We were looking for a nice apartment overlooking the harbor and the tide and restaurants near by. This is exactly what we found. We enjoyed a very relaxing week in Granville. Expect to hear some happy conversations from the nice restaurant nextdoor when you open the windows. Also the terrace in the back is near the restaurants‘ ventilation. All in all a nice place to stay. The pictures of the apartment fit perfect to reality.

A lovely place to stay but watch out for the hidden costs

This property was very clean, well equipped ( but no wardrobe in ensuite room), the view over the harbour from the lounge/dining area was just perfect for relaxing. Very nice restaurants all along the harbour,shops and town all within walking distance. Do check the layout, the bedrooms are all accessed through the double bedroom and the en suit double is accessed across the out side patio area, Just a few minor problems, the phone number we were given didn't work from an English mobil, It was not made clear we had to pay a 200 euro deposit on arrival, we would have done this by credit card before we left, or taken more euros to cover the cost, we had to pay extra for electric and water, (we were not given the readings or a receipt), we were not told it would be 75 euros to clean the apartment or do it yourself, or 65 euros for the bedding and towels, ( this fee was wavered when we were able to show the homeaway website that said it was provided)

Es war sehr schön! Die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos - trotz Verspätung unsererseits. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht, selbst Kleinigkeiten wie Spülmittel und Spültabs sind vorhanden. Und der Blick auf das Hafenbecken ist - magnifique!!!

Sehr gut gelegene Ferienwohnung mit Blick auf den Hafen. Eine Innenhofterasse kann im Sommer als Erweiterung der Wohnung genutzt werden. Gute Ausstattung. Das kleine Schlafzimmer mit dem Etagenbett hat leider kein Fenster. Das Parken auf den öffentlichen Parkplätzen vor der Wohnung war gut möglich. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung wohlgefühlt.

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, die Aussicht zum Hafen ist wirklich toll. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung passte auch gut. Granville ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Aufflüge in die Normandie und die Bretagne. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub!

De passage dans la Manche pour des vacances, nous avons eu le plaisir de résider dans ce bel appartement moderne et fonctionnel. De plus la localisation de la location et sa vue sont idéales ! Nous avons également pu profiter du Carnaval de Granville.

Location très agréable avec une grande pièce à vivre donnant sur le port et son animation maritime, l’équipement est parfait.La localisation est idéale. La troisième chambre autonome est très bien équipée avec salle eau mais son accès nécessite de passer par la terrasse extérieure… ce qui peut représenter un avantage ou une incommodité si l’on réside avec de jeunes enfants. Propriétaires très sympathiques

Wir (2x Erw. mit 12- und 6-jährigen Kindern) waren 14 Tage dort und mit der Unterkunft, insbesondere der Lage, und den entspannten Vermietern (unsere Ankunft war Aufgrund kurzem Platzwundennähen im Krankenhaus erst um 22:30h) sehr zufrieden. Bilck auf den Hafen ist grossartig. Granville erkunden ist fussläufig machbar. Supermarkt fussläufig (10min), für den Grosseinkauf 15min mit dem Auto. Restaurants für viele Geschmäcker mehr als genug fussläufig. Parkplatz im 100m Umkreis genug. Ausstattung: Betten gut, Küche gut, Wohnraum gut, Bad gut, Wlan gut, insgesamt 5-Sterne. Zum Kochen nehmen wir immer eigene Schneidemesser mit. Und eine ordentliche Reibe. Würden sonst meist von vorhanden Utensilien enttäuscht. War aber alles machbar. Tips: Schneidemesser mitnehmen. Küchenhandtücher mitnehmen. Geschirrspültabs mitnehmen (2 inkl.). Klopapier mitnehmen (2 inkl.). Gegebenenfalls Badhandtücher und Bettwäsche mitnehmen. Zeigen lassen wo Strom und Wasser abgelesen werden kann (wurde bei uns nicht berechnet). Preis für Badhandtücher und Bettwäsche betrug 70€ für 4 Personen. War so im Vorhinein nicht offensichtlich auf der Fewoseite. Französisch Sprechen wäre als Gast von Vorteil. Geht aber auch mit diversen Online Übersetzern und ein wenig Englisch. ;) Fazit: Danke Familie Duchemin. Sehr gerne wieder! 5-Sterne!

Wir haben einen tollen Aufenthalt gehabt. Die Wohnung ist komfortabel eingerichtet und wir haben vor allem den Blick auf den Hafen und die Terasse im Innenhof sehr genossen. Der Strand und die Innenstadt sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Abends hat man auf dem Weg in die Stadt viele gute Restaurants zur Auswahl.
