Enjoy the house as a family, a group or with friends, hosting for ten people due to our five bedrooms, three bathrooms, as well as the pool table.

Can't fault Crucano Palm Groves we were a family of 12 ranging from 11 to 72. The Villa has plenty of rooms and space with 4 bathrooms an 3 toilets. Plenty of kitchen equipment and utensils. Having wifi was a bonus. It was very clean. Pool was well used and a great size for the whole family. More than enough garden furniture. Maryvonne was a lovely host and made us feel it was our own home for the week. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

House itself was good, but we would have liked little things like more chopping boards.. Or The downstairs bedroom was meant to be en suite, but wasn’t. The house said it was wheelchair accessible but wasn’t. The shower room would have been great with some grab rails also the downstairs toilet. Made life difficult to use, but we managed with some strategically placed chairs.The garden was lovely with plenty of space for lounging and eating.

Three families comprising older teenagers, 40 somethings and grandparents. The landlady was charming, flexible and made us feel very welcome. The decor very tasteful, recently updated. The weather was mixed so the covered pool/hot tub were a God send. Patio and bbq great for cocktail evenings. Two fridges great for big appetites, the house had plenty of room for all of us. Reading area, TV area, pool table hang out area and spacious kitchen grown up chat area. Fav sailing: La Trinite sur mer (10 mins) Fav surf spot: Queberon, first beach on right (10 mins) Fav walk: From the house to Etel (3/4 hours) Fav markets: Carnac and Auray Fav body boarding: Beach 5 mins from house. Fav clothes shopping and ice cream: Carnac Fav Birdwatching: Serzeau (spoonbills) Fav shells: Carnac town beach low tide! Look forward to returning in the future

A fabulous property providing facilities for all weathers. The pool was a huge bonus - swimming every day. Plenty of space for children to play. The house catered for all family needs and the location is convenient and easy for travelling to the many, varied communities, towns, beaches etc. The hosts were welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. We’re keen to return!

We had a very nice stay. The house was large, clean and well stocked with the essentials for a stay. The pool was a godsend. It is a short drive (or longish walk) from a great sandy beach, with other pleasant towns and beaches close at hand. Marie was charming, helpful and accessible. We would be very happy to stay again.

Superbe villa

Our group consisted of 6 adults & 2 children, staying for 2 weeks in August. A perfect location to explore the many superb beaches and attractive villages of central southern Brittany. The property is large & has excellent facilities for both sunny & wet weather conditions. The swimming pool is of good size for a holiday home and its motorised sliding roof is a useful feature. It also secures the pool area, thereby preventing children from accidentally falling in, enabling them to play safely in the large, fully enclosed garden. Maryvonne, the owner, is charming, being very pleasant to deal with and promptly responded to any issues that arose. During our stay, much of France was suffering from drought conditions, so regional restrictions were put in place regarding the filling of private swimming pools. It is to Maryvonne’s credit that she located another natural source of water, so that her pool could remain usable, when others had to close. This did understandably create a temporary upset to the water balance, causing the pool to go green, but it was soon overcome. We were just appreciative of her considerable efforts to ensure that we had a superb pool for most of our stay! I have no hesitation in highly recommending this property, particularly for families. Many thanks Maryvonne for a great holiday!

As a family, we’ve hired large self catering properties in France / Italy for 5 of the last 6 years. This was one of our best experiences. It was a great / spacious holiday home for 13 people (6 adults, 5 young adults and 2 children). It is well positioned to visit the pristine beaches of Brittany. Also plenty of well-run activities very close by (Forest adrenaline, go karting) as well as some interesting towns (e.g. Carnac, Lorient). The heated covered pool meant we could swim when the weather was bad and then expose the pool when the weather was better. The gate/fence meant we could relax with the children being outside. It was well kitted out with sun loungers and an outside gas bbq. Internet performance was fine for streaming films for wet weather days. The pool table and table football in the games room also got a lot of use. The owners were very responsive and quickly addressed everything that we brought to their attention. We were also kindly allowed into the property early. The cleanliness of the property was OK, however the owner had sustained a serious injury (whilst cleaning) on the day of our arrival. Looking for things to highlight for improvement. The kitchen was a bit dated, but everything was functional. The second fridge (utility room) struggled to cool things. The main fridge (kitchen) was very efficient, but not big enough for 13 of us to use as the only fridge. I would have no reservations about returning to the property and would highly recommend it to others.

We were welcomed by Marie and stayed as a family party for two weeks. The covered swimming pool saw a lot of use during our stay and we made good use of the barbecue. The beach and local supermarkets are not far away. There are water sports, cycling and walks, especially towards Quiberon. Small towns like Auray and Carnac are well worth a visit especially when street markets take place.

The garden was secure and flat with no steep steps or surprises which allowed our 2 and 4 year old to play on their scooters for ages without us having to worry or leave the hot tub! The swimming pool was lovely and with the added security of being enclosed with a lockable door. All the bedrooms were large in size and the outside decking with BBQ was perfect for the evenings. The house is about 10 minute drive to Carnac which is a lovely seaside town with lovely safe beaches. Marie was very helpful and met us at the times agreed.

Great house, beware the hidden cleaning fee! This is a great house in a superb position. Clean and comfortable everything you could wish for. The only trouble we had was at the end. We swept and mopped all rooms, stripped the beds, cleaned the kitchen etc. We advised the landlady Maryvonne that we needed to leave at 0730 to catch the ferry. As she had our deposit in cash she would need to meet us to check us out of the property. She arrived late and so we had to rush off. She decided that she would keep money (I'm not allowed to mention in the review the amount but it amounted to a 10% surcharge) as a cleaning fee, trust me it wasn’t messy, here were only 6 adults and NO children. We didn’t use the outside shower room, the TV/games room or the kids bedroom. This left a decidedly bad taste and we would not wish to stay again – hidden cost! Shame

Beaucoup de bons points : * très spacieux * silencieux et calme * géographiquement bien situé tout en étant à l'écart de la circulation * les chambres sont confortables * la maison est bien équipée (en particulier vaisselle et cuisine) les équipements sont bien entretenus (piscine et jacuzzi appréciables).
