We stayed 8 wonderful days in Jean Paul’s beautiful apartment. Very peaceful surroundings with a magnificent view. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful rest.

Property has incredible location on the water front/beach. Historical location very unique. Well centered for all WWII Sites, Grand Camp Maisy Battery, point du Hoc, Omaha beach and other Beach sites for D-Day, St Mere Egliase, and other D-Day Battle locations. It truly only had one Toilet. The Sinks and Shower are in one room with washer and Dryer. The toilet is in separate small room. Bedrooms are small but all is workable and functional. Kitchen has everything you need. Little bar is fun and convenient to visit around. Patio outside is great with large yard. We were there for 80th D-Day festivities so saw WWII Airplanes back and forth to point du Hoc. Proprietor was available, friendly and helpful. Responsive and suggestive of local area amenities.

The sea view is a big plus for this property, always changing, never boring, and very close. The property has a spacious living room, 1 spacious and 2 smaller bedrooms. The kitchen is complete but small. The location is very quiet, on the outskirts of Grandcamps-Maisy. Good location for Utah, Omaha and Gold beaches. The host was attentive and the instructions were clear.

Theme of the house is 'sailing'.. The length of the house gives full view of the sea. Kitchen is small but complete. Comfortable furniture and bed. Sunrise and sunset is only to be seen in July and August. We (september) had to go through the garden gate to the beach to see the sunset.

The apparment is very nice, beautiful situated and well equiped. Beds are a little bit small (my height is 1.84cm) Contact with the owner was bad, the house was during our stay under construction. The owner told us, after we had informed him, that he would stop the workers for the week. The week after our stay there would be no geusts, but nothing happened, when we sat the next day at our brekfast the workers were still walking around and making loud noises with sledge hammers. Therefor, the house is OK but the owner still has a lot to learn.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour proche des plages du débarquement. Accès privé à la plage très sympa pour la pêche à pied. Par contre literies à revoir, salle de bain un peu vétuste, frigo un peu petit pour une famille et odeur d'égout permanente et inexplicable dans l'entrée de l'appartement . En cas de pluie la terrasse prend l'eau depuis le balcon du dessus. Malgré tout vacances agréable et propriétaire disponible.

Idéalement situé, Jean-Paul propose un bel appartement spacieux et très bien équipé. Résidence très calme lors de notre séjour en ce début mai. Et quelle vue! L’accès direct à la plage (de galets à marée haute) est un petit luxe dont nous avons largement profité!

Superbe appartement en front de mer avec accès direct à la plage. Très bien équipé, idéalement placé pour toutes les visites liées à la bataille de Normandie. Cuisine petite mais très bien équipée. Et, du salon- salle à manger, cette vue fabuleuse sur la mer !!! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour avec la chance d'avoir une grande marée le dernier jour !!!!

Een mooi gelegen woning(die wel wat onderkoud kan gebruiken). Je loopt zo het strand op of het dorp in voor een baguette! Even verder genieten van een lekker drankje bij Cafe du Pont met uitzicht op de haven! Uitvalbasis voor alle D-day bezoeken maar ook genoeg andere historische bezoekjes te doen. Frankrijk zou Frankrijk niet zijn als er veel dicht is na het hoogseizoen!

Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben, alles was benötigt wird, ist auch vorhanden. Der Blick war fantastisch. Wir haben unsere Ferienwoche sehr genossen. Jean-Paul war sehr nett. Unserem Hund hat der Garten und der direkte Zugang zum Watt sehr gefallen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Toutefois, ne pas avoir de petits handicaps : c'est un rez-de-chaussée, mais avec beaucoup de marches (équivalentes à un étage), le sol extérieur ne permet pas de rouler des valises, ni de fauteuil roulant). Et la terrasse n'est pas utilisable par temps de pluie.

Le logement est très beau et nous avons appréciés la gentillesse du propriétaire qui nous a laissé entrer dans le logement 1h avant l'heure prévue, accompagné de 2 jeunes enfants, ça nous a beaucoup touché et nous lui en remercions fortement. Nice well equipped rental home. We were able to check in on various locations in regards DDay, all within 30 min drive. The ocean view is perfect especially the sunset. Good communication with Jean-Paul and all very clear. The only comment we have is the master bed, it was not to comfy. When my husband turned, I was wiggling. And note to Jean Paul: please check the dust on the lampshades (ceiling). Overall, it was a good place to be.

Mooi huisjes met magnifiek uitzicht over zee. Veel oorlogshistorie in de buurt. Echter wij hadden het huisje uitgekozen op de open haard, dit is een belangrijke eis voor ons. Maar er bleek geen echte haard te zijn, en degene die er was, was niet bruikbaar volgens de eigenaar. Het was een sierhaard. Dit was een behoorlijke tegenvaller. Verkeerde informatie op de site.

Het huis is ons (een gezin van 5) prima bevallen. Het heeft 3 nette slaapkamers, een ruime woonkamer en een schone badkamer. Het keukentje is niet groot maar is voorzien van alle gemakken. Door de ligging van dit huis, is het dé locatie voor mensen die zich willen verdiepen in de geschiedenis van WWII en D-Day. Kortom: TOP!!
