About this house rental
Spacious and lovely Creole house, well ventilated by the trade winds coming from the sea, surrounded by a 1200m2 tropical garden, its large salt pool (10mx4m and new linner) and its panoramic view.
The 210m2 house, completely renovated in 2017 and very functional, offers 3 large air-conditioned bedrooms on one level with adjoining bathrooms, and 2 air-conditioned bedrooms upstairs with attic bathroom, a large bright and comfortable living room. Beautiful mahogany furniture has been specially made by a local cabinetmaker for the bedrooms to maintain its typical Creole charm at home. The bedding is new and of very good quality.
The kitchen is modern and spacious, open to the outside, equipped with completely new, complete equipment (Nespresso machine and other robots) and everything you need to facilitate the preparation of meals "with several hands" in a friendly and practical atmosphere.
The 120m2 veranda surrounding the house, equipped with a very comfortable garden furniture and a large teak table will welcome your aperitifs and good dinners, in a warm and relaxing setting.
You will have an exceptional view not overlooked on Simon Bay and the sugar cane fields of the surrounding countryside.
Its ideal location on the Atlantic coast, in a quiet residential area, 20 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from all amenities, near the Clément and Simon homes, gives the possibility of visiting the white bottoms and the bathtub. Joséphine, the Ilets du François and Robert, the beaches of the south and those of the Caribbean coast, but also to discover the north of the island, its volcano and its luxuriant vegetation.
In a few kilometers, nature lovers can discover the wild beaches of Petit and Grand Macabou, Anse Grosses Roches and all the sublime beaches in the south of the island. Fans of windsurfing or kite surfing will enjoy the turquoise waters of Pointe Faula.
It is an ideal holiday home to share a stay with friends or family, you will appreciate the advantages of this place open to nature, whether you are a couple in love or surrounded by a dozen happy guests, which makes this one unique!

Das Haus war einfach perfekt für uns. Wir waren 9 Personen und haben Weihnachten dort verbracht. Die Terasse ist wunderbar, der Pool erfrischend und die Küche sehr gut eingerichtet. Die Betten und Schlafzimmer haben auch gepasst und sind mit Klimaanlage ausgesttatet. Die Gastgeberin, Martine, ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten sogar Zuwachs in Form eines heimatlosen Kätzchens von ca. 8 Wochen, das sich im Garten befand und immer zutraulicher wurde. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und wären sehr gerne länger geblieben!

Très bonne surprise sur cette charmante maison créole. Nous l'avions choisi pour son emplacement qui nous permettait de pouvoir parcourir toute l'île pendant nos vacances en minimisant les temps de déplacement. Les chambres sont grandes et spacieuses. En fin de journée après nos excursions nous profitions de la piscine et des immenses terrasses. La grande table sur la terrasse est parfaite pour les repas en famille (à 8 nous avions de la place).
J'en profite pour remercier Martine pour ses idées d'excursions et ses infos sur les traiteurs/pécheurs du coin. A savoir il y a un très bon bar/restaurant à coté (la ferme des orchidées) avec un camion à pizza (parfait pour les enfants).
Bref... on ne voulait plus partir. Et maintenant on ne cherche qu'à revenir.

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour à 10 dans la maison de Martine et Thierry. Le temps s arrête, on se pose sur la terrasse côté piscine et on savoure les vents légers, le parfum des fleurs du jardin... Martine est très à l écoute de ses hôtes et nous a bien aidé à chaque fois que nous en avions besoin.
