The house is in a quiet area with a fenced garden, so you can enjoy the place in peace. It is 1. 5 km from the port, close to shops, it is also close to the beach which is 2 km away.
Covering an area of 110 sqm, it can accommodate 7 people. It has:
- 3 bedrooms with 2 double beds
- 1 bathroom with 1 shower. The toilets are separated.
- 1 fully equipped kitchen (cutlery, crockery, hotplates, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven).
- 1 terrace with 1 veranda and 1 barbecue.
- 1 internet access and WIFI and a television
- 1 large garden
Note that the appliances are provided (washing machine, dryer). There is also a car park to park your car.
Leisure services, cultural and sports are also close to the house (botanical garden, cinemas, museums, amusement parks and water, restaurants, zoos, casinos, pedal boats, horse riding, water sports, fishing, windsurfing , caving, diving, surfing and hiking).

House was in a really quiet residential area in La Rochelle. Nice modern house with all amenities except air con or Fans.
House is much too far from La Rochelle town or port to be walkable ( 2 kilometres at least).
only one taxi firm in the whole of La Rochelle and they could be 1 to 3 hours depending how busy they were.
Nothing in the way of shops or bars or restaurants anywhere near the house.

We had lovely holidays. La Rochelle is quite charming and animated.
The house is very comfortable, bright, functional and well equipped.
Its proximity to the city center makes it very convenient.
Cycling around the city with its safe cycling lanes is ideal for exploring the city and surroundings (Cycled regularly up to Surgere and back)
If you love food then try Christopher Countanceau's two michelin star restaurant.
The house is to be definitely recommended
