linens, heating, water and electricity, tourist tax ... ..

Just spent 2 weeks in this lovely house/gite. The hosts who live next door are very helpful explaining where to visit in the area and also about the house. The tourist information in the house was mainly in french so not a great help to us. Plenty of space for 2 couples with 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Would have preferred a duvet on bed instead of a throw over but thats a personal choice. Lots of places to visit. We even had a night over in Jersey as ferry from St Malo is only 40 minutes away. The owners even left us a far breton (a traditional french dessert) for our return, which was welcomed and lovely. Loved the location.

Pros….comfortable bed but pillows thin and bolster uncomfortable (we did not use) and duvet instead of throw…would be better. Exceptionally good shower, very clean, good washing facilities and outside space. Kitchen well kitted out. Cons…..tourist information very out of date and only in French. Heating boiler did not adequately heat house, on chilly evenings….we were firmly advised not to touch or alter settings…and apparently it was necessary for the owner to enter house to check on regular basis. House very much decorated to owners taste ..with many accessories from its previous life. We loved the location and would happily return to the area again.

Superb two bedroom cottage, complete with modern appliances, superb kitchen and household furnishings, and antique furniture and decorations. Our hosts are kind, generous and wonderful people. They treated us like close friends. It's a quiet location with easy access to Dinan and other scenic parts of Brittany. We hope to return someday. If you stay here, you will too.

This gite is amazing, truly a home from home. It's spacious, beautifully decorated and the owners have thought of every possible convenience for their guests. The property is extremely well situated, in a quiet lane, and has access to many pretty coastal and inland resorts, most of them being less than a 30 minute drive, with the unmissable Mont St. Michel, being around 40 minutes. Our hosts Beatrice and Pascal were truly wonderful, they were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them, they genuinely put every effort into making your holiday experience the best it could possibly be.We really hope that we are able to return to the gite at some point in the future and can heartily recommend the property to anyone requiring a quiet and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful location. This is a charming Breton cottage that is updated, roomy and nicely furnished, with a well equipped kitchen, top quality bed linens and a large outdoor area with table, chairs and grill. It has covered parking for your car with direct access from the house and is convenient to everything - 5 mins drive to 4 large grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants and all kinds of other stores. It is only 13 mins to the center of Dinan with its Chateau, Cathedral and bell tower and lots of shops and restaurants. It also has easy highway access for exploring other towns and sights in Brittany. Pascal and Beatrice are very warm and welcoming, easy to communicate with and respond quickly. They live next door so they are easily accessible if you have questions. We stayed in their lovely house for 2 weeks and hated to leave. We recommend this property 100% and would be happy to return.

We spent a month at the Gite de la Bezardais and enjoyed every single day. The Gite itself is very comfortable, well appointed with everything we needed for our stay and the location for exploring the many interesting places that of Brittany has to offer is excellent. Even a couple of days exploring the Normandy beaches and of course Bayeux was very convenient. Dinan, for us, was a wonderful surprise and we spent many enjoyable days exploring the town and its surrounds. Beatrice and Pascale are excellent hosts and were always readily available with suggestions for places to visit.

Superb gite! Well designed and beautifully maintained. Beatrice is the perfect hostess. She guided us through a medical problem that would have been difficult to manage without her. She gave generously of her time to ensure our comfort. It was like leaving family when we said "good bye" to Beatrice and Pascal. We stayed 16 days and would have stayed longer.

This property in Quevert is amazing. It has a huge gated courtyard where one can park their car in the shade on the most notoriously hot day! Patio doors open from the kitchen to an sitting and eating area. Two master bedrooms - both with ensuites grace the 1st floor. The entire house is tastefully decorated and the kitchen, dining room and laundry areas are the best equipped I have seen in the over 20 European VRBOs I have stayed in! The most wonderful part of this rental is its location. Locally, it is one of the last houses on the road so there is almost no traffic; it is quiet and peaceful. Looking further out, it is minutes to Dinan, St. Malo and other wonderful sites in the region. Le Mont-Saint-Michel is easily accessible. The hosts were very helpful, generous and kind. We had a wonderful stay.

This gite, which is only a 35 minute drive from the St Malo ferry port, combines the charm of a country cottage with all the facilities that you would expect of modern holiday accommodation. The owners, Pascal and Beatrice were there to greet us on our arrival and showed us around the pristine and very well appointed cottage with its large private garden. For a family of four this is a roomy and generously equipped space with two en-suite bathrooms (with fantastic showers) as well as a third toilet on the ground floor. The kitchen has everything you would expect and the large lounge is a pleasant room with a number of traditional French features. Pascal and Beatrice provided a number of games and activities for visiting families and the garden includes a petanque court. Garden furniture and a barbeque is available for the patio area. The cottage is is Quevert, a village on the outskirts of the beautiful historic town of Dinan. A car journey into the town takes under ten minutes or a taxi fair is under 15 euros. In addition to the famous historic features and medieval architecture, Dinan provides all the shops, bars and restaurants that anyone would need in addition to beautiful riverfront area where boats and canoes can be hired. Quevert itself is a very quiet village and the gite is on a very quiet road from where a number of country walks can be taken.. At the end of a very enjoyable two weeks we were waved off by Beatrice and Pascal who proved to be friendly and thoughtful but unobstrusive hosts. We will most certainly be returning.

Die Übergabe der Gite von Beatrice und Pascal ist sehr angenehm verlaufen und alles wurde uns erklärt. Ebenfalls mit dabei waren viele Tipps für Besuche und Ausflüge in die nähere und etwas weitere Umgebung. Diese waren sehr hilfreich. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgerüstet was man für die Ferien benötigt. Wir wurden sogar mit einem von den Enkelkindern gebackenen Far Bretone überrascht- diese Ehre wird wohl nicht allen zuteil.

Très belle demeure bien équipée en pierre du pays avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. On se sent comme chez soi sans être chez soi. Les propriétaires Béatrice et Pascal sont chaleureux, accueillants, à l'écoute,... Habitué de partir chaque années en Bretagne, cette location sort du "lot" et je recommande vivement, on est pas déçu (sauf de repartir...). Bref magnifique vacances à tous les points de vue et une envie de revenir... Mr Hoyaux.

Le gîte est conforme à la description de l annonce et bien équipé. La propreté est impeccable. Il est bien agencé avec deux chambres équipées chacune d une salle de bain et de WC, très appréciable. Nous avons passé une excellent semaine dans le Gite de la Bézardais. Parfaitement située à deux pas de Dinan, et toute proche de Dinard, Saint-Malo, Saint-Lunaire ..., la maison est parfaitement équipée pour y séjourner à quatre personnes. Nos deux filles adolescentes étaient particulièrement ravies de disposer de leur propre salle d'eau avec une très grande douche, dans leur chambre. Nous tenons aussi particulièrement à souligner la propreté des lieux, car il nous est déjà arrivé des déconvenues sur ce point, dans d'autres locations. Merci également à Mr et Mme NORMAND pour leur très bon accueil.

Maison très agréable et bien pensée. Une salle d'eau et un wc attenants par chambre, c'est rarement vu. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Terrasse, transats, BBQ et j'en oublie. Schöner Aussenbereich mit Grill und Boulebahn. Wir haben uns in dem Haus absolut wohl gefühlt und die Nähe zu Dinan sehr geschätzt. Wir werden bestimmt bald erneut eine Zeit in dem Haus verbringen. Insgesamt eine gute Wahl für ein Feriendomizil da Standort, Austattung und vor allem die Betreuung

Und vor allem die Betreuung durch die Vermieter hohes Lob verdienen. Standort: Das Haus liegt ruhig am Ortsrand, kaum Verkehr. Trotzdem hat man unmittelbaren Zugang zu allen Verkehrswegen in alle Richtungen. De r nächste Supermarkt ist 5 Autominuten entfernt. In das Zentrum von Dinan braucht man keine 10 Minuten. Die Stadt bietet alles was man von einer erwartet. Der Weg ans Meer, egal welche Richtung man wählt dauert ein halbe Stunde Das Haus ist für vier Personen eingerichtet, was heißt,dass nicht einfach nur vier Betten aufgestellt sind (wie so oft) sondern es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad! Man stehtsich also nie im Weg. Die sonstige Ausstatung entspricht dem, was man auch zu Hause erwarten würde. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieter. Man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. Selbst als bei uns ärztliche Betreutung erforderlich wurde wurden wir von der Hausherrin zum Arzt und sogar ins Krankenhaus begleitet und von Ihr dabei ständig betreut. Wir sind Ihr dafür sehr verbunden. Für einen Bretagne Aufenthalt der ideale Standort.

Very charming comfortable cottage

The very friendly owners gave us a warm welcome and a delicious homemade cake. The house is clean and well equiped. The 2 bedrooms both have an ensuite bathroom with a great rainshower. The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood but supermarkets are closeby as is the lovely and very lively historic town of Dinan. The garden is completely fenced, safe for children and dogs. Nearby are splendid hiking paths. The weather was not that great during our 2 weeks stay but still we had a wonderful time. Thank you Beatrice and Pascal !
